Hi!

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.

Opening PDFs automatically with Firefox and, without any changes I might make, saving them with the download function in Firefox, actually ruins the functionality and data entry function of that file. Specifically this happens with PDF files downloaded from the (not all that amusing) PDFs from the FINCEN, (US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network). I do not see why and how Firefox thinks it is allowed to change files that are simply downloaded and saved on Firefox.

In other words, it seems that Firefox strips away certain "permissions" and/or "functions" (like built-in lookup, menu or choice boxes). This means that the file so downloaded via Firefox can no longer be used to properly fill in data, or to look up and choose data items within the file. (I see many times that ANYTHING having to do with "permissions" tends to be an intractable and unsolvable problem for software makers & experts, so, if you do not know right away how to solve the problem, it will probably take you several years to figure this out.)

The PDF in question is created by a government agency. If you have ever dealt with a government agency, then you know that they act sort of like Adobe or Microsoft: "They don't respond, or they do respond & say they do not understand, and if they understand, they are either unwilling or unable to fix the problem."

If there is a switch or option within Firefox, which lets me tell Firefox "Save this file exactly like it is received, nothing added or removed!", that would be nice. I just have not found such an option yet, and it would be nice if it might get provided someday.

I will share my browser data, but I am sort of convinced that a detailed question like mine will not be addressed within that shared data.

j'ai restaure w11 en supprimant tous les fichiers, puis mise a jour mon compte mozilla qui avait 2comptes 1 perso et 1 pro, pour mettre a jour a 1 compte par session pro et perso et éviter confusions ,j'ai certainement fait une mauvaise manip et je ne retrouve pas mes marques pages et mon organisation . puis je retrouver ces marques pages ???? en me reconnectant a mon compte initial et resynchroniser pour info le mot de passe du COMPTE PRINCIPAL MOZILLA a été changé car les 2 dossiers qu'il incluait avaient la même adresse mail . pour faire simple :

COMPTE PRINCIPAL MOZILLA  : cccc adresse gmail mdp : xxxx123

dessous  : compte PRO  : cccc adresse gmail mdp : xxxx123

dessous  : compte perso  : JJJJ adresse gmail

je pense avoir tt essaye , vu que j'ai restaure w11 et supprime les fichiers je n'ai plus l'anteriorité , le fait que j'ai change le mot de passe du COMPTE PRICIPAL DE MOZILLA a du ecraser les donnes . qu'en pensez vous avec mes remarciements

When I try to open Firefox, I get a box saying it is open, and I must close it. I do so, and a new Firefox pops up. However when I try to close that, it won't do so.

No Bookmarks (which are shown as imported from Chrome, almost 163 number of Bookmarks) are visible anywhere in Firefox. They are neither stored in the Bookmarks Tool Bar nor in any folder named Imported from Chrome. This is the situation. Uninstalled Firefox, removed all Folders (including the ones in hidden folders) and cleaned the Registry. Restarted the PC, reinstalled Firefox directly from the firefox site online, tried importing the Bookmarks from Chrome after restarting on installation of Firefox. Saved All passwords from Chrome as a CSV file (a Firefox requirement) and tried importing Bookmarks from Chrome along with the Passwords from the CSV file saved on Desktop. Again, the importing showed 163 Nos. of Bookmarks are imported. But on restarting Firefox, no bookmark could be found. Neither in the Bookmarks toolbar nor in any folder named with any name. My Bookmarks toolbar is checked as Always visible. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW TO MAKE THE FIREFOX WORK as in the previous version. This kind of an error has crept only after updating Firefox to v150.0.1.

Emails viewed in Firefox with Link to YouTube wants me to log in to YouTube when I click on the link in the email.

I receive a weekly email with a featured bird that when clicked should show me a video of that bird. Before the most recent FireFox update I would get a page that wanted me to log in to YouTube; but, there was no way to do so. Now since the update it works-takes me to the video and runs the video.

Was not working last week but since an update it does work. This is an on and off again problem. I have contacted the people who compose the video with no solution on their part; but, in a few days or weeks when you update your browser it will work! Then with another update it won't work. Off again and on again.

some special characters that i distinctly remember being able to see before are now no longer showing up properly. i'm a fanatic about ancient/prehistoric scripts and was able to see the scripts on the Baybayin Wikipedia page, but i think a few updates ago made this no longer true.

i'm able to see things on other browsers and even in the right-click menu as i have the font needed to see everything installed onto my system (win 10, i dont have security updates enabled. the font is noto sans tagalog, and i've already reinstalled it twice). the setting to allow pages to use their own fonts doesn't seem to do anything, either.

confusingly this is not a problem on my macOS device, where the same page renders correctly without me needing to download any font (i mean, as far as i remember). i think this implies this has something to do with windows, but i'd like to ask in here first.

Dragging and Dropping folders to upload on dropbox.com have worked flawlessly before Firefox 150.0

Now in Firefox 150.0, dragging and dropping a folder will result in the tab crash.

As of the update that happened this morning, I can no longer use arrow keys to navigate to suggested results in the search bar, nor can I use the enter key to execute the search.

I've disabled all my extensions and restarted Firefox, which didn't help. I've restarted my PC, which didn't help. My work laptop is running 150.1 (with almost all the same extensions, running under the same Mozilla account) and everything works fine.

Additionally, several dropdowns have broken, which I have attached an image of. It's making debugging this very difficult!

LastPass does not seem to work on Firefox, to save passwords on my Mac. It works on Safari.

Also, on Zoom Chat, the page has changed to a white text on black background in the last 2 weeks. Please advise. Thank you.

I had 6 groups in the sidebar showing when I closed Firefox last night. Today when I opened Firefox there was only one group showing how do I get the other groups re-displayed in the sidebar? I am finding no clues when using the last line in searching help

After creating yesterday a new Folder, today is not in the Bookmarks under the Star. Under three bars, Bookmarks, Manage bookmarks it shows there the web pages I put there yesterday. What is going on?

When I'm on a site that I've accessed on my main machine or phone (Apple), but try to use my Apple ID when logging on via the Firefox browser on my Linux machine, I get a popup asking for a fingerprint. None of my devices use a fingerprint. I get it needs confirmation, but very rarely you get the dotty circle to use with your phone camera, but not all the time. How can I make my life easier and get the dotty circle all the time, or force things to go to my phone for confirmation that it's me - face ID or something.

I've looked on my Apple stuff and can't find anything that will help, so I'm reaching out!

First of all I would like to know why I have to surrender my personal information to get support. If I get one spam email or text I'm going to be pissed and on here looking for the person(s) responsible.

Good morning, We are using ver. 150. We have noticed that the landing page for Microsoft 365 does not have the apps tab on the left side of the page. Microsoft has redirected the Office apps landing page to a Copilot centric web page. There is a small Apps tab on bottom left which does not display on Firefox. Anyone have an idea why ?. Thank you,
