Attempting to edit currently saved credit card information does not work.

Steps to reproduce: Navigate to "Privacy & Security" in Settings (about:preferences#privacy) Scroll down to "Forms and Autofill" Click "Saved Credit Cards..." button Click on saved credit card info to select a card -Observe: Selected line item highlights blue Click "Edit..." button

Result: Nothing happens. "Edit..." button darkens and lightens to show that the UI element is active, it just doesn't produce any result. Selected credit card line item highlight changes from blue to grey. Clicking "Edit..." button again does nothing. User cannot edit saved credit card info. "Add..." button presents a new modal when clicked, but "Edit..." has no result.

I've had this issue for a while; I'm don't know what's causing it, as it's a very vague error that can be 'missing extension' to 'true needs to be 0xFF instead of 1 for bool values'.

I grabbed the source, and built a copy, and was stepping through accessing a custom built chain; I got a different error, this time I got SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER. Which just means I didn't add the root cert to firefox(?) Yes, after adding the root, it connects just fine. Which lead me to think 'great next firefox it won't be an issue'... but wait, 107.0.1 release does have the error still; so, I checked out FIREFOX_107_0_1_RELEASE and built that. Again it worked....

So what can be the difference between building a debug release branch version and the released version of firefox that causes a difference interpreting certificates?

I have no issues with chrome or edge (although I did fix a issue with chrome that chrome stopped working, and I fixed 1 to 0xFF for a boolean setting in BASIC_USAGE extension, and then chrome was happy again.

https://bingodemos.com/ as it is currently configured fails. With SEC_ERROR_EXTENSION_VALUE_INVALID error I don't see a way to even see the cert chain, with the above unknown issuer, I can at least see the certificates with more information.

Hi, Since I updated Firefox to 107.0.1 there is a weird glitch... Although all my passwords are indeed saved, they do not appear when I call up preferences/Privacy & Security/ and click on "Saved Logins..." to display them.

In a way it's secure that they don't appear... but I often need to look up a password when I am using another device to log into a site. Is there some setting I am overlooking? When I click on Saved Logins, the entire page under "about:logins" is empty. Just the bars at the top to search, and a big empty list under "Sort by: Name A-Z"

Please help! I hoped that the glitch would be fixed in an update, but I do get nervous thinking that I might lose all saved logins...

I'm on a Mac, os Big Sur 11.7.1 (20G918)

Thanks! Glenn Dochtermann

For weeks I've been trying to file an IRS form one on this official site: https://bsaefiling.fincen.treas.gov/NoRegFBARFiler.html or this one: https://bsaefiling1.fincen.treas.gov/lc/content/xfaforms/profiles/htmldefault.html

The IRS recommends using Firefox but I continually get error messages saying "We can't connect to the server." Or that I am using an "unsupported browser." I tried turning off the firewall, and it didn't work. I've tired using a MAC and PC and I get the same error message. Can anyone hellp?

Previously asked but issue was incorrectly closed.

Websites are able to determine my location even though I have permissions access set to blocked in Settings. Seems to have happened in version 108 updates. Does it on https://www.oreillyauto.com and also Autozone.com. After navigating to the website, the nearest store will autopopulate, which in the past I always had to manually put in a zip code if I got to the point of selecting a store. Cache is clear when I first go to these websites.

You can see from screenshot that the store autopopulated with me doing nothing.

I have Block New Requests for location checked in settings, so why is this happening?

Hello,

with Fusion360 one can share a link to a design by creating a share, which form is something like https://a360.co/XXXXX

However, if multiple share links are created, firefox password manager cuts the link to https://a360.co/ and saves the password to it. If a second or multiple links are created with Fusion

https://a360.co/XXXXX1 https://a360.co/XXXXX2 https://a360.co/XXXXX3 https://a360.co/XXXXX4 ... it always saves the password over the https://a360.co

Bookmarks work correctly, but password saving doesn't. Any way to solve this?

