I have found Manage Extensions to be useless. It should 1) show all extensions installed whether turned on or not, and 2) Include a toggle to pin/unpin the extension there, rather than users having to search for this. I don't know how to find installed extensions that are not turned on.

The Help says to use the Gear Icon next to the extension. I don't have a Gear icon. I have 3 dots and there is no way to pin/unpin or to change the order the pinned extension appears on the bar. I don't know how to change the order.

Nice-to-have: an option to put all extensions in one place, down the left side panel, rather than split between top and left panel.

By the way, I went to "Show details" below on this entry screen and the system threw out everything. I had to retype it all.

I open Extensions and I can't find my extension so I open manage extensions and it shows but it's not letting me use it the image that is roblox unfriender is the one not showing up and the picture of 2 extensions is the ones showing up don't roast me I'm a new user

I have set up multi-account containers, but when I try to open a Google Workspace email account in a container, I get an error message:

"Google 400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know."

I have used this successfully before, but have just got a new Macbook and now it's not working. Thoughts?

Last month I installed Firefox on my brand new Windows 11 PC. The PC is set up using UK English as the default language and all the applications, including Norton extensions in Firefox v 153.0.3 (64bit), install in English.

The one exception is the Norton AntiTrack extension downloaded and installed from MS Store. It installs in English on MS Edge, but on the same day installed from MS Store on Firefox in French.

I have uninstalled AntiTrack and Firefox from my PC and then reinstalled them after rebooting, but it still insists on reinstalling in French. I can find no way to change the language setting in AntiTrack.

Does anybody have any suggestions to solving this problem.

NB AntiTrack also installs in English on our Android tablet and phones.

Its not a new issue that I am raising but facing this issue many times just could not get the time and was not sure why it was happening. So, I use Firefox's Container Extension and logged in to two different accounts from both the containers. So, if am closing the browser and have not closed the tab that has the logged in account attached it would be log me out the next time I open the browser. In fact, it logs sometimes log me out of the account that is open in the other container. Although there's catch in it, if I rather closing the tab I put all of them in a group and close the group and open a new and then close the browser then everything would be fine but if somehow I miss it, its certain that I am going to be logged out for sure. Sometimes, in some of the sites, last time as far as I can remember I have been logged out of all the accounts. I don't its something to do with firefox or extension but just wanted to raise the issue.

unable to get Download Helper to initialize in my Firefox browser. i have checked and rechecked so many things. how can i fix this so i can dl videos from the internet and watch them?

I installed a Mozilla/FF GMail Notifier App. I tho't that I removed it as I no longer needed it. It still Notifies me; annoying. But it's not in my Extension List to Remove again if need be??? How can a hidden/invisible App be still operating, that is supposed to be Removed?

Since Mozilla/FF has no option to Delete a Question, I found the answer to the above posted. MY error: It was a Google Linked App, not the one I Removed which did indeed become Removed. Sigh!

Yesterday (Sat 5/31), I woke up to the 139.0.1 update, along with a new behavior that Firefox will hang (and require a Force Quit) any time I click a pinned extension that opens a drop-down interface (e.g. 1Password, Adblock Plus, Pocket).

I've tried disabling all extensions and bringing single ones back (as well as disabling Pocket via about:config) - the result: any extension that opens a dropdown causes the hang, and any extension that runs without opening a dropdown works just fine, regardless of the combination of extensions that are enabled/disabled at the time.

I tried opening Troubleshoot Mode (although it's of little use since my problem seems rooted in extension behavior) - the first several times I tried, it ALSO caused a hang, but now I'm able to turn it on & off without an issue (though the page rendering is wonky within it - I imagine that's just a Troubleshoot Mode thing?). For whatever it's worth, I think the change that preceded it starting to open without hanging was my disabling this [setting] (though it didn't cause any change in the original behavior, which was my initial goal).

I'm running macOS 14.6.1 if it's of any use. Thanks for any troubleshooting ideas!

In firefox, an extension no longer appears in the toolbar. It used to. Therefore I can no longer log in into that extension nor can I restore it to the toolbar. My version Firefox 138.03 64-bit. The extension is Phantom version 25.16.0

"Adblock" cannot be found in the PROGRAMS listed on my PC, so no way to "uninstall" your uninvited, unwelcome, unneeded bit of buy-this-buy-this-buy-this angling. 3.
