Hello, I recently migrated from chrome and have had no issues except when trying to save passwords. Every time I visit a site, I get the prompt to save a password and I click "save" but it never actually does. I went into settings and made sure all the save login/password options are selected, and they are, but still nothing. Please advise. Thank you.

Dear Firefox, I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with your software's recent repeated crashes and failures on my Mac after installing Kaspersky. Before this, the app was performing properly. I'm not sure if the problem is related to Kaspersky. Please address this matter as quickly as possible.

This morning on this Mac Monterey I had so much trouble accessing the Etsy site that I had to get on my newer Windows 10. In this browser, I opened a tab and a popup occurred that advised me to download an addon for safe browsing. After backing out I tried again to get to Etsy when more popups occurred, with audio, freezing the system to where I had to use the power button. A woman's voice said that I was going to a malicious site, and in the lower right corner gave the Apple telephone number. Underneath the popups the Apple site shown, which may have been counterfeit. I emailed Etsy from my Windows 10 about this. Is there any validity to this; or is somebody making a strong sales pitch to get me to download something under the guise of security? Under Windows 10 I used Firefox and the problem did not occur.

I am not able to login to www.wolfram.com using FireFox. The same behavior is observed on both an Apple (M2) or Windows11 machines. I have tried, as suggested, to clear the web history but that did no help. For what is worth, contacting Wolfram Research indicated that the problem is on my side as they were able to use FireFox with no problem. Also to note, Both Safari (Apple M2) and Edge (Windows 11) work just fine. Fulvio

With the lastest update to 110.0 on my Macbook, almost all attempts to open a link in a new tab get the message "Grrr! A popup blocker may be preventing the application from opening the page. If you have a popup blocker, try disabling it to open the window." This happens especially with gmail.com, which always seems to get this rejection message, even for a message that I sent to myself and I know doesn't contain any popups (when I sent it;-). I've looked through my settings, and don't seem to find any mention of a popup blocker, and I don't remember installing one. Is there a way to fix this?

On Mac OS is there a way to stop the drop down menu bar from appearing while in full screen whenever you move the mouse to the top of the screen? When I switch between tabs that action is often triggered which is distracting.

Starting some weeks ago, I've been having a problem where scrolling with my Mac trackpad suddenly stops working, in a specific Firefox window. It started happening in Firefox 108 (I think), but I don't know whether it's connected to that version of Firefox, or something else. I use the release channel, so now I'm on 110, and it still happens. Using the latest macOS.

Scrolling continues to work in other Firefox windows. It happens once a day or so. I can't find any way to reproduce it manually, or narrow down any particular condition or website that triggers it. The only way I've found to rectify it, is to quit Firefox and re-open it, or else move all the tabs from that window to a new window.

I don't know what else to do to troubleshoot. It's possible it's connected to some extension, but since it happens so rarely, I can't go through and disable each extension to see if it's the cause. I don't see anything in the browser console window that seems relevant. I can't find any bug reports in Bugzilla.

Scrolling is disabled for web pages in all tabs in the window, as well as the sidebar that I use with Tree Style Tab. When I try to scroll, I can see the scroll bar appear on the right, as though it's trying to scroll, but it won't move. I can still move down the page with the spacebar or arrow keys.

I've changed the following settings in about:config to "force" the option to appear, based on previous forum answers but nothing is showing up:

'extensions.formautofill.available = on' 'extensions.formautofill.available = true' 'dom.forms.autocomplete.formautofill = true' (though it switches back to false whenever i restart firefox)

Why is this not working? What else am I missing? I'm not on a nightly build.

Hey guys! I work for a chiropractic office that requires a chiropractic software and it can only be downloaded through the firefox ESR web browser. I've done this many times on our older mac but we just purchased a much newer one for the office. Every time I try to download it on the new one there is just an invisible box that comes up once I open it. No way for me to use it. I've done this 6 or 7 times and it's the same outcome every time. I contacted Apple to see if it was on their end but they said to mention to Firefox support that I have the M1 chip on this computer and to ask for a link from you guys that supports that chip. The chiropractic software is very particular on what browser I can download on. Thanks for the help, guys!

Why are YouTube videos not showing? Neither by a provided link or the YouTube home page. They show on Safari.

I received a new Mac computer at work and cannot sync my Firefox account. When I attempt to sync, I receive the message "Blocked by Content Security Policy". How can I sync my account?

Up to a few weeks ago I worked on a Mac with macOS Monterey where I had set Firefox GA and Developer Edition to open both at login; it worked for years as expected. Now, I just moved to a Mac with macOS Ventura and it seems that‘s no longer possible? I can only set one or the other, but not both, to open at login. Trying to add the second results in no change, either if it is with the app‘s Dock menu or the “Startup items” list in System Preferences. I completely removed and reinstalled both Firefox with no change.

This feels like a bug, but I‘m not sure. Anyone has any ideas? Thanks!

Help! I run Firefox on an Intel Mac running OS 13.2.1. I updated Firefox today (V100.0) and lost all my existing open tabs. I tried to restore the previous session multiple times, but could not access any recently closed tabs. Frustrated, I attempted to bring them back by deleting my current version of Firefox and then copying in an older version of Firefox from my Time Machine backup. Now I've lost all my bookmarks and other settings as well. How to I get back as much of the old "stuff" as possible? Thanks.

I recently updated my Firefox and it cleaned out my entire history of websites I have visited along with sessions I had open. Utilizing the "Restore previous sessions" tab doesn't have anything in it, so am wondering if their is a backup file of websites/sessions that I could load that might have been created (I'm on a Macbook). Would love some advice on this - thanks!

I'm developing a firefox extension and run into the problem that all requests I can make are made by the containerless account. I'd like the user to select, which account container should be used when using my extension. Is there a way to do that?
