I am presently running ver 115.0.2. This morning, following a firefox update, I was told there was a new version available. When I clicked the link I was shown ver 115. I did note that there is a ver 116 when I checked the drop down menu. A few moments ago I clicked an update to latest version link here and got the same version I have and from the firefox help menu I see that my firefox is up to date. So the obvious question is, do I even bother to dl ver 116?

my passwords(logins) did not sync from my pc to new iphone. All i have is the website but no user name nor password. my old iphone has everything. What should i do, i have over 400 logins

Hello, on one of my computers I have my new tab set to have 10 rows of pinned links. I went to `about:config` and copied the `browser.newtabpage.pinned` string. I then pasted it into the string on a new device I'm setting up, but it doesn't do anything.

Is there any way to get this working? My new tab on the device I'm setting up has none of the pinned links, just sites I commonly visit

Here is a sample URL that works on Microsoft Edge (current version) and receives an error message on Firefox (115.0.2): https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet The error received from the web site when using FF is:

Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

FF was working with all T-Mobile pages a few months ago and now fails with this same error on most pages.

To test on Edge, I pasted the identical address that failed in FF into Edge and it worked fine so I am confident I am comparing the same web page on the two browsers.

Hello, for the last day my searchbar is aligned to the right instead of the left. I have no idea why it is like this and i would like it back to Left alignment

this is only happening on my Right monitor my left monitor has normal alignment

Hello, I saw on the Internet that there are Firefox Plushies. Is there anywhere to buy them? I haven't really found an answer on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322367 either. However, on https://wiki.mozilla.org/GearStore/Gearavailable the product still seems to exist.

When I access some sites, like wordpress ( as an admin), some icons are shown as hex codes instead of graphic icons - I have enclosed screenshots

I have tried to reset the fonts to firefox standard ( I had some other before) - it did not help

I have also tried to check the "allow pages to choose their own fonts - did not help I have also tried to UNcheck the "allow pages to choose their own fonts - did not help

I do NOT have the problem on Brave or Chromium

Hey, this has been going on for a few days, but when I try to use twitter on desktop, there are no retweet/like/reply buttons. This problem doesn't exist on Chrome or the Mobile app. I can reply to things, but that's it. I also can't browse through my notifications without the page immediately displaying the "Something went wrong. Try reloading." message. I'm not sure what's causing this or if it's just me or what.

My business site - www.ninjanezumiproductions.com - has videos on it.

Firefox PERMANENTLY MUTES those videos.

I can play them, but I get no sound.

I can play these videos on Chrome, Edge, Opera - etc... and still mute and unmute as normal.

However, when I try to UNMUTE on firefox, it prevents me.

This is harming my business.

I want to know how to fix this.

I am using Firefox Developer Edition in a work environment that only saves directories between weekly restarts by explicitly managed rules. As a result of some missing folders from my weekly restarts, I need to sign in to my Firefox account and enable sync each week. Currently my machine retains the %APPDATA%/Mozilla and %LOCALAPPDATA%/Mozilla directories + children.

What other directories are needed by Firefox Developer Edition in Windows to retain the user profile/syncing, et. al.?

Strange differencis between Firefox and Chrome: 1) I'm not able to login to my bankaccount at the swedish bank 'Sparbanken Nord' since about a week ago. It works beautifully in Chrome.

2) The same when I try to enter the webbsite 'Svenska Dagbladet in PDF-format. Works beautifully in Chrome. The time when the troubble appeard, also about a week ago.

Should I be forced to change to Chrome - hope not!

Hello.. I turn on my laptop, start firefox and all my bookmarks are gone... I wasnt log in for very long time during using firefox and what I can do now to get back my VERY IMPORTANT bookmarks?

I need to transfer my profile to a new computer (Win 10/11). Unfortunately, the guidance provided - find %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and copy it to a flashdrive - is inadequate.

This location has multiple files. Perhaps for a Firefox designer or programmer, that's not an issue. I'm neither. I need a precise list - with exact names - of the file or files that I need to copy.

Does a "profile" consist of one file or several files? Whichever the answer, what is/are the specific names of those files?

Hello, My Firefox browser stopped launching. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app without success. I tried deleting all the related folders and ran ccleaner to remove moziila links. still without success. I like using Firefox as my preferred browser. The last time the app worked was two days ago. I started having this problem yesterday. I downloaded the latest version from the website.

How do I get out of conversation view. I don't like it and a reply sends the whole conversation to the sent folder. I don't want to sift through the whole conversation to read an email or send one. Yes, I can send by using the compose button but replies are alway in converstation mode. I can't find anywhere in setting where I can change this behavior.

fyi: when i access newslive.com and stream fox news, fox, or cnbc ... the sound soon becomes choppy and eventually fails altogether. when i use chrome, this does NOT happen. I'd rather use Mozilla/Firefox, but ... just thought you'd like to know - and fix. Good Luck!
