my interenet provider server is in a differnt state to where i live and my mozilla firefox detects my location to where my server is located and NOT where I am physically located

I restarted my computer, but my tabs did not reappear. I restarted, but I have lost all my bookmarks, and I cannot add bookmarks. All Mozilla recommendations have failed.

Every time I boot Win 10 Pro, a half dozen Firefox pop-ups complain as indicated, as well as the wrong google page login (Voice instead of Calendar). There is no Firefox showing in the Windows>Task ManagerStartup> list. Firefox(143.0.4 (64b))> settings>General> Startup> has only [check for default]. I cannot find the controlling 'Startup' controls.

when i scroll to fast, it does this. That would be a minor issue, however, it shifts where the cursor is active, which is mildly annoying. Also, I am using some kind of theme, i believe its Aurora from Firefox.

OK when I restart firefox, or have been using it for a while, I might decide that I'd like to close a TAB or maybe even a heap of them.

Trouble is that someone has decided that when people close a TAB, the one to the right, automatically reloads.

I don't want to reload a TAB I am not currently using, I just want to close the TAB or TABS, that I am no longer using.

Stop doing this really retarded "Oh we think this is a good idea to automate things - you don't want, don't need and have not asked for, with the typical NO choose to switch it on, and NO off switch".

Seriously provide the option to turn this function on, and to turn it off.

AND up till the day this never happens, is there a switch in the about:config to turn this highly undesirable and useless function off?

I am trying to use a link provided by my apartment property manager. It is https://hermitagehills.loftliving.com/login When I use the link, or even type the website, on my desktop computer, using Windows 11, I cannot access the website. However, if I use any other device the website address works fine. I looked to see if I have the website blocked, but cannot find where to do that in Firefox. I know I have not blocked this website address. Can you help give me some suggestions? Thank you.

I switched from chrome to firefox, chrome has a function for extensions to work in the "background", but here I can't find this function, without it I can't switch songs with binds when something else is open

Any idea why it keeps being unable to open sites at some point, about 2-3 days after being opened? Might load eventually, but only after about 10 mins... private mode still loads quickly, though...? I tried playing with DNS, no proxies...

Hello, All bookmarks disappeared after last update on Sunday 11.2.25. Is there a way to search some files and recover them? This is currently a big problem for me as all bookmark are related to our business.

So I am unable to add a bookmark and almost of my bookmarks are gone. But when I manually type in a place that I know is saved as a bookmark, the blue star is there and it shows it is saved in the folder that I put it in, only problem is that it is not there. If I try to move it to a different folder it says it moved but it isn't in the new folder either.

I am using windows 10 PRO 64-bit

Every time I am using Firefox to login to an app that requires a passkey (which is many now), it says I will be asked to provide my passkey and no window pops up.

The browser freezes and I have force quit it.

Judging from other comments and questions, this appears to be a bug. Please fix it as it renders Firefox unusable.

I just tried to sync to my Firefox on my phone, but when it opened, an ANCIENT EMAIL ADDRESS WAS THERE, and it is not connected to the generated password I selected tonight. Can I get guidance on how to fix this dilemma? I'm also very old, so this stuff comes less quickly than to some of my friends or co-workers.

Frequently when I hibernate my laptop firefox prevents its (as soon as it enters sleep it wakes up)

when I close firefox it hibernates fine

when I go to powercfg /REQUESTS its the audio card that is driving the wake up

In settings I have turned media.video-wakelock. to FALSE etc and firefox still wakes the computer
