I used Chrome for ages, and migrated to Firefox. The spell check on Chrome has an option to give use the internet to offer suggestions on spelling corrections.

The option is now called "Enhanced Spell Check" and it states that it uses the same spell checker that's used in Google Search.

Something similar would be helpful in Firefox as the built in Spell Checker is rather lacking and seems to fail often on newer or more rarely used words. Sometimes it just completely fails.

For example: I wrote: "hipocritical" Firefox's suggestion: "theocracy" Chromes "enhanced" suggestion: 'hypocritical"

We are experiencing an issue with our web application... we do form action and iframe src changes dynamically with Javascript to redirect the user to different pages within our app.

We do so using relative paths, however although the website is loaded in HTTPS, "sometimes" when we do these changes in src, or action and then submit... Firefox seems to be changing the scheme protocol, from https to http, thus we are getting mixed content blocking.

But we are not really using mixed content... our calls do not include absolute URLs, so there should not be any mixed content issue.

This is an example of the change within the source of an iframe:

document.getElementById('piframe'+id).innerHTML='<iframe src="../fondo.html" id="ttab'+id+'" name="ttab'+id+'" width="100%" scrolling="auto" height="' + espacio_iframe+'" '+ scroll + ' frameborder="0"></iframe>'

And this is an example of what we do changing the action:

document.form1.action = '../'+url; document.form1.submit();

Both actions use relative paths... and both actions throw mixed content block.

This happens only with Firefox... what might be the cause?

Thanks for your help?

Hello Firefox Community,

I am a web developer, and I am writing to you regarding an issue I have encountered with the website "https://www.socialboothlv.com/". The problem I am facing is related to website responsiveness.

Upon reviewing the website, I noticed that it is not responsive to different screen sizes, particularly on mobile devices. This means that users accessing the site from their mobile devices may find it difficult to navigate and interact with the content. Are there any best practices or tools that I can use to improve the website's responsiveness?

Thank you for your help and support.

Firefox will not operate "check out" on various shopping sites; I have to switch to another browser to do so. I wrote a book review on Audible, clicked "preview" and landed on a mostly blank page. All I could do was submit the review I couldn't see and hope all the time I'd put in wasn't wasted. This kind of thing--blank pages, frozen pages--happens frequently and irregularly. There's no way of knowing in advance what will happen and where. I refresh, clear cookies and cache--nothing makes any difference. Am I supposed to stay permanently in Troubleshoot mode (and is that even possible?) to make Firefox work the way it used to? Using Windows 11, 64-bit system.

I loaded Firefox on a new laptop and then synced my account. When I went to my desktop, my homepage with all my shortcuts had been synced to the blank homepage of the new installation of Firefox on the laptop. How do I prevent this and how do I force Firefox to sync a certain home page on all installations? I have another notebook with my old home page and would like to force that home page across all installations.

Hi,

I always restore my previous tabs and windows when opening Mozilla, and until recently Mozilla always remembered my scroll location in those tabs, which is very handy because I read books online and otherwise have no idea where in the book I was. It recently stopped doing that though, and I haven't found a way to fix it after Googling a bit. Does anyone know how I can get back to how it was before?

Thanks very much in advance!!

I have https://account.firefox.com in my password manager with the appropriate username (my email address) and password. At attempted login I find I must always type (or paste) my username. Autofill by my password manager is not accepted as on all other websites. Upon having so entered the userid, the password manager may then autofill the password as if this were a first-time visit to the website. Further, the login process demands verification via code sent to my email address. This happens over and over. It occurs no matter which browser I use: Firefox or Safari. This is entirely inefficient and encourages me NOT to bother with the website whatsoever!

I use a website for school that utilizes two factor authentication through a base site that then logins you in on that browser for a set amount of time. The problem I have is that on my Macbook pro the log in will not log me out of some sites and then it will log me out of other sites but then no longer load the log in screen on the laptop. Even if I do log in and clear all my cookies. I have all my security turned off so it isn't cross site cookies or a firewall blocking the site from loading. Please help. The site does work completely fine on my windows PC so I do not know if it is a mac issue or a Firefox issue

Send button bug in some browsers in online Microsoft Teams (3/8/2023 version) Chat

When chatting in Online Microsoft Teams from the current Google or Firefox browsers, the "paper-airplane-icon" send button does nothing (only when trying to send a chat) at our Educational institution. Several people have tested this at two campuses.

Workarounds include (1) Access online Teams from Edge; (2) Use the Enter key to send the Chat message; or (3) use the Teams Desktop App.

The fact that the send icon doesn't work from current versions of both Firefox and Chrome make me suspect that Teams is not using Valid HTML/Javascript in the handling of this button.

Firefox 1101.0.1 didn't work. Chrome version 111.0.5563.65 (Official Build) (64-bit) doesn't work for any user. Chrome version 110.0.5481.178 (Official Build) (64-bit) didn't work for four users, but worked for one. Chrome version 104.0.5112.102 (Official Build) (64-bit) worked. (Couldn't find intermediate versions online).

Edge Version 110.0.1587.63 (Official build) (64-bit) works. Desktop Teams (365 for Business) Version 1.6.00.1381 (64-bit) works.

The Send button works in Online posting to a Teams Channel, just not in Teams Chat. I have posted this as a problem to both MS Teams and Chrome as well as here.
