I have poor vision and have enlarge text with Ctrl + and when I put in text in the search box, the text move to the small address bar, and I can't see what I type :( . Can I stop this unneccssary behavior?

Hi, while looking to remove unused files I found two different versions, version 127.0 dated 12/24 and 134.0.1 dated 01/25, can I safely remove the older version ? thanks for any advice.

i have dual monitor. i have fire fox shortcut tab on both side of screens. when i hover on left of right screen , it shows tabs preview for both screens. this has become confusing for me. i need to see them seprate. so if i hover on fire fox logo either right or left screen i need to only see that side of preview. can you tell me where and how to do this setup.

My Bookmarks in 134.0.1 Firefox Release January 14, 2025 V have disappeared to about 80% in the side and in the toolbar and cannot be changed: i.e. I tried to import a brand new working JSON file - it is not possible to restore! It is neither possible now to edit the toolbars. My OS is Win11 Pro from Win 10. Please advise a.s.a.p. Thank you.

Is there an option somewhere for eye strain and if so where is it? For some reason every website has always looked like it's stuck in that setting where it reduces blue light to help your eyes, and as someone who develops games having the wrong colors has been a bit annoying.

Sessionstore.jsonlz4 does not contain the current tabs, so where are they? After losing all of my tabs I copied the sessionstore-backups. They were quite large. Obviously they must contain my lost tabs. But now the current sessionstore.jsonlz4 has the very same large size. However, the lost tabs do not show up when Firefox is launched! And yet the few tabs – I’ve tried one, two, and three – that were open when Firefox is closed do show up. And the large size of each “new” sessionstore.jsonlz4 does not change at all! BTW I have tried inserting each one of the backups and nothing changes. The current tab or tabs shows up, but not the lost tabs. What is going on?

have a MacBook Pro early 2011, i updated the browser, due to system limitations, i am unable to open new Firefox browser. I need to access bookmarks from old Firefox browser. Can not access due to not being able to access new Firefox browser on MacBook Pro Please help me to access the bookmarks from old browser

I recently had to buy two new laptops. I loaded FF but now I have no bookmarks on the address bar. Ive read many of the support articles but can't find anyway to revert back to the far more useful version (the one that worked before). This is causing many other problems on trying to load Windows 11 on the two and then try to load Firefox.

I saw a notice on this 3rd laptop )that hasn't been downgraded to the latest version) this is the beta version. Frankly. when I found the problem originally I thought I had a virus or Trojan on my system. I need the bookmarks easily accessed since I use them constantly to visit the sites most important to my work.

If this is Beta then you have one very irate user that it simply changed most of Firefox's settings without notice or recourse. So my question is simply this: is there a way to reload FF on these two new units with the vastly superior previous versions? PLEASE give users the original settings so that they can choose which they need.

When I log into a particular website, two user names appear just below the user name box, one of them is incorrect, the other one is correct. The correct one is stored in Firefox settings, the incorrect one is not stored there. Where could it possible be stored in Firefox so I can delete it. The fact that it is shown on the log in page of this website requires the website people to make me change my password every week. They say I must do that for security reasons because I have two usernames showing when I log in, and that I must remove the one that is incorrect. They they won't make me make a new password every week.

Hi, with Debian 12 every time I open Firefox ESR (128.6.0esr) in background opens a terminal window (seems to be a kind of log actions) This terminal if i close it terminates the Firefox too. I could not find an explanation of this behavior in the internet. Thankful for Your advice to get rid of this problem.

My tabs in Firefox have been VERY reliable for years. Whenever i shut down, or put the computer to sleep - the tabs were almost always there when i re-opened. Last night i closed my computer lid (ie, sleep, not shut down) and this morning, when I opened it all my tabs were gone and there is nothing available under my history menu to restore closed tabs or windows. I do have tabs from my other synced computer - but not from this. I also tried logging out and logging in - with no result.

Is this is a dead duck or is there a chance to still restore my tens of tabs i had open?

Hello I have problem with my account and copies of bookparks and passwords. I have account, and i had synhronizated all of my bookmarks and password. Unfortunatly i had problem with my coputer and i must reinstall the oparating system (Windows). After that, I logged again but I don't have any copies of bookmarks nad passwords. Is it possible to get a coppy of my old account (before 13.01) if you have it on your servers ?

Why the hell do I have yahoo (piece of shit) as a search engine in stead of google? I am seriously considering getting rid of you guys and going with google chrome where I can get some decent searches done.

How do I get my homepage back to the normal 'recent activity' page layout with most used links at the top? I am not 4 years old, I don't need big pictures. I need a list of my regular sites in order of use in a legible font-size (forget the pix) that fit neatly on the screen so I don't have to go scrolling. Is that too much to ask?
