I was away from my desktop for a few months. During that time, I sent a number of tabs from Firefox on Android to my desktop. I've just logged into my desktop, updated Firefox, and synced, and 0 tabs came through. There were some errors in about:sync-log, which I don't see a way to attach, but here are some representative lines: 1662515573549 Sync.Status DEBUG Status.service: success.status_ok => error.login.failed 1662515586056 Sync.Telemetry ERROR Notification for engine tabs but it isn't current

Is there any way to get those tabs back?

I have Firefox v104.0.2 and am running a Windows 10 computer 64 bit. When attempting to log into my Edward Jones financial account, every item on the web page responds to me except secure login. It worked properly yesterday 9/5/2022. I restarted my computer, cleared cache, etc and I am running a VPN. When I could not login I contacted Edward Jones and they said that issue happens once in a while. I am able to get the site to work with a VPN and Chrome without issue. Why am I having problems on my Firefox browser? Any help would be appreciated.

All recent updates (i.e., Firefox 102, Firefox 103 and Firefox 104) crash every time that the browser is closed. The browser appears to continue running and then a crash report box appears on the screen. The only way to prevent this is to use Task Manager and manually stop Firefox.

I have tried disabling all my extensions but nothing seems to work. Here is the latest crash report ID .for your reference: bp-fd29a352-ed6a-4298-bae4-3a4ab0220907

I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad T450s laptop computer running Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), version 21H2, with an Intel i7-5600 CPU processor.

Hi.

we send a POST query in our web application, but this is aborted exactly after 60 seconds in Firefox. Our timeout for this query is set to 5 minutes. However, this error does not happen in other browsers! We also use ServiceWorker. The error "NS_ERROR_DOM_ABORT_ERR" is displayed in developer tools.

We have also changed all the timeout settings under about:config. But without success!

What do we have to do so that the query doesn't always abort after 60 seconds?

Thank you and best regards

Why doesn't the IRS login website work with Firefox?

Specifically, if you say you forgot your password you cannot select a state. The drop down menu just keeps loading.

Works fine in other browsers. Pretty fundamental flaw here - if government tax websites do not function with a browser that is intended to facilitate an open internet that is about as much of a fundamental problem as we can get to.

Hey!I was looking for a solution to a persistent bug I've been encountering. Whenever I try to login to my school email from microsoft outlook -> university sso, the request basically hangs where nothing ends up loading and I'm stuck on a white screen. Its fixed by clearing the cache for microsoft office and outlook, but it has happened several time in the last week which is really annoying. Its weird since it is happening on both my desktop and laptop and not on any other browser. I just migrated my laptop to firefox this last week and I don't remember my desktop having this issue until last week either even though I've had firefox on it for the last 6 months. Does anyone have a clue what could be the issue?

I have patiently followed all the instructions I have found on the Microsoft community, as I thought is was a Windows 10 issue at first. I then tried following all the instructions on the Mozilla forum I have spent the past 3 evenings (time wasted) uninstalling, re-installing and following all the instructions I can find. I have downloaded the intel investigative tool and lap top has had every diagnostic check I am capable of doing. I uninstalled my McAfee and re installed. I am now at the stage that after years of using Firefox I am about to take it off my PC, laptop and phone. This is the latest of the masses of crash reports I have submitted. Means nothing to me rash

ID: bp-1cc1ed99-f38d-4fc9-bd4b-8fae70220907

I can open the full report for about 3 seconds in Firefox so cant take a copy If anyone can help Before I say good bye to my Favourite Browser.

I'm repeatedly having an issue where if I use the scroll bar to scroll up quickly my firefox closes, but it doesn't get reported as a crash. If I immediately try to open firefox again it tells me the old one is still running but not responding so I have to click close to open a new session. This has been happening for weeks now.

I considered that maybe there's some kind of interaction with the exit button since it is above the scroll bar and this only happens when I try to scroll up fast and far, but I've not been able to recreate this issue manually, releasing right click doesn't close the browser even if I hover over the x so I have no explanation on why this happens.

Please help, thanks.

I fear I will use the wrong terminology -- computers are absolutely not my specialty. I have OneTab and I LOVE it! I still have the OneTab icon/link on the top LEFT of my screen. Clicking that drops down a list of sites that I can load. But the identical icon/link that used to appear on the top RIGHT side of the screen is gone. I was able to click this when I was shutting down my system. Clicking it would close the open sites and put them in the list I can access on the left. (I told you I don't know the right names for things. Sorry!!!) I can't use OneTab without that right-side icon/link. I also lost the 1Password icon/link. How do I get these back? I still have the Pocket icon/link, the download arrow, the Firefox account icon, and the "hamburger" on the right, but I really want the OneTab and 1Password clickable icon/links. Simple instructions, please! Thank you!

Currently on Firefox 104.0.1, but I updated it trying to fix this problem. I had 98 or something before.

When I am on any merchant site and I choose their pay by PayPal button, a PayPal pop-up window opens, saying I am recognized on this computer, but then it never finishes loading to the payment options. Actually, I see the options there, but they are greyed out and very blurry, so I cannot make them out and select any of them does not work either.

I have deleted cookies multiple times; ensured paypal.com is allowed pop-ups as well as the merchant websites. I upgraded Firefox. I only have one add-on listed, Amazon Assistant, and I had this problem before I installed it. I have tried every solution I can find on line, although all postings are at least a year old or older, but nothing has worked.

I use to be able to get it to finish loading if I closed the pop-up and reopened it and refreshed the merchant page, but that is no longer working.

It worked on Edge. I hate Edge.

Firefox, please help fix this!

Greetings, Lately at v104 onwards the Youtube video sound is muffled, I've tried several solutions that are frequently the source of issue like hardware issue(tried a pair of brand new headphones), volume mixer is at the same level of system and everything else other than Firefox sounds reasonably loud, driver reinstallation, removed cache and preference etc.

Last I checked with other browsers for instance Chrome and Edge which are Chromium based and compared both with the same videos but they do not have this issue, so I can confidently say this is Firefox's issue. Hopefully this can be solved.

PS: I did saw one of the older bug tracker forum 3 years ago did mention something like force video to run a different encoder that isn't AV01 in about:config , I did not attempt it as I found it uncomfortable to edit and potentially break my browser.

I see others have asked this question, but Firefox responders suggest solutions which have nothing to do with the problem. The problem isn't with Wix or website designers who use this service.

There is no slowness problem using Wix in the Chrome or Edge browsers. This means the problem is with the Firefox browser.

I have never had this slowness problem with Wix before recently, within the last month or so.

I ask you to consider that a recent Firefox update may be at fault.

Please fix this problem. I much prefer to use Firefox as my browser, but if I have to switch to Chrome to use Wix, which plays a significant part in my work, I might as well change over to Chrome completely. That would be a shame, since I've been a Firefox user for many years.

I have a 25Mhz internet connection and my desktop is connected via WiFi. I am running Windows 10.

When I load Firefox and open a couple of web pages the internet connection speed as measured by Speedtest is steady around 25MHz. However after 5 or 10 minutes the speed drops to a much lower leve. The Speedtest display shows 25Mhz for a few seconds then drops to a low level – a different level on each test. The problem does not seem to be affected by what web pages I open.

Other applications in Windows 10 are also affected by the speed drop but if I close Firefox then other applications regain full speed. If I then re-load Firefox the same thing happens, initially full speed that after a few minutes the speed drops.

I have tried a different WiFi hardware and drivers but the problem still occurs.