Although I can get the "Saved Credit Cards" box on my screen, showing my saved cards, only the "Add" button is highlighted - I'm not able to select either the "Edit" or "Remove" boxes which are greyed out. I can select/highlight any card shown in my list, but can do nothing with them! I'm wondering if the fact that I have deliberately avoided updating Firefox for weeks now has anything to do with this? When I enabled the last update (a few weeks ago) the header rows including the bookmarks row, the web page search box, and the open windows row, all came up as way too large, and I couldn't adjust them back to normal size, so I've been declining the update ever since. Would/should this affect the ability to delete my saved credit cards?

Recently updated firefox -- previously passwords were saved even though I did not have a firefox account (not sync'd).

After update, password info is gone -- ok. Followed instructions to set up an account with sync'ing.

Now when I log in to a website I am asked if I want to save the password (I do!) so I "save" it.

However when I go back to that site the password isn't saved. If I look at my saved passwords there are none.

If I go to preferences and add passwords to sync that option disappears after a little while.

What other settings might be preventing passwords from saving?

I'm running linux and firefox 91

While it is possible that some other software is blocking the passwords, the fact that the issue corresponded to my firefox update inclines me to believe it is a firefox issue.

Something VERY strange happened to me tonight (using Firefox Developer Edition 109.0b3).

I opened some piano sheet music I'd never seen, by a composer whose work I'd never played, and whose name I'd never, ever searched for online.

As I often do, before trying the piece, I thought I'd see if people had already posted recordings of it. So in FF's address bar, I typed yt (my search keyword for YouTube), the composer's last name, and the piece's name in quotes.

This YouTube search-results page appeared (see screenshot), with a list of recordings of that particular music by that composer... Normal, right?

But when I right-clicked one of the results and clicked "Open Link in New Tab", the new tab told me I wasn't online. And indeed, I'd forgotten to turn my PC's WiFi adapter on.

How is it possible FF had already cached all this info—including thumbnail images—based on a search I'd never done?

Yes, I've looked up other composers' music... But does this mean FF has cached links related to every possible YouTube search for every piece by every composer?? Or is it some particularly creepy kind of privacy invasion?

Tech note: In about:config, I'd turned off network.prefetch-next but not network.predictor.enable-prefetch —could that have something to do with it? (Both are turned off now.)

Thanks for your theories! Baffledly, A.

I think I got phished.

Mac OS 13.0.1 A couple weeks ago I received an email from Disney+ that contained a verification code to access my account. But I wasn't trying to access my account so I clicked on the link that said 'what to do if you didn't request this.' However that link took me to the Disney+ general help page. I searched their help section but couldn't find anything relevant. So I assumed everything was ok and went back to work.

Later I noticed that all of our Disney+ profiles had been removed and replaced by new ones. I immediately changed the password to my Disney+ account and to my email account. I deleted the profiles created by the hacker and created new ones. I logged out all devices from Disney+. Thought I was good at this point.

Days later I noticed that someone had created another new Disney+ profile which suggests that someone still has access to my account. How could that be? I've tried communicating with Disney+ support staff. This was not helpful. They just say to change the password again. But that didn't solve the problem.

I was about to try contacting Disney+ support again so I went to fill out the information to start the chat session. I noticed 1 bogus email saved in the autofill of the email address field. This would seem to imply that someone has access to my computer and has been chatting directly with Disney+. I downloaded Virus Barrier virus scan but it didn't find anything. Then I went back to the Disney+ chat screen and there were already 2 more bogus emails saved in the autofill. So... is someone using even more email addresses to communicate with Disney+ in the 15 minutes since I detected this?

I went back to the Disney+ email I received and realized that the link I clicked on was suspicious. So I'm suspecting that it did something, then redirected to Disney+ support so I wouldn't suspect anything. Now I'm concerned that someone may have gained access to my computer. But I have no idea how to determine that. I've been on with Apple support for over an hour and they keep insisting that its not possible. And b/c the problem appeared in Firefox that they can't help me.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
