Dear Support Team,

I am currently experiencing a very frustrating issue with Firefox. I have been using it for many years, and it has always been my preferred and most comfortable browser for my daily work. I depend on it heavily, as all my bookmarks and other important information are stored there.

Over the past few weeks, Firefox has been crashing more than ten times a day. I have already tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested in forums and through AI-based support, but none of them have resolved the problem. I also attempted to install and use the Firefox Beta version, but the issue still continues.

In our environment, other users and devices are not encountering this problem, so it does not appear to be related to internal firewall or antivirus restrictions.

Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? I have attached the error screen that appears after the crash along with the crash report for your reference.

After new update my Firefox is completely bricked. I can't do anything with it, it just wiped all of my tabs out and now I can't open any, search or do anything.

All my settings are blank, running private doesn't help. If I right click a tab, it shows up with "new" and all of the other opens are blank.

It first happened after the update, only my first and last tab had titles. All the other tabs open turned blank, and could not be accessed. Then the second time I accessed them, they had all disappeared.

Tried reinstalling, didn't help.

On desktop, but had to make this on mobile because I can't even get to the support website.

Browser shuts down within 10 -20 seconds of going to a website, and I get a crash report which I have clicked to forwarded each time to Mozilla.

Also have a new error message at the top of the browser that says: "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." (image attached)

Not sure if that is related or not.

A few moments after opening Firefox, (on an Acer Spin 5 that is up to date) Il loses connection along with all other Firefox open tabs, all on its own. When retrying on Firefox, a message appears saying that it is unable to retrieve the prior session. What is causing this and how can it be fixed?

Hello, Firefox has been giving me some troubles lately and I can't figure out how to resolve the problem. Since I haven't found any way to consistently reproduce crashes, it is very hard for me to tell if Troubleshoot Mode also experiences the crashes, and the time I can spend doing that is very limited. As previously stated, it is very inconsistent, but relatively frequent, sometimes it crashes very soon and several times in a day, others it doesn’t at all. Sometimes it crashes with several tabs open, sometimes with only one; sometimes it crashes while using a webapp, others it does so on the newspaper page. It might be more frequent while there are Electron Webapps open, but it's more a hunch than anything, since sometimes it happens without those. This inquiry is related to Mozilla Firefox web browser from version 140 until 148 for Windows 10 64-bit operating system. Over the years I have rarely updated this type of Firefox web browser, but in the past two or three years I get too many crashes. Some of the crash logs or reports are saved, but nothing else is wrong with the web browser other than random crashes. Now I have the latest 32-bit version installed. Should I use 64-bit instead? But now It has become very annoying. I have maximum ten to fiftheen tabs open at the same time in the web browser, but I never understand anything for why it crashes so often.

I am not a computer nerd I can only describe what is happening. I am addicted to puzzles and do them every day but am encountering problems nearly every day this week of the puzzle pieces not responding to mouse and have to shut down the computer. At other times I am kicked out of the site and returned to my desk top. No amount of trying to then get back into firefox is useless until much later on. Why is this happening?

Windows10 simply multiplies the numbers of active Mozilla Firefox Apps which are open. Every day for about two weeks I've been having to delete hundreds of Firefox Apps open in the Task Manager. So many open in a very short time it locks up the Win10 system. I've attached a pic

When I try to go into my google account for any reason and a few other websites, it will say use passkey or try another way. I have done both several times and Firefox ALWAYS FREEZES and I have to force quit. I have reinstalled Firefox, gotten rid of all cookies and cache, gotten rid of extensions and everything I could do from the help website but nothing seems to work. I have also reinstalled Firefox but the same thing keeps happening. I need HELP!

Hi, The versions of Firefox since Feb 2026 have been extremely memory hungry on Windows 10, even though I have the option to restore tabs on demand set to TRUE in the config.

The memory hungriness has got so bad now that even on my 16GB machine, about once a week I find that my computer has suddenly run out of memory without warning and my entire screen goes black (not just within the Firefox window, the entire screen). When the computer gets into that state I am unable to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to get back to Task Manager, and the only way out is to hard-reset my computer.

This means that whenever I want to do anything else remotely memory hungry, such as running my research code, or a game, or a Zoom meeting, I have to kill Firefox first. But I sometimes even end up with black screen when trying to use Word or Excel alongside Firefox.

Essentially, Firefox is becoming unusable on my desktop, and its bookmark feature is borderline unusable on mobile now since the update a month ago made it impossible to change which folder I save my new mobile bookmarks in.

So if I have two more black screen clashes I think I will give up using Firefox entirely after being loyal to it for about 15 years. This is extremely disappointing.
