In the past, when ICS files were in a mail, I had been asked what to do, and could open them in OUTLOOK. This option has been apparently cancelled and it only asks where to save the file, without any option to open it directly. Furthermore, when I try to modify it in the "settings" and change it to "Always ask" I can't find no ICS files nor OUTLOOK SCHEDULE files. Please advice. Thanks

Every time I enter a link to a google service, I see a notice that says "Your should be redirected in a moment..." and then I get redirected to the Stanford University website (https://pass.stanford.edu/signin.html). It is not a specific website redirecting me, but rather some algorithm is detecting a google link and sending me to Stanford University instead . For instance, if I paste in a link to a particular location in Google Maps, I will end up at Stanford instead. I have no idea how to fix this, but it makes me avoid Firefox and use Chrome because Chrome does not redirect. I would rather use Firefox.

Thought I should bring it to your attention. My default browser is Firefox and I use Earthlink as my email. Earthlink just informed me that Firefox no longer supports Earthlink. I have this box that shows up over the top of any video application on my firefox browser since my most recent update. It doesn't appear on other browsers. How can I remove it?

Firefox will not sign in to Navigation Care.com? Anyway tp check for blocked? only started 3 weeks ago.

This is the first time, that an update lost all of my tabs. Is there a way to access previous sessions, other than the most recent one? I would like to access a session from last week, and see if I can get my tabs back. I'm very unhappy about this and I've not been able to restore my tabs. The current tabs are place holders, and they do the reflect what I had before the update.

I had a computer crash - it happened when I was in the process of closing one Firefox window.

After a reload, I find that all saved passwords after 2018 have been deleted. Luckily I am one of these persons that ignores advice to regularly change a password and have managed to restore most of these from memory. However, that still leaves a gmail account and reddit that I cannot log into, nor have the passwords written down.

Nothing else has been affected. Bookmarks, recent history are all there. I was even able to do a Session Restore on the pages I had open. All that is missing is about four years of saved passwords. Even the predictive text that pops the user name into the prompt for a login has gone.

Is there any way that all the passwords that should be there can be restored? Are they sitting somewhere on the computer? I don't mind manually restoring them if need be but I would like to get into these accounts.

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

I cannot log into my Bank or puzzle> No internet? Trouble started with Firefox upgrade to must have Edge? Can you call me [removed phone# from public forum]. I am a senior and technically challenged and must make these corrections. Why did you upgrade and change everything?

Even with password and verification code, I cannot access my account on the mobile phone. After entering the code is remains endlessly "working". The computer is not working now so I cannot "sync".

Any advice?

I am encountering an issue where I am unable to update from within my browser (Help->About). I have confirmed that the policies.json ("C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution\policies.json") has "DisableAppUpdate": false, to ensure I am not blocking myself. As of now if I try to update it gives me a prompt saying: "Updates avaliable at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new" Is I give myself administrator access then I get normal behavior and the browser begins updating automatically.

The odd thing is if I modify the permissions on C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox directory to allow normal users the ability to write/modify its contents then the Normal User Account is then able to update the browser as desired. The obviously solution is to just modify the permission and allow Normal Users to update. But I am hoping you have a better solution that more precise because I am concerned of the security impact of opening the directory to all users.

Is there a specific file/sub directory I can give them access to that accomplishes the same thing or is there a setting I need to change on the installer that would fix this.

I have a locked file that shows up as Invalid Symlinks error. I am not sure but I think it may be Profile.ini Here is what I am getting that tells me its a Non-Existent Destination file. My question is why is it Invalid symlink and what can I do to fix it? Firefox no longer supports Norton Identity Safe Mobile Unlock and Auto Fill UN/PW, anyone have a solution? I have Windows 10 with Norton Extensions enabled and Norton Vault is displayed but does nothing. Firefox is up to date also (that could be the problem; everything worked a week ago.)
