Each attempt to log in to my bank account, using Firefox browser straight up, results in an access denied refusal. If I go to Duckduckgo.com and search for my bank, I can access the bank account. I wonder if you have other complaints/comments to that effect, too. It is an aggravation and my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU), did not have a solution but suggested I contact Firefox direct.

All the bookmarks at the top of the Firefox page have suddenly disappeared from view. How do I get them back in view? They are still there if I look under "Bookmarks," but not as accessible.

Running Firefox 108 on Mac OS Mojave, version 10.14.6. I did nt make any recent changes.

Back when I used Chrome, there used to be an option when you could right-click a word and get an option in the context menu to "look up". In Firefox this doesn't seem to be the case. Is there a way to enable this? My Mac iOS updated and erased all my firefox bookmarks. I tried to log in and it created a new account instead of logging in to my firefox account. i need help recovering my saved bookmarks

Using online recommendations I was able to force the general theme to white, however individual segments of the FF UI still retain black (see the images). I want to whiten them too. I saw a heap of color related settings in about:config. I set one of them, layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override, to 1 but that had no effect on the appearance of the said elements.

When I try to access Amazon on Firefox the entire password box is already full and will not delete, very scary, I cannot now enter Amazon unless I dump Firefox as a browser and choose Safari or Chrome

Apple's built in spell checker on the Mac is unparalleled. Not only does it integrate with the native dictionary, it also automatically detects and switches languages as you type. Right-clicking on an unfamiliar word brings up the "look up" option which fins the word in the dictionary. It's furthermore smart enough to detect misspelled words which are correct words in another language. I don't know how apple achieved this, it's remarkable.

Anyway, Firefox displaces this functionality on the mac with their own dictionary, which although good, is not as good as the native spell checking and dictionary.

Is there a way to enable the native dictionary for Firefox on the Mac?

Hello, I am wanting to disable time out on Firefox because it keeps timing out before I can fulling download an ebook. When I enter about:config no page opens for me to be able to make the changes. Would appreciate some help with this please. [email removed from public] Thanks

There was a minor Windows update on my work Windows 11 Ent laptop which I did and it restarted after which FireFox doesn't launch.

I am sure my sys-admin did not restrict this.

Using Mac OS 10.14.6. Firefox updated 4/11 with #112. Cannot log into a site which I previous had no problems with. Message from the site states password not recognized. Cleared cookies, history, and cache. This occurs on both Mac computers. Safari works fine. I don't know if it's the site or latest update.

Have not been able to log on to a few sites (all financial base: bank etc) since approx April 2023 Have done all the dirty dozen: cache/update FF/reset/ disabled ad blocks etc.) and still no luck: had to revert back (after about 10 years) to safari (ugh) scoured back in archives for similar problems but found no answer. Does anyone have any idea? (i have not upgraded my mac os 10.14.06 and require itunes to remain) Thanks

I need to access Canvas as part of my school coursework. As of yesterday, Canvas refuses to load in Firefox. I've restarted my Mac, made sure Firefox is up to date, and tried running Canvas in Chrome, where it worked just fine. My internet connection is also stable. All other websites seem to be working in Firefox, but for some reason Canvas doesn't load after any amount of time and the interface appears as the attached image. Any help? Firefox is my preferred browser and I actually cannot do any online coursework without Canvas, so any suggestions or advice are very welcome.

Whenever I click on a web search link that goes to Facebook, my Firefox browser back button is cleared. This makes it impossible to go back to my original search easily.

When I remember and notice, I open link in new tab to retain my history.
This started happening several months ago and can be frustrating when doing deep searches.

 I hope there is a security setting I am missing that is allowing Facebook access to my browsing history!

Hello, I'd like to know how to change the DOM storage location to a USB flash drive so that I can have all my history and cookies and offline data stored on that flash drive. That way, I will always insert the USB drive prior to launching Mozilla firefox. Having to verify 2FA all the time is annoying as I always clear my history. I don't like leaving them on my PC anyway. I use a Macbook. Thanks.

Every time I enter a link to a google service, I see a notice that says "Your should be redirected in a moment..." and then I get redirected to the Stanford University website (https://pass.stanford.edu/signin.html). It is not a specific website redirecting me, but rather some algorithm is detecting a google link and sending me to Stanford University instead . For instance, if I paste in a link to a particular location in Google Maps, I will end up at Stanford instead. I have no idea how to fix this, but it makes me avoid Firefox and use Chrome because Chrome does not redirect. I would rather use Firefox.

I'm downloading a lot of images, and every time I do so a popup box appears showing the most recent five downloads and a button to show all downloads, It covers some of the icons I use for downloading images which is frustrating. If I right click on any of the downloads one of the options is to Clear Preview Panel, so I assumed it was called Preview Panel, but help does not know about that and I can't find how to stop it coming up (it used not to until I did something, I don't know what) It's driving me crazy.
