I am unable to re install Firefox on my Windows 8 PC. Since yesterday trying to launch Firefox causes my PC to crash and then as it shuts down I am advised to search online for bad_spool_header info

After I did (both Chrome and Explorer work) I found a" search by conduit" add on which I was able to uninstall and completely (?) clean out from my system I also ran several malware tests and cleaned out my registry keys. The computer works fine only issue is with Firefox. Since Firefox immediately launches after install and this causes PC to crash I am stuck in an endless loop and cannot even go into safe mode for Firefox, attempting to do that to stop the launch caused not only a crash but a weird vibrating noise from PC.

Please note I use Win 8 as old style Win programs from regular desktop/start menu, not via app/charms interface (in case you are sending me instructions). Hope you can help me get my Firefox back!

Observed on the steam marketplace (on activation some older tabs will load an item instead of what used to be a search query listing multiple items, page url changed and no back button available).

For example: The tab url was http://steamcommunity.com/market/search?q=RPG+Maker+card

Browser was then closed.

Sometimes when I come back to that tab in another session the url changes to one of the listings inside (a page that was visited) with no way of going back to the old url.

In this example steamcommunity.com/market/listings/753/220700-No%20Transparency?filter=RPG%20Maker%20card

Also note the %20 instead of spaces.

This happens to about 50% of my tabs. (I have over 50 open) I do not know if this applies to other website, but I would assume it would.

Is this a known issue?

I bought a new laptop its an Asus V550C with windows 8 64bit. Ever since I installed Firefox I have had an issue when I use Google. When I go to type in the search box I can get maybe 4 letters in and it will freeze up (Firefox will display "not responding). I have to leave it alone for 10-20 seconds then it will come back but it is a constant problem. It will then usually follow with a script error message asking me to "continue or stop script". I know the description is vague any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a constant problem it happens literally every time I use Google. If it makes a difference it will freeze the minute the search suggestions show up after I type even after it comes back when I continue to type it will usually freeze again before I can actually complete the search. This is an extremely annoying and frustrating problem. I figured this would be the best place to look for answers. Thanks a lot in advance any help at all is greatly appreciated. -Matt

There are 2 sites i have tried to use that use Flowplayer and I am unsuccessful in getting Firefox to play the MP4 files.

When I open the Mozilla Firefox browser in a smaller than full screen I am not able to relocate it to another area ( Like when I left click on the top header and hold it and try to move it) the browser will not follow to where I want to move it.

I would like to sync my devices with my firefox browser on my computer. Two pcs, home and laptop and an iphone. I have read much about it and can't navigate through it with the articles.

When I view websites that have a Facebook plug in I get this white box that appears briefly over the text htat makes it difficult to read. Please see the screen shot attached

I have just reinstalled Firefox and I am trying to get all my settings back the way they were and when I try to go to the add ons page from the menu I get a untrusted notification. What is up with that and how do I fix it.

There has been a "NEW TAB" which has apps on it added to my start up tabs, which I do not want. When I open Firefox it goes to this "NEW TAB" instead of what I want as my home page. Additionally when I open my bills on my online banking I get this "NEW TAB" instead of being able to see my detail bill. I want to remove this entirely.

my fb and other social things are opening but main flipkart,olx,rediffmail,quiker are not opening and also improve ur browser bcauz my wifi speed is totally 20 mbps but it comes between 4 mbps to 13 mbps and today i check my speed test it cmng upto 7 mbps and 10 mbps infect it is not opening and my frnd say that firefox is best for u that"s why download it.when i go to frnd home his speed is upto 5mbps and his Google chrome is opening very fast and he also surf flipkart,olx,rediffand quiker also plz help me it is my request..........................................................plz...................

My Firefox has been moving slow, and hanging up (unresponsive). I noticed in my properties that it says windows XP and I have Windows 8. could this be the problem?

I do not know how Firefox search results were made to be displayed in tiny letters which are difficult to read on my computer. I have tried to use settings to change the display but cannot make the letters bigger. I also have tried resetting Firefox to default and it is not helping. I have tried computer settings and nothing has worked. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it did not work. What can I do to get the words displayed after searching bigger?

System 1: Windows 8 64 - bit System 2: Windows 7 64 - bit Firefox Version: 29.0 (on both)

SCENARIO: I installed firefox on system 1 and imported all bookmarks from IE. Then I set up sync. Next I installed Firefox on System 2 and set up sync and it asked me to select one of three following options: (PS: not the exact phrases) Merge Server and Client BOokmarks Use Client Use Server

I selected Use Server as I didn't have any bookmarks on System 2; I got the bookmarks.

PROBLEM: Now when I add a bookmark on System2 and let it sync, it is not reflected in my System 1 and vice versa.

What do I do to achieve this?

I have to share a computer and have many bookmarks. I use private browsing when possible but the bookmarks still show up in regular browsing. I would like to hide them but still be able to get at them when needed
