After upgrading to WordPress 6.9 I can no longer see icons in the text editor, even within the theme I'm using. Also, when a box is checked (e.g. "Category" when you've created a post), the box is highlighted but there is no checkmark and you can't select multiple categories. Same for ANY box, actually. I've attached screenshots.

These issues do not appear when using Chrome. Really annoying because Firefox is my default browser and now I will have to do my WordPress development using Chrome. I really hope there's a fix for this, either via WordPress or Firefox.

I get this from Microsoft 365 excel when opening an .xlsx file: "Unsupported Browser Office uses new browser technology and works best in the latest browsers. Please upgrade your browser"

Why?

Based on what I have submitted previously and the number of similart issues posted here, Firefox support needs to get itself moving and find the source of the problem.

Bestbuy.com and amazon are 2 sites affected--there are others. If I delete all the cache, they suddenly fully load.

Most likely will move to chrome, which I detest, because it doesn't have these problems. If Firefox ever fixes the problem, I would come back.

the Shaw webmail opens correctly, and it lists all the email messages. But when I click on an email it opens only the header of the email but there is no content of the email showing. I've checked with Shaw and the problem is with Firefox. I tried signing in to Shaw webmail using a different browser and it worked fine.

We have a URL that is linked from various sites within our institution. For two of the sites that link this URL, it works fine in all browsers. One uses 'http' in their url and the other uses 'https' in their url. Our web server automatically updates to https either way. For two other sites that link this url it works fine everywhere but Firefox. In Firefox it gives 'The page isn't redirecting properly' error. If you click in the URL and then refresh, the site will reload properly. It's only when accessed via the link on the outside pages. This is happening to anyone that tries to access it, so individual browser/cookie settings don't seem to be the culprit. I've cleared the cache, checked my privacy setting, and tried other options I've been able to find online. Any ideas??

Just a week or so ago I could no longer login to Vanguard using firefox unless private version was used. THis happens on any product where firefox is default browser-Windows, Android and MAC all give a login/password error and nothing shown in the previous fixes work. Cache, troubleshoot mode, extensions and the other stuff have no effect on access. I can use Chrome and edge (both of which I hate) with no problem.

I have two computers both with Windows 11 and Firefox is synced. On one computer the Capital One website works perfectly with no problems but on the other I can't get details of credit card charges and I often get messages like oops something went wrong. On that computer the site works perfectly when I use Chrome to access it. Any ideas?

The last time Firefox updated my Etsy Dashboard would no longer connect. None of the screens I need for my shop would work. Etsy support had me clear my cache and I even did a refresh of Firefox but it still would not work. Etsy's conclusion was it had to be a Firefox issue and they could not help. I had to switch to Chrome to continue working. At some point the issue went away and Etsy's dashboard was working again. Now, after the most recent update it immediately was no longer working again and I am forced to use a different browser. What could be causing this issue related to the updates?

I just bought new PC and switched to win11(never happened on win10). Videos stutter when on 2nd monitor and game is open on first, but audio doesn't. Problem goes away immediately when clicking to the firefox window. Happens on both youtube and twitch, but not on Nebula.tv and not on chrome. Doesn't happen if the video is 480p, but does on 720 and 1080 and both of them are 60fps which might be something. Also doesn't happen if the game is windowed, but does on fullscreen and borderless.

I've disabled hardware acceleration (in windows and browser). I've tried setting both monitors to 60hz, setting firefox priority to high (and game to low), disabling effiency mode, setting power mode to performance and tried a lot of other things including about:config settings. Also ruled out extensions.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X GPU: RTX5070 1st monitor: 180hz 2nd: 80hz

About a year ago, I think, after an update I couldnt copy a chat into LibreWriter that included the name of the chatter.

Disappointed, I found Brave browser that does copy all within the chat window.

The thing is is Brave is unreliable, and often the chat locks up after an couple hours unless it is regularly checked -I stick with Firefox for my involvement, using Brave to record only because it lags while typing, sometimes so badly a whole sentence can be typed before it appears on screen.

Can you restore the code that allowed the name of the chatter in Rumble chats to be copied like Firefox used to?

I can't get to OpelGT.com. It is a car site that I moderate and visit frequently. I just get "waiting" or other messages if I use the link on the Firefox start screen. I can get to all other websites I normally visit with no problems(CNN, various Facebook groups and pages, Amazon, etc.). This problem started around the last few days of November. I CAN get to OpelGT.com using Microsoft Edge with no troubles.

I use Linux mint and Firefox on all my computers a week ago I started to get errors on the Kroger's website. Today I used my laptop computer which has not been updated for several months and that Firefox works fine with the Kroger's website. Firefox updates has created problems with Kroger's website. How do I tell Firefox creators about this?

I'm sorry to be asking this question again, but my previous thread was locked without my being given an opportunity to respond. The question was this:

I have Bing as my homepage, but on one computer I have a very annoying problem. I click on the settings to turn off 'Show news and interests' and 'Show trending on Bing', but the next time I come back to the homepage these settings have turned themselves back on. What do I have to do to retain these settings?

Denys responded to say it was a feature introduced by an extension. I'm not sure what gave this impression; I'm simply going to the Bing homepage (www.bing.com). I do have extensions installed, but I have turned them all off for this page just in case it was one of these that was causing the issue. If you click on the hamburger menu at the top right of this page you have an option to disable 'Show trending' and 'Show news etc', but as soon as the page is refreshed the news and trending, which appear at the bottom of the page, reappear. It's as if Firefox isn't saving the cookies, and yet it clearly is.

First noticed when listening to music on YouTube while playing a game: After a few songs, video would stop, shortly followed by audio (Every few minutes it might play less than a second of audio). Somewhere along the line any interaction with YT itself or even the tab stop working. All other tabs work fine.

Firefox doesn't ever crash, and I can't see anything weird when using a process viewer (I'm not too familiar with Linux diagnostic tools).

So far I've tried:

• Disabling Extensions
• Clearing cache
• Uninstall Firefox
• Multiple Proton games through Steam
• Game running through Wine
• Updated OS

I've tested with Chrome, which had no issues.

I don't recall messing with anything at the time (I did change some settings in firefox, but I think that was a few days before the issue started).
