I had to reset my primary password. Now the new password is not being accepted. And I keep getting a pop-up asking for the password. What can I do to have my password accepted?

I already tried to un-check "use primary password" in settings but cannot accomplish that with a password that is rejected.

This has started to happen whenever I try to do a Google search. I type in something into the search box and before I can go any further I'm hit with having to go through reCaptcha. This is a major pain in the butt. How can I disable this?

It doesn't happen when I use other search engines - just Google.

Firefox decided to remove the total amount of homepage shortcuts. For months, it allowed for 4 rows and 8 columns, with blank "Add Shortcut" shortcuts. This allowed me to organize or split my shortcuts better. This morning, it decided to move all shortcuts together. As per the "Before" and "After" screenshots attached.

Usual disclaimers: Firefox 125.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 No Config edits No extensions currently installed manipulate, affect or otherwise influence shortcuts

Please advise.

I just installed Firefox v125.0.1 on my new desktop and I am constantly being harassed by Firefox suggesting "tips" to me that I don't want nor did I ask for.

Such as this example below, see screenshot. I am browsing the web and needed to open a new tab, and immediately Firefox thinks it is okay to harass me with something that I OBVIOUSLY already know...... searching google from the address bar.

So now I have to stop what I am doing to click the "Okay, Got It" button to proceed. But, that won't stop Firefox from harassing me with the EXACT same tip in a few minutes from now.....

This isn't the only "tip" it harasses me with. It's just the only one I have managed to get a screenshot of for now.

How do I permanently disable this crap?

I have been using the internet and web browsers for 30ish years now. I'm pretty sure I know how to use an address bar by now Firefox.....

I also don't appreciate being harassed by things at all. Since this does the same "tips" repeatedly and they never stop it is absolutely harassment. Why are you showing me ANY tip more than once?????

Picture-in-picture since recent YouTube update keeps closing. Is there way i could configure in about:config to never close and always stay open even if page refreshes and have it move the video play back always to the Picture-in-picture window ? If not could this be made a feature in a future update ?

YouTube especially been annoying to Firefox users, cos it keeps refreshing the whole page breaking stuff every time it plays the video, as well have issues with looping videos even tho they are already fully buffered, making entire YouTube experience as frustrating as possible as encouragement to switch to chrome, which i refuse for obvious reasons.

Anything i can do on my end ? If tested if this happens in incognito mode as well with all extensions disabled in private windows, no change of behavior.

Btw this happens on the new YouTube interface with no way to get back to the old interface, cos it keeps the annoying features of the old interface even if you try to re position stuff using hacky ways like extensions that do so, which of course break stuff even further. I just want Picture-in-picture to remain open, and to play current video in picture-in-picture that is playing automatically.

Btw the Picture-in-picture experience with chrome or chrome based browsers is absolutely horrible, giving me even more reasons to stay on Firefox besides privacy related issues and other issues.

Hi. I can't access my add-ons that I installed. When I click on the extensions icon it doesn't open that little menu like it does for other people, but it takes me to 'about:addons' in a new tab. I also want to pin my addons to my toolbar which is also not working. Please help me out

Dear Friends at Firefox,

There is only one reason that i'm using Firefox less and less ; because of the download files options. When i choose the option to download to a particular location, inspite of that, most files get down loaded to the firefox download folder and i always have to go there and then copy or move it out to a location desired.

There is no easily vavilable info about that.

Would request some info and help for the same. i have tried all that i could from the current browzer settings and it has not helped.

Been a loyal fan of Firefox and would love to have this resolved.

Please see the attached screenshot. I get this popup EVERY TIME I open FireFox. I've tried a number of different suggested "fixes" from Google Searches with no success.

I want this popup GONE.

Whenever I go to youtube, it fails to work and leaves an error in the console similar to

I've determined that I can fix the problem by deleting my Firefox profile. I'd prefer to avoid this since there's a lot of useful history there. Is there a more targeted fix the problem I'm seeing?

To upload/import bookmarks into Firefox, the file extension of JSON is required. However from old crashed computer, I exported bookmarks in Excel. Please help. Thanks

I'm using Firefox with Google as my default search engine. When ever I try to type in the Google search box, what I am typing appears in the address bar. I want to search in the Google search box as it is at eye level for what I am doing. I have tried all sorts of ideas from the web to fix this but no joy. Does anyone know how I disable this? Thank you

Hello, as of recently Firefox got the new tool to highlight text in the native PDF viewer, and I really enjoyed using it. As of today, I had not updated or changed versions, but I suddenly lost access to the highlight tool option. Refreshing the page didn't work, downloading a new PDF and opening it didn't work, restarting Firefox didn't work, and I haven't seen anybody else have this issue.

I don't know if this is just an issue due to it being in beta, or it being on beta 7 but not 8, but either way any solution is appreciated!

Had to replace FF with Chrome in order to play DRM content on my W11 laptop. I get message saying you are downloading remedy, but nothing ever changes. Would prefer to continue 15+ year relationship with FF, but seems like youre abandoning capabilities for DRM video content?
