Whenever I click on VPN on your task line I get the same drop down window offering installation. Upon clicking on "further" I end up with a page which offers nothing to proceed to an installation process. I realy feel lost and dumped into a marry go round endless circle.

I used to have VPN on my computer. Then I got a technician in to find out why it was running so slowly. He said it was because of the VPN, so I removed it. So my question is: Will Firefox VPN slow my computer down?

I wanted to use a VPN so that my private browsing wouldnt go straight to the router. So I open the Firefox VPN and sign up for a Mozilla account. When I'm finished, it says the VPN panel is open and I should run the VPN, but the panel isnt open. Instead its showing me the Get Started screen again. Ive tried multiple times and asking multiple sources but nothings come up, so I need help here.

I have tested this a couple dozen times over a few days . When I use the Proton VPN extension in Firefox it is broadcasting in plain text( sni= plain text ) .Using Firefox without the vpn extension broadcast is encrypted . When I use the Proton VPN app sni=encrypted every single time . Why ?

I'm wondering if there is a compatibility issue with the built-in Firefox VPN and the DoH settings. I have the DNS over HTTPS set to 'custom' with the default option of Cloudfare

With the VPN turned on 1.1.1.1/help shows that I am not connected or using DoH, but the second I turn the VPN off I am connected and using DoH. It seems that the Firefox VPN uses Fastly as its DNS and not the DoH settings I selcted.

Is there a way for the VPN+DoH to work together? Admittedly I'm very new to trying to be more secure/anonymous on the internet, but I was under the impression that having both is better than one or the other.

Am I missing something?

(Just to confirm: Yes, I'm talking about Firefox VPN, not Mozilla VPN)

Sometimes, I need to let my computer run for a while without using it. This often means that I'll have Firefox open for hours at a time without anything happening.

I've noticed that almost every time after I come back to my computer after hours of inactivity with Firefox VPN turned on, I get the "Secure connection failed" error on EVERY website I try to access, including sites where I specifically disabled VPN for them.

If I try to turn off and turn on Firefox VPN, it fails to turn itself back on after five minutes of waiting. So when I restart Firefox, it's turned off, which is inconvenient since I have pinned tabs which I want the VPN turned on for.

And if I restart Firefox (with or without restarting the computer itself) without doing anything to Firefox VPN, which means the Firefox VPN is still ostensibly turned on when Firefox is shut down, then when Firefox opens again, Firefox VPN is... turned off. This is not the expected behavior, because if I restart Firefox with the VPN turned on without having had any site loading issues, then the VPN is still on when Firefox opens again.

Since Firefox VPN otherwise works fine for me, I'm just restarting Firefox more often now. But I feel like this isn't supposed to happen.

I have noticed in the last month or so a new phenomenon. I regularly need to access such platforms as Microsoft Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics. Previously with my FireFox VPN turned on I had no issues. Now I cannot access these sites unless I turn off the VPN. I think there was a FireFox update not long ago. Should I be experiencing this issue or is there a resolution to this problem?

The instructions for changing country in built in VPN do not work as after clicking on icon it states open VPN and nothing happens to open it. I am trying to set France as my country.

I would like to use built-in VPN and forward my traffice to Charles log. I enabled both by setting the proxy to Charles log. I found that nothing shown up in the Charles when VPN is on.

How can I do it?

i click the VPN button and sign in, it tells me i have signed in successfully and turn on with the open panel, but there is no open panel to turn it on it just loops back to me signing in

When I try to connect to a VPN, I get endless requests for authorization. I click start, select an account to log in to, and the authorization prompt appears again in the window.

Hi! I'm on my work computer; we use Chrome officially, but I've just downloaded Firefox specifically to use the VPN. When I click on 'Get started' on the 'Try Firefox's built.in VPN' button, it takes me to the sign-in page, and when I hit 'continue', it returns to the original screen and the 'Get started' button.

Please help!
