Hi there.

This is my first post so bare with me.  :-)

We are deploying the 32-bit version of the Firefox Browser to 4 700 clients and the 64-bit version to only 8 clients; all clients on a 64-bit Windows 10 environment. We will migrate to Windows 11 22H2 this year. The manager for the 8 clients says he wants the 64-bits version just because it's...64-bits. No other reason.

I've read that the 64-bit version can not handle Java, Media Players like VLC and mayby some other plugins. Is that still so?

What is the main reason TODAY for using 64-bit Firefox Browser instead of 32-bit, except for the use of 4 GB+ RAM?

Trying to download nord vpn and is says "failed" tried to download a receipt for the purchase of above and it says "failed" the browser on Win 10 is set to save files to downloads

cant find how to add another account, every help thing i find seems to be outdated. i have multiple accounts i use on chrome, and want to move some to here, but i need help finding how

Firefox was lagging everywhere: scrolling, switching folders in bookmarks, switching windows, switching tabs, opening settings, scrolling in settings...just everywhere. So I tried downgrading to v. 113. After downgrading via the ling in settings it still showed v. 114. I uninstalled firefox entirely and downloaded the loader for v 112. I installed it and it went thru whole install process to the point of asking to close and start Firefox. It didn't start. When I clicked on the icon it gave me a prompt that it didn't point to anything and asked if I wanted to delete it. I looked in program files folder but didn't find a folder for Firefox or Mozilla. I installed the developer edition and it worked but I don't want dark dev ed. Please help!

I have trouble downloading the newest version because it says that Firefox has ended support for Windows 8 and Vista.

But I DO NOT USE THESE OLD VERSIONS - I DO USE WINDOWS 10 on this computer.

Could you please let me know how to fix this in plain english so I can easily do it myself - I am no computer wizzard.

Ok. The update downloaded 2 1/2 days ago. I've used Firefox since that download. It didn't install until now. 2 1/2 days later. Why the long delay? And why don't you have something show up in the banner or toolbar that designates that an upload to Firefox is happening? Now, we all have to guess why Firefox is behaving slow and erratic, close and re-open, and check for version.

I made a mistake and installed Firefox in the wrong location. I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall where I wanted the software to be.

The installer now tells me that I had Firefox before and will only reinstall it in the previous directory. No other option is offered.

I am LONG used to being deprived of user choice by the likes of Microsoft or Apple, but Mozilla SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

See pix. I have my PC set to NOT auto update, yet it still does. Every time you guys post an update (which is super frequent) it locks up my PC for an hour or more! I have to restart it several times before it reconnects to the internet.

Firefox bookmarks exported from old Windows PC to html file. File transferred to new Windows PC and imported into Firefox. 'Bookmarks Imported Successfully' message seen. However no bookmarks visible in Firefox bookmark menu. Suggestions please?

MY Windows 11 laptop crashed and OS may need to be reinstalled. Will this wipe out my Firefox browser bookmarks. I would like to save the bookmarks somehow. How do I do this without access to that system?

New computer (Windows 11) shows 'Old Firefox Data'. Opened hidden files. Using File Explorer found Profile Folder & renamed it 'old'. Copied and pasted 'Old Firefox Data' as new profile. Firefox would not open. Had to remove etc and Firefox worked again. Thought this maybe the easiest way to get my Bookmarks back.

PS Presume Profile Folder does not contain Thunderbird Addresses?

i have been using Tor.browser as my default web browser on Macbook for months. Firefox is my 2nd, but two days ago, i was kicked out of Tor, cannot download/use it anymore and the reasons given are as follows:

"Tor.browser quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information." Ignore Report Reopen (options)

when i have deleted and tried to re-install tor browser, I get the notification that

"Tor Browser quit unexpectedly". No matter what I do

 (I have since done both, obviously & have tried many other things, including trying to Time Travel, which I am not 100% sure how to yet).  the Report states Firefox is responsible for blocking Tor.  how did this happen and suggestions on how to fix.  I have to access Tor to find some pertinent files etc. I have stored there.  thanks

I need step by step instructions to create my NEW account, because I couldn’t enter the code to confirm my account, and now I can’t sign in , or anything. I would like to sync everything as well. Please advise. Thank you
