WHY IS IT SO HARD TO JUST MAKE FOXFIRE MY BROWSER LIKE I HAVE HAD UNTIL SOMETHING WENT WRONG A FEW DAYS AGO AND I GOT UP AND COULD NOT GET IN TO MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. IT REFUSED TO ACCEPT MY PIN I HAVE USED FOR MANY MANY YEARS . I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. THANKS.

I recently upgraded from 128esr to 142, and one of the versions changed the tab mute button into a separate button.

How do I change it back to mute button on logo? if it isn't possible, can I remove the mute button

Current Behavior When Firefox is set to offline mode (File → Work Offline), the Developer Tools Network tab does not display request body of requests that web applications attempt to make. This creates a significant gap in debugging capabilities, as developers cannot inspect request payloads details that would normally be visible.

Requested Enhancement Enable the Network tab to capture and display attempted network requests payload even when offline mode is enabled

'I am posting this for a third time, because I am absolutely sure it is caused by the latest Firefox update.

I am typing this into Notepad and copy/pasting it to the text box on the site.

I am legally blind, and I am very dependant on the Windows Magnifier. Yesterday I took the latest Firefox update and after installing it, the Windows Magnifier will no longer follow the text cursor on web pages rendered in Firefox. It will follow typing in the address bar and the search bar on the task bar, but it will not on web pages rendered in Firefox.

I do not have this problem with Chrome or Librewolf.

I had made two earlier posts with no response from Support. I have been trying desperately to figure out what waws going on as I was moving links, bookmarks & passwords into Librewolf.

I tried to refresh Firefox. It didn't work. I tried safe mode. It didn't work. I even tried a different profile. It didn't work. I even tired uninstall & reinstall Firefox. It didn't work.

I even called the Microsoft Disability desk and had them check my magnifier settings, and they are fine, and yet even if I toggled them on & of--it still didn't work.

So finally, out of desperation, I did the dreaded System Restore.

I rolled it back to August 18th and sat and waited.

And though I had to relog into Firefox--it worked!

and i have been surfing happily all evening until I loaded the Spotify player page and it wouldn't play. Okay this was weird because I had been using it all week and suddenly it wouldn't play. I did a search, and apparently it wasn't just me. I opened the About Firefox and there it was--the dreaded update.

Believe me, I really didn't want to restaret the browser, but it was doomed to happen anyway.

And guess what--the Windows Magnifier view won't follow the text cursor in web pages rendered in Firefox--Again!

The Spotify player plays again but.....

If you don't believe me, open the Windows Magnifier, dock it on your task bar, and try to type into a web page. The view just goes cockeyed.

So yes, the update has a bug. And for all the people who are visually handicapped and use the Windows Magnifier we are cursing you right now and hoping for a quick fix before we all have to move to Chrome.

You sighted people have no idea how frustrating this is.

At least I'm glad it's not my PC.

But if it doesn't get fixed, I"m absolutely done with this browser. It is now unusable for people with visual disabilities.

Since updating to firefox 142, ive noticed that if i move a firefox tab from my main monitor to my second monitor, it leaves a gap now where it used to be and doesnt shrink the other tabs back down like before

Its a bit difficult to explain so iv added a screenshot, the red arrow is where theres now an empty gap. I moved some tabs over to the other monitor and thats the gap it leaves

Hello, Iam using Bitdefender Secure Pass as passwordmanager, but since one or two weeks I have problems with the functionality on the laptop. I just can't open it. It is popping up and closing down immediately. Autofill in is not working as well. This is only when I use firefox, in chrome it is working. And on my mobile it is also working in firefox. I deinstalled and reinstalled the add on in firefox already. Afterwards it worked for a short time, but now it is the same again. Does somebody have experience with Bitdefender and an idea what I could do? Thank you in advance. Sabine

Issue: A regression in Firefox version 142.0 (64-bit) breaks the display of the CAPTCHA widget on the login page for https://my8k.me/login

Evidence: The two attached images provide a clear comparison:

   Image 1 (Firefox 142.0): The CAPTCHA area is completely missing or fails to load, showing only a broken element or empty space.

   Image 2 (Other Browsers / Older Firefox): The CAPTCHA renders correctly and is fully functional, confirming the problem is isolated to the latest Firefox update.

Conclusion: This indicates a specific compatibility bug introduced in Firefox 142.0, rather than a general website or user configuration error.

When I open Firefox, I get a small window asking for a primary password and I find no where to get rid of this. I have a Mozilla password, but that one does not work in the small window.

How do I remove a shortcut from the Firefox address bar? I understand that I can "uncheck search, address bar, and shortcuts" in Firefox settings, but I think this just hides them, so I wanted to solve the problem fundamentally and asked for advice. Please tell me how to completely remove shortcut URLs from the address bar.

Добрый день! Обратил внимание, что с последним обновлением. у меня стала виснуть браузерная строка полностью и я не могу зайти в настройка. Уже было несколько раз так и мне помогает только полный перезапуск браузера.

If I try to log in I get an email address already reg error If I try to use a link to join a channel I get a error saying the link is old (https://discord.com/invite/starrupture) Yet I can log in and join a channel tho it with same link in Edge

Just a note that I had a lot of probem with the firefox not opening when a link is being clicked. It would open in background but not come to focus.

External hyperlinks do not open in Firefox window.

I found that focusmanager.testmode was the cuplrit, after a lot of hard work.
