Hello! After updating from 108 to 122, there's no restore previous session button. The recently closed tabs option only returned half of the tabs. Will this bug be repaired and how can I get back the tabs?

God this is frustrating just to get to this point of asking a question on your website after going through pages of crap.

I am trying to use a website, it is suppose to be able to interact or detect one of my extensions but it does not everytime. I use it ok on other browsers but though Mozilla the extension is not detetcted.

I have tried reinstalled Mozilla and the extension but still no luck, I tried other similar extensions but they also are not detetcted.

I am using a Launchpad website that is supposed to interact with a browser wallet but it does not detect and launch the wallet extention , I have tried different wallets, same each time. Common denominator here is Mozilla

To make the local startpage as a new tab I tried autoconfig.js and autoconfig.cfg but I got a error message when I open the broswer and nothing change. To remove the url from the local startpage I browse the reddit but I couldn't find answer, I want that when I open the browser it show my custom and local startpage without the url appearing.

I'm experiencing a problem when I visit certain websites, like 'https://mui.com/x/react-data-grid/'. Every time I try to access this site, the page starts an infinite reloading loop, preventing me from using the website normally.

When I click on the Firefox logo on my task bar it flashes open and then closes. I click it again and it opens up but not with my tabs that had been open via the last session (which I have it to do)?? I have to go to history and click on recently closed windows to get my tabs back??

I have a new WIN11 HP laptop, have installed Firefox as my default browser, and disabled the intrusive Edge as far as is possible.

My email application is Outlook, which over the last few years has worked well, but today it's telling me that my browser cannot access the clipboard. There's no explanation from Microsoft, just advice to the effect that I should contact you for an explanation/solution.

Can anyone help please?

So to start with, this is a brand new computer, the video card was out of an old computer but everything else is brand new. Upon installing windows and updating everything we installed Firefox it started for a few minutes then crashed.

After many tries(uninstalling and reinstalling) we find that uninstalling Firefox and installing through Microsoft store it will start once but crash shortly after and will not start again. If we are able to get through to the menu and disable hardware acceleration it works a little longer but will eventually crash and never open again.

Holding down shift will not open troubleshooting mode.

I have updated everything to make sure it is up-to-date, through manufacturers websites. I have gone step by step with every recommended page to try and I still can't get Firefox to start even once now.

I'm sure it is a check box somewhere that needs to be checked or unchecked preventing Firefox from starting, but I am at my wit's end here.

Hey Guys! A few days ago I was watching YouTube videos... suddenly, I clicked on a video and there was no audio. I have tried everything I could think of, but nothing works. No web based audio passes on Firefox for me. My other browsers work fine. Can anyone assist me here?

I have been trying to logon to my SirusXM account for 30 minutes. I enter the email address for the account and it says it can't find it. Then Find Username link tells me to use the email it can't find. Repeated several times. Even got online with SirusXM chat pop up and they told me to use the email it "can't find". The email is/was typed correctly. The FireFox is the latest update. The OS is Windows 11 (updated) and the hardware is an I9-12900HX, 32 gig laptop. More than adaquate. So on a whim I opened the logon site in Brave and voila got right in. Am I doing something wrong with Firefox?

I have new windows 11 laptop. I added firefox browser & made it my default. It displays a news feed upon starting. I've never seen this on earlier versions. How can I turn it off? I don't want anything displayed except a search box & my bookmarks. If this can't be disabled I will be looking for a different default browser :( Thanks.

I use an addon to display my tabs in a tree on the side of the screen. As such, the horizontal tabs at the top of the screen are unnecessary, and I would like to remove them.

I've tried to follow a few other guides on how to do this, without success. I've created a userChrome.css file in the "chrome" folder of my active Firefox profile. It currently looks like this:

visibility: collapse !important; min-height: 0 !important; }

tab{ display:none!important; }

However, the tabs remain. I've tried a few other permutations of these rules. I've made sure to save the text file and restart firefox multiple times. It also persisted across a PC restart.

What am I doing wrong?

I keep getting notifications from this website. How can I stop them? I've blocked the website but I still get the notifications.

  I am running the latest Firefox v122 (firefox_122.0+build1-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~mt1_amd64.deb not snap)

and when using the --profile option to specify the startup profile it fails to start even on a NEW system that never ran Firefox if I give it a directory that resides on a mounted ext3 filesystem.

  All the permissions are OK and yet running strace I see an error and after a few second will get the

generic pop-up with the error message: (after a few seconds)

Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your device, or use a different profile.

 Running the SAME from /tmp works fine, but I need the profile to reside on a persistent storage area

so if the LIVE distro restarts then it can restore the previous session, bookmarks, options, etc...

I searched the forums, and it appears this issue has answers going back 12 years.

Answers explain how to get it to show up again. Basically, it amounts to turning the bar off and back on again.

The problem is it WILL happen again. Why? It's been 12 years and no explanation as to why it happens or how to fix it permanently.

None of the Firefox updates over the years have addressed this either.

The above trojan frequently appears in Mozilla folder - file:
