I installed this add-on to my wife's HP laptop computer and it appeared to install properly.

However, it appears the add-on is not synced or some other problem because it failed to display the "Norton Password Manager" icon in the Menu Bar of the Firefox Browser.

The installation did create Vault and a Vault Password was provided. New entries can by added to the vault when logging in to new websites, however, without the Menu Bar Icon displayed in the browser, there is not way to view and use the vault entries.

I tried to uninstall the add-on and re-install it, but to no avail. It still does not display the Norton Password Manager icon in the menu bar.

Is there someway to correct this ? Any help would be appreciated.

I installed this add-on to my Dell Desktop XPS computer and it works just fine.

See photo of my Menu Bar (attached).

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.google.com because this website requires a secure connection.

What can you do about it?

www.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

I have Firefox with account and without account on multiple devices, sometimes current, sometimes ESR. In all versions (not tested on android) there are always the wron suggestions for Uername fields beside the right suggestion.

How is it possible, that firefox suggests the username of 123.com on abc.com? Two completely different domains. Sometimes i have three or more suggestions that are all wrong but the correct username i used before is not suggested? For local Websites this is nearly never correct and Firefox suggests really strange words that have been used months ago on some other website.

What can i do to get the very simple Username to domain matching back? Is there an extension?

That behaviour is repeatable. New WIndows Mashine, new Firefox install, a few logins, reboot and visit some of the pages you logged in: wrong suggestions from completely different domains.

I added a screenshot where firefox sugests 2 usernames, none of which was ever used on that domain. Even better, the username i use everyday to login is not shown at all.

PS: I never ever safe passwords in browser. PPS: This problem exists for every input field, but i kept it at usernames because thats whats everyone using. PPPS: Dont get me started at form data like addresses. That never works. Here i really miss the dropdown function of chrome for multiple Form data already entered before.

A few times now I have suddenly found Firefox unable to load any web pages all while other browsers and apps on the same Windows 11 system continue to function as expected. At first thought it was IPv6, so disabled that at the system level to no effect. Additionally confirmed that DNS over HTTPS is disabled as our firewall blocks direct access to known public DNS servers.

Today however I have noticed that Firefox seems to get into this state after I execute some actions in Microsoft Outlook web (https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox/) , which I do have running in a container specifically for work pages (Firefox Multi-Account Containers)

If I force-close FireFox and reopen it, it will continue to function as expected.

I have tested this with Chrome, Firefox (latest update 131.0.2). Firefox stopped showing select-able buttons a few weeks ago, while Chrome and the iPhone app on IOS 18.0.1 on my Phone display the items correctly.

CORRECT DISPLAY - See attached "Correct Display" JPG. INCORRECT DISPLAY - See attached "Incorrect Display" JPG

When I edit the original iCoud NOTE, and remove the selection buttons, then re-add them, I can see that Firefox FIRST picks up the correct radio buttons then VERY quickly changes them to black boxes which can neither be selected nor un-selected.  :-(

Win 10 OS

Whenever a new version of Firefox is installed the number inside the parenthesis increments by one.

I was wondering why this number is there in the first place.

An example would be when you go to a shortcut for firefox, what you see is something like Firefox (x), x being a number. In my case it is 60. Firefox(60).lnk and if I try deleting it, I am then asked if I want to make it Firefox (61).lnk

Windows 11 home computer with Mozilla Firefox version 122.0 from 1/23/2024 cannot be removed even in safe mode. When attempting to remove there are no errors, it just fails to go to next step when select uninstall. This version will result in a pop-up error of 'Couldn't load XPCOM.' A later version of Firefox worked with no issues. When the user accidently selects older version or at random times without user interaction the pop-up error appears.

Have not attempted to edit the registry.

Suggestions for steps to remove so a current version of Firefox can be installed would be appreciated

Thank you

I open and close Firefox many times in a day, usually without restarting computer. At some point it has decided to open/show all tabs I had open in previous session, which is different behaviour from before. I don't wan't it to remember what I had open. And it did not, until, well, I don't know. Recently. I haven't changed any settings. It is annoying. And because I have not checked "Open previous windows and tabs" in Settings/General/Startup, it seems like a bug.

I need some help with Firefox -- surfing the web has become excruciatingly slow.

Chrome and Edge don't have this problem -- but I don't like surfing with those
browsers -- and I like Firefox better.
When I click on a link, I see this message in the lower left:
     "Connecting to ff.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com.."
Of course, "kaspersky-labs.com" no longer exists, (for Americans).
Eventually, after several minutes, it times out and the web page I was
 trying to access appears.
Kaspersky was trying to protect me by checking to see if the website I clicked
was a potential criminal enterprise or not.
I was a former customer of Kaspersky, but the U.S. Govt. has decided that we
cannot do business with Russian-based enterprises.
I tried doing an "Remove Programs"-->"Kaspersky" via Microsoft System,
Which removed Kaspersky from my system, but not from Firefox.
I also tried looking at the Firefox extensions, but there was no Kaspersky
 extension.
