Hello. I am setting up a site on Linux server using Apache as reverse proxy , with ASP.NET as application server . since installing SSL , I had few mixed content blocking that i was managed to fix using CSP directive in Apache configuration file. site has no issue with all browser except Firefox. the only issue is that in admin section , to configure a option. system will load a js file that simply a dropdown with list of options to choose from . when using Firefox , it tries to redirect that page to login page . for test , i clicked on the link i located in Developer tools , which directed me to login page , entered my credentials, and scripts loads showing the drop down box and ok button. is been 3 weeks i been looking for every solution and i have done everything .. but nothing have worked. now I am resort to having to use other browsers if i need to use that functionality in admin page. In page header file name : login , location : http://MYDOMAIN.ca/login?ReturnUrl=%2FAdmin%2FDiscountRulesCustomerRoles%2FConfigure%3FdiscountId%3D6%26_%3D1702682353293 , which are not correct . and browser such as Brave and Safari dose not show different path and file name and everything is correct. dose anyone know how to fix this .. ? i saw a solution mentioned as stated resting Firefox ,but can not find a way to reset , but i have reinstalled Firefox and constantly having this issue on this single section of the page . Thanks.

Dear Ms, dear Mr, I experience the following problem with the user interface of my bank’s website when I consult it using my new MacBook Air laptop computer. The image displayed on the computer screen is apparently designed for a smartphone, not for a computer screen. This anomaly never occurred with my previous computer. And it does not occur at present when I work using Safari. So, I assume that it is linked to the navigator’s (i.e. !Firefox) configuration. This is the reason why I am contacting you. Please find below the characteristics of the new and old configuration. - New configuration, the one with which I have the problem: Model : MacBook Air 15“ M3 2024 Processor: Apple silicon M3 Operating system : Mac OS Sonoma 14.7.2 Navigator : Firefox 128.6.0esr (16bit) since 7 january 2025 - Old configuration : Model : MacBook Pro (13“, Mid 2012) Processor: 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5 Operating system : MacOS Mojave 10.4.6 Navigator : Firefox 115.18.0esr (16 bit) I would be happy if this frustrating though minor problem could be solved. Thank you for your assistance. Michel Stevens

Hello friends,

So, I've recently started using firefox. I use linkedin almost like the entire day and it never seems to work right in firefox. Same options, filters, searches seems to work well in chrome and ARC. But simple actions like searching people or companies in Firefox is taking like 2 3 mins(if it's in a good mood) or it just never loads. The site crashes.

I could say that, it happens for almost any of the function in LinkedIn. But some other job portals works fine. Also, I've tried opening in privacy mode (where it works well) and I have also removed the extensions like ublock and privacy badger. Still, no positive signs.

So what's the issue here? Can anyone help me with this? I reported the page for being slow in loading. But i believe that's not going to be of huge help.

I have been having this problem for about 3 months. FF is UTD. Twitch will glitch, blur, stop playing, stream go black, and get the forever load circle. My browser games will get "Not connected to the server" every few minutes and I have to reload. Facebook will tell me that I'm not connected to the internet. My browser calls glitch. Music streams and podcasts will pause for up to a minute and restart. Emails take forever to load. My computer is only about 2 years old with 16G RAM. I have none of these problems with Chrome. I ran a Twitch stream side by side on FF and Chrome today and glitches on FF while Chrome ran smoothly. When I look in task manager, FF is running anywhere from 30-50%. It shouldn't run that high. Chrome doesn't run that high with the same tabs. What is going on?

Hi, for the past couple of weeks firefox is causing the GPU to block firefox when trying to play a youtube short preview by hovering over the short. The screen goes white and then returns and it happens again if you leave the cursor over the short. After a few of these, the message comes up that the GPU (nvidia in this case) acceleration has blocked access to firefox. This will happen every time. The issue doesn't occur in chrome. The issue doesn't occur if firefox is started in troubleshoot mode. If I run in regular mode and manually disable my one extension (keeper) and the two plugins - widevine codec and cisco openh264 codec, the issue will still occur. I have no other add-ins. I have updated firefox and the nvidia drivers to the most current. The gpu is nvidia geforce 940mx with intel hd graphics 620. I am running 64bit windows 10 home on an hp envy laptop with i7 chip. Any ideas? Thanks.

I know this question has been asked many times over the years, and I'm going to be that guy who does it again.

It doesn't make sense to me that Form and Search history are combined together. They're only tangentially related, so I've been really struggling to understand why, in order to disable clearing of forms, I also have to disable my entire search history. They should be exclusive from each other.

We've moved significantly past where we were security- and extension-wise. Whatever the reason was for grouping them together may have made sense 7-10 years ago (I've seen posts that far back asking for this to be separated), but things have changed. Many people use their own solutions (1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, etc), either because they offer better features, have a more complete package, or get personal accounts offered to them through work. One of the features I enjoy in Bitwarden is the ability to also fill out forms as well as passwords.

I'd much prefer to disable Firefox suggestions. Even though I have the password suggestions turned off, it still offers them and interferes with the Bitwarden (or 1Pass, or whatever) interface. This also happens on forms. I don't quite understand why Firefox seems to antagonize these extensions in favor of the built-in version. Users should have the option.

Of course, a lot of this can be avoided, but I'd also have to give up my search history. That simply doesn't make sense. I suspect this will again get buried like the previous posts, but alas, maybe this is the time. I'd really like Mozilla to give me a bit more control over my privacy and auto-fill options. Concede that there are extensions out there that provide better options, and accommodate them. Don't tie search history and forms together....

. What happened to Mozilla Firefox? It no longer works. I had it as my default but had to switch over to Edge to get to Facebook, Gmail, , etc. Restarted computer twice, and it still didn't work. Clue (?): The desktop comes up as usual. Used shortcut to try get to Facebook. First time a message from Mozilla flashed on the screen about something to do with PDF, but not long enough for me to read. After that, only a blank screen appeared, the little thingy that goes back & forth in the tab showing the program was in the midst of getting the website I wanted was not moving, which I think means something was stuck I am not very computer literate.

Hello,

When I'm watching something from Paramount+, the cursor won't hide in full screen like it does for example for Netflix. I tested some other browser like Brave on Paramount+ and had no issues there while streaming. Have this issue on Linux and Windows so I'm pretty sure the problem is not on my side.

Would be cool if that's going to get fixed soon since it's pretty annoying.

How do I fix firefox browsing on a laptop when I can login to an account but NOT be able SEE a page after it loads? It has always worked until I think outlook interrupted my browser with a mail notice while firefox was negotiating my request.

I tried it on another computer using fiefox and it works as expected.

I have cleared my history and that one request still fails to display the page to enter needed info to continue. It seems that one process interrupted by outlook somehow corrupted something for that one request.

Weather I initiate the login from the firefox most s login's OR type the web site in the command line in firefox makes NO difference!

I need to fix this on one computer. I would also like to STOP outlook from randomly interrupting me with mail notices as they come in.

i've tried deleting the cache for firefox too, but that didn't fix it either. anyone knows what the problem might be?
