I am constantly having problems with c-span.org and ChildrensHealthdefense.org. The JavaScript keeps changing with errors, on the CHD website. On c-span there is a pause and start going on. I have to click the shield on the left of the URL and report it.

Also, Apple sync the home devices into my computer the and I cannot delete them from my computer. I have Airplay Off. It is affecting my TV and iPhone because Apple controls my devices. System Preference send an update to update Safari and I when I updated, it embedded a Malicious malware app on my Desktop Dock and a pop-up on the Desktop right side that I see everyday.

Hi there,

apologies if this is not the right forum for a developer question, but Bugzilla didn't fell quite right in my case.

I'm developing a video streaming application that has to work with a custom streaming protocol. I already have an implementation using VideoDecoder and Insertable Streams that works in Chrome. Encoded VPX frames are being efficiently decoded and piped into an HTMLVideoElement via the MediaStreamTrack API. My understanding is that Firefox will soon have support for VideoDecoder (you can already enable it as an experimental feature and it works fine), but insertable streams is something that Firefox will not implement because it favors RTCRtpScriptTransform. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Could you point me to a way how to efficiently get a VideoFrame that I got from a VideoDecoder into an HTMLVideoElement without a MediaStreamTrackGenerator (part of the insertable streams API which Firefox will not implement)? I've already tried:

  • drawing to a canvas (instead of video element)
  • wrapping the (still encoded) vpx frames in a WebM container and using it with a MediaSource SourceBuffer (with a video element)

Both attempts worked in Firefox, but performance was nowhere near the Insertable Streams way.

The VideoDecoders work very well in both Chrome and Firefox (with WebCodecs API enabled) according to my benchmarks. It's really just the matter of getting the decoded frame displayed where I can't find an efficient solution for Firefox.

Thanks a lot in advance!

If this is the wrong forum, could you please refer me to a more appropriate place?

Despite reading support guides, Searches, nothing works. In the Firefox settings - make default provides pop up that does not action change when Firefox is selected. The reason for pursuing this ? clicking hyperlinks opens Safari on my iMac and not Firefox.

Safari is very slow to open, freezes anything else I'm doing and I simply want the links to open in Firefox. Are there any actual solutions that work? cheers

I've been using a third party window manager on iOS and have shortcuts assigned to resize and reposition windows. Recently I've noticed that the behavior for Firefox is significantly different and my initial guess is that something in Firefox is intercepting my shortcuts and resizing my windows instead allowing my window manager to handle it. For reference, the shortcuts I have for my third party window manager are listed below and result in different behavior when focused on Firefox compared to other applications:

  • Position window left: `Cmd + Ctrl + H`
  • Position window right: `Cmd + Ctrl + L`
  • Position window center: `Cmd + Ctrl + M`

Is there a way to disable this?

Hello,

Safari has a menu option to "Close All Windows" (Command, alt W).

I am curious to know why Firefox doesn't.

The only way to close-all that I am aware of, is to quit Firefox and restart. Very frustrating!

There are sub-menu functions for individual tabs and such, but no simple way to clear the browser.

(I'm on Mac OS Sonoma)

Thanks

Trying to save a web page as a PDF to Evernote; error message Can't tell if this is an Evernote problem or a Firefox problem. 1. Click the "Print" button on the web page. 2. Scroll down to "print using system dialog". 3. Click the "PDF" button and scroll down to "Save PDF to Evernote". Error message appears: "error running print workflow". I've used this function many times before and it has worked with no problems. (I tried the "Mail PDF with Postbox" option on the PDF menu and it works.)

I'm currently looking for a job, and I keep my windows separated by category, so I have one that is job search related, and the other that is more general. In my job search window, I have many tabs open for different job postings that I want to hang on to /keep track of. When I want to jump to one of these tabs, I open a new tab and type in whatever its title would be, and then when it pops up in my history I click the "Switch to tab" shortcut to get to it. I find it saves time as opposed to sifting through 50 tabs. In this case, I was trying to find a tab that was opened to a sales job posting, and I clicked switch to tab. However, it took me to a what I think is an entirely separate window, one that I didn't even have open previously, and my jobs window disappeared. I tried to reopen it in History, but it didn't show up. Does anyone know what might have happened here, and how I can recover that window?

On my MacBookAir (M2) audio on a lot of sites is out off sync (Imgur, X) but not on YouTube or streaming services (netflix and others). I restarted FF in save mode: no improvement. FF is up to date. OSX is up to date.

If I open a website in Safari there is no problem: audio/video perfectly in sync; gifs on Imgur.com for instance.

Not sure but on my MacBookPro (Intel) there was no such a problem.

Suggestions?

Hello Firefox Community,

I'm reaching out because I've encountered an issue while trying to install an add-on on Gmail, and I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me out. The issue happens with any add-on, but the one I wanted to install is (https://workspace.google.com/u/0/marketplace/app/todoist_for_gmail/815972520808)

When trying to install an add-on, I get directed through to give the add-on permissions and I get thrown to the following error 400 each time (see screenshots). I've already tried a few troubleshooting steps, such as clearing my browser cache and cookies, disabling other add-ons/extensions, and even restarting my browser, but unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the issue.

I'm sure this problem is a more general issue with Firefox. I reached out go Google and they could not help and the installation was successful on Chrome. I also tried installing other add-ons and a similar problem occurs. If anyone else has experienced a similar problem or has any suggestions for troubleshooting steps I can try, I would greatly appreciate your insights.

Additionally, if there's any specific information or logs I should provide to help diagnose the issue further, please let me know, and I'll do my best to provide whatever is needed.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer!

Best regards, Kamil
