Firefox startet aber immer mit "browser.services" !! (browser.services/?B=FH&id=20416)  !

Diese Seite wird von meinem Viren-Scanner Norton 360 aber als gefährlich eingestuft !! Wo und wie finde ich dieses Programm "browser.services" und wie kann ich es abstellen?!

I don't know which topic describes my question. I want to put the New York Times as a short cut on my firefox home page and it won't do it. For a bit of history, I USED to have the short cut and one day it was removed by Firefox when it re-arranged things.

So at one point Firefox asked me if I wanted to have Gmail on my desktop toolbar so I could open it without opening Firefox. Stupidly, I said, "Sure, sounds nice." Later, I realized I do not like this option because now when I open Firefox, it cannot open Gmail as the first tab that opens which is my preference. Now I open Firefox, and instead of opening my Gmail as the first thing I see, I only get to see the Gmail logo and loading screen which never fills, which never opens Gmail. And I want Firefox to open straight up into my Gmail page, I don't want to watch it try and fail. So I removed the desktop toolbar icon that Firefox made when it offered me. But that didn't fix anything. Still, now if I open Firefox, I just get Gmail loading bar, never filling, never showing me my nice page. Help!!

My Firefox shortcuts keep disappearing: this is an almost daily occurrence. Sometimes they re-appear later without any intervention, sometimes they re-appear after a reboot. Right now, after rebooting and 'fixing' Firefox from Control Panel, they are still missing. I have 4 rows configured for both shortcuts and recent sites, and had 'pinned' about 20 shortcuts. Currently on Windows 10, soon to upgrade to Windows 11.

Can someone PLEASE tell me if there is a fix available for this (will it be resolved in Win 11?), or if there is a way to easily save and restore these backups when this problem occurs.

The ability to have 32 shortcuts is the motivating reason for my using Firefox over Chrome or Edge (which only allow 8), but if they keep disappearing like this I'm going to have to re-think my browser selection.

Hello! Firefox doesn't load the designated starting page I listed. It starts on the general overview. I have this issue since the last update. Refreshing or deinstalling didn't fix the issue. The desired page is also listed as start page under about:config as starting page Thank you in advance for your help

I manually added shortcuts to my home screen, but everytime I open the browser, the system automatically has added shortcuts I don't want. Also, when I delete these unwanted shortcuts, another unwanted one appears.

how can I stop this from happening?

i tried everything in setting , nothing works these suggested shortcuts automatically attached to my home page i did deselect this feature in setting but still they pop up on my home page and the other problem is i am not able to search in my web search section on the home page what is that so ? why this isnt fixed yet ?

do not want a website as my home page - prefer Firefox default as I had before restart, however when I go to Settings, Home page is set to Firefox default but it does not work -- how else can I have my home page back to default. If you send my link I can probably drag it there hopefully. Thank you

All of the sudden Firefox no longer opening previous windows and tabs on startup, which is how I have had it set up forever.

The last few days, instead of opening previous windows and tabs when I launch FF, it opens mu Home Page. I then have to "reopen previously-closed windows " or "restore previous session."

Regardless of which I choose, I then have to manually close the first FF instance (the one with the single tab - my home page). Then when I'm done with my browser and I X out of it (or Exit" out), when I come back in the same thing happens - I'm presented with my home page, not my open tabs.
