Win 11 Pro, Firefox Browser-Developer, 147.0b9, 64bit Problem recently occurred. Example it was working fine this morning and after turning the computer off and restarting later in the day this happens. The image below shows faded access to the password manager. Link that appear do not work: Log in at the header and link in password support highlight in the visible text portion. Thanks in advance for your help

I prefer using Firefox as my browser (have done so for years), but recently I have noticed inability to open some hints provided on my family trees on Ancestry.com

When I called Ancestry, they suggested I use a different browser (: - but when I did, I was able to open the hints Firefox won't open. What is the problem? I was also told that another Ancestry user had called in previously with the same problem. PLEASE fix this!

If it helps, I use Windows on an HP Envy laptop (have for some time - wasn't a problem before a month or so ago). Will I hear back from anyone as to when this might be addressed/fixed?

I keep receiving a popup seeming to be from McAfee security regarding a virus on my computer. It isn't from that security firm. The ad locks my system till I shut off and restart my computer. This is very annoying and occurs on all installed browsers. Is there anything I can do about this annoying thing?

Hi. I can't access my add-ons that I installed. When I click on the extensions icon it doesn't open that little menu like it does for other people, but it takes me to 'about:addons' in a new tab. I also want to pin my addons to my toolbar which is also not working. Please help me out

Hello, as of recently Firefox got the new tool to highlight text in the native PDF viewer, and I really enjoyed using it. As of today, I had not updated or changed versions, but I suddenly lost access to the highlight tool option. Refreshing the page didn't work, downloading a new PDF and opening it didn't work, restarting Firefox didn't work, and I haven't seen anybody else have this issue.

I don't know if this is just an issue due to it being in beta, or it being on beta 7 but not 8, but either way any solution is appreciated!

Over the last five hours, I have gotten 27 emails from Firefox Monitor for this data breach, for the same email address. I have already marked the breach as resolved in Monitor but I keep getting emails. Is there anything I can do about it?

Whenever I select tab and then start typing in the page search box it automatically jumps to the URL/Address bar. This is not only annoying but it makes it difficult for me to see what I'm typing, and it often results in unwanted typing errors. I have yet to encounter a single longtime Firefox user who thinks this is a good idea, but I have met several who've decided to drop Firefox and start using Chrome just to be done with it. I've been using Firefox since early 2005 and I've mostly been happy with it but this is just to annoying to continue. I'm complaining because the feature exits, I'm complaining because there's no option to opt for those of us who find it annoying and will never become comfortable with it.

If there is a working fix that I've been unable to find, then please point me to where or what it is so that I can apply it.

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.

I have an issue where I go to website and I get a message that the website is temporarily available. I cannot go to a different webpage for what URL I want. I believe this has to do with history. I suspect I can get past this by flushing the history. I can get to the website I want by using a different browser such as chrome. Ho do I fix this?

I can no longer log into my social security account using Firefox, but the login does work on edge. When I try login on Firefox, I get the following error message:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

The initial web site is https://www.ssa.gov/. From there I hit "Sign in", and get to https://secure.ssa.gov/RIL/SiView.action using Edge, but get just the error message using Firefox.

There is another route, which is through https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/. Hitting either account or sign in on that page will work on Edge, but gives the same error message on Firefox.

I had to reset my primary password. Now the new password is not being accepted. And I keep getting a pop-up asking for the password. What can I do to have my password accepted?

I already tried to un-check "use primary password" in settings but cannot accomplish that with a password that is rejected.
