Hello,

I am new to the community here so thank you all for your posts. I am having an issue authenticating into a site on my user profile. When I log into the site on a private window in Firefox or another browser such as Chrome or Edge I do not get the 500 error. Are there specific settings I need to change on my profile that are blocking me from accessing the site? I have cleared cache and cookies and the browser is updated. I have attached an image of the error I get when logging in. If anyone can offer guidance it would be greatly appreciated.

For years I have watched the French evening news (le j-t de France 2) on Firefox. But once the latest version was installed, it has no longer worked. I get to the website okay, but when I click on the arrow to start the program, nothing happens. I've made the website an exception to pop-up blocking and have canceled the no tracking icon on that site, but it hasn't helped. Any suggestions? (I'm a professor emeritus of French.)

My search engine page when I click on FF changed to Bing this morning. I installed Avast Virus Remover yesterday, and nothing else. All methods given on all the answer pages did not work (do not find the link) or I do not know how to get to the command (e.g. Tools - xxxx - xxx - which tools?) I can't open FF so I can't use any of its options, unless there is a way to open FF without this Bing thing.

Win 10. I ran all the AV's and malware programs and they found nothing because I really do not surf a lot. I can't say which version of FF because I can't open FF

I have been trying to use the option to sync passwords from Chrome and it will not work. I have a csv file of my passwords, but it seems you have disabled that option. Please advise.

More and more websites are alerting me that they are not fully compatible with Firefox and that I should instead use Chrome, Safari or Microsoft Edge. Recent examples are Allstate Insurance and Hewlett-Packard, not exactly insignificant players in the business world.

Here's what Allstate had across their page when I was attempting to log in:

"You may not be able to use certain My Account features on your current browser. For the best experience, consider using the latest versions of Chrome, Safari or Microsoft Edge."

There have been other websites with similar messaging about Firefox. The issue seems to be growing. Is there a fix coming from Firefox or are we going to continue to lose compatibility?

I attempted to load a video from Anaconda and got the following error: "Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 104153)" My search of the web was not fruitful. There was a rather broad suggestion to try another browser. For the first time in MANY years i downloaded Microsoft Edge. I could then open the video from Anaconda. A couple of years ago I went from Windows to Linux because I did not like the access that Microsoft had inside my computer. I would REALLY like to uninstall Edge and go back to Firefox. I feel much more secure that way. Thanks Mike Whitney

I am writing you using Safari. When I click on the Firefox icon in the dock, "Fiirefox" does not appear in the menu bar, instead I keep getting the same message window, "The application "Firefox" can't be opened."

I am using an iMac, OS 10.15.7. This problem just started today after using Firefox for years

When I go to Target.com and click on the search box to search for an item, Firefox isn't letting me enter any text! It's like the search box doesn't exist. Why can't I enter text here?

I'm on Mac running Ventura 13.3.1 and the latest Firefox 112.0.1 (64-bit)

I just want to ask why when using Firefox, which I have been using for 5 days, CCleaner tells me every 2 days that I should clean my laptop? When using the Chrome browser, it never showed up. I'm thinking of going back to Chrome. I don't like cleaning my laptop every other day.

I can neither see it by logging into vpn client (because an expired sub won't let you access the UI for that) nor on my mozilla account page ? It really should be there at least. Please improve the usability.

I've used the Autofill addresses feature since discovering it a few years ago. It is/was a great feature.

I maintain only one Autofill address. With the exception of having to correct a typo I made, this single address is the only address I've ever put on file.

I do not and have never maintained any credit card info in the Autofill credit card feature.

At some point in the past year (to 2 years (estimate)), the Autofill address has stopped populating my street address, city, state, zip code and phone number. It seems to be brilliant at populating my name and email address on a web form, but that's where the brilliance ends.

If the form has a second email address field to verify the first email address field, the second email address field is not populated. I realize this non-occurrence might be a feature of the the Autofill feature, but there's no way to tell based on the documentation provided.

Could someone PLEASE take a look at the problem?

Before I refreshed Firefox, I always had a blank Yahoo! search bar at the top of any page. It was very useful but it's gone and I don't know how to get it back. Can someone help me with this?

I don't know what happened. Firefox totally changed its look on me. It seemed it wiped out everything, as if I was a new user. I did a refresh not thinking what it was so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. But this is NOT the FF I've always used. It looks like Chrome!

What the heck happened?

Yesterday, I was typing an email when commas didn't work, or I got <'s instead. And CAPS were coming out in my text even though the CAPS lock was not engaged. And when I did engage it, smaller lower case characters came out.

Then the browser revered to its original state, all by itself, as if I just downloaded it. And then a FF window appeared saying something about troubleshooting an issue with the browser and refreshing. I refreshed. Didn't do any good, the browser was still in its "original state" (I don't remember, but I think it changed to its original state before I did the refresh.) I uninstalled FF and reinstalled.

Luckily, I had written out all my settings, add ons, had a screen shot of how I had the browser set up, and even changes I made to about:config settings. Took a while, but I got it back to what it was, for the most part. The only issue is that my zoom percentage (I use an add on) was usually around 140 for most web sites. Now it's about 130, so 10 less. And the Windows Display sliding setting (Ease of Access - Display) is around 140. That's one setting I didn't write down, but thought it was around 160.

I have no idea what happened.

One question - on the far right, on the task bar that has the internet address field, there's an icon for Extensions (looks like a puzzle piece). Is there a way to remove it? I did go to Customize, but when I try and grab and drag it off, it doesn't work.
