‘Firefox will not start because it cannot find my profile. tried reinstalling Firefox and i get same error. At the point I am going to stop using Firefox. Last chace to dorrect my problem. BB’ for ‘Firefox’

Can't select for 'New Folder' in 'Chose' when I bookmark. 'New Folder' is not highlighted. The window says 'Quick Bookmarks is disabled. Is that the problem? How do I enable it?

My laptop needed to be completely reset to its beginning stage. I did not have the opportunity to save any bookmarks before this happened. Is there any opportunity under my login to recover these bookmarks now?

Several years I logged into an extended family member's computer, accidentally sync from another browser and now this folder has been following me around. The thing is it's full of some really gross things. Mostly extreme right opinion pieces and just so much porn. I really want this folder to go away, but when I right click it the delete option is grayed out. I've tried deleting them one by one, but everything I close the window and reopen it again, all of the links are back. How do I purge this from my mozilla account?

My wsj.com suscription loads the main, then briefly shows some of the content before dissapearing with this one line Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information). Using an older Mac that can not be updated to the latest IOS and wsj support said that Apple made changes so I can't load the contents..... any suggestions or solutions? thank you

Most of my bookmark folders are listed chronologically based on when they were added. One folder changed to alphabetical.... How do I change it back to the way it was for the order of the folder contents?

Initially, Mozilla stopped showing particular sections of particular web pages... e.g. a local weather pop up on weather stie, and chat on a chat page which is part of a larger football web site. I tried the refresh option for the browser. This worked for the above problems but totally messed up my You Tube experience. I decided to uninstall Mozilla and get the latest version. Not only is You Tube still a mess, but it seems that I have lost all of my bookmarks... they do not appear to be in my profile folder... Have I lost these bookmarks (quite a collection), and any idea why my YouTube is now so bad (e.g. whereas previously I had no problems with image and video with the Auto p setting), now I have constant freezing and only very low quality.... Also despite setting adblocks and other security addons, I am getting adds whereas before I got none. In short, the browser was very satisfactory until I tried to upgrade. So importantly, do you know where my bookmarks are and how I can get them back into my latest version of Mozilla. Thank You.

After Latest update, Bookmarks under address bar, NO LONGER APPEAR, ICONS GONE, BLANK LINE ACCROSS, does not copy, drag or paste, must use side bar or shuffle through menu, will revert to default browser if not fixed, new update is totally screwed up, please fix it. THIS PROBLEM ARRIVED SOLELY FROM THE LATEST UPDATE, MIGHT AS WELL USE MICROSOFT BROWSER IF NOT FIXED, LIKE USING A DINOSAUR.

Newbie question: today I started out using Firefox, so bear with me.

I am trying to set the Firefox Home page to display a limited number of 'pins'. Did manage to get them there, but some other pins are automatically added (based on recent visits I suppose?) So I have 8 pins, 3 I don't want. When dismissing, I get other links instead.

Maybe this is by design and can not be changed.

Vainly search for a way to have only the few pins, that I want, show there, nothing else.

I have two accounts on firefox and I use two different firefox apps so I don't have any problem's with my bookmarks merging I just recently I got a new phone and download the two Firefox apps firefox beta and the regular Firefox app and signed into my account separately on each app but now the bookmarks are merging which never happened before is there a way to fix this so my bookmarks stop merging

Firefox 112/Windows 11 - I can't import my bookmarks. Some showed up, but not all. And, they weren't from the file I chose, but from 5+ years ago. What's happening, and how can I fix this without going to every page and manually saving and moving each? Also, problematic is that when I save a bookmark, it won't save under the folder I select. I have to move it from Recently Saved Bookmarks to my folder. I have a lot of bookmarks. Please help!

I have followed these instructions for deleting all bookmarks at once but Firefox isn't responding to these commands so I have to delete each bookmark individually. To delete a lot of bookmarks at once, use the Library dialog. Either: * Ctrl+Shift+b * Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks In the left panel, click Bookmarks Menu. In the right panel, click the top item you want to remove, then press Shift+End to select all the way to the bottom, then right-click > Delete.
