The Awesome bar opens up with the words about:home. This did concern me as it reminds me of the hijacker about:blank which infected an earlier computer that I owned. Removed ok but did concern me at the time

THis is probably going to be an easy fix; just something I turned off while in Beta. I have "File Edit View Bookmarks Tools Help" across the top, but do NOT have the Firefox Button. Any ideas?

I have read the explanations of ease of use by dropping the bookmarks bar and moving the tabs to the top. If that works for some then great. The nice thing about personal settings, is that they need to be for ease of use to the individual. When I follow this advice; "How do I put tabs back on bottom like they used to be?

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, go over to the Options... arrow and uncheck Tabs on Top. "

First, I cannot find a Firefox button, so I right click in the blank area to get options. Then I check the bookmarks bar and uncheck the tabs on top. That works until I shut off my computer. And then I have to do it all over again when I reboot.

Can I get the permanent option for these choices?

The tutorials talk about the "Firefox" button, but it doesn't exist! What were they thinking?! It's in the tutorial, but not in the software yet?

Does anyone know if there's a new release coming which includes this new feature?

It was SO ULTRA PRACTICAL because one did not need to bookmark stuff that they only need to work on the next day...and it disappeared from the latest version of firefox...Or is the option hidden somewhere? thanx

Spent 3 months modifying google and firefox then moved to a new computer, FF didn't install from other hard drive. Now there's sponsored links, ads and annoying ff box below search box and history won't go away either. Is this another 3 month project?

I use a PC laptop with a touchpad as my mouse. When I right click on a link and click "Open Link in New Tab" it opens the link in a new window instead. I have a few Add-ons but none installed recently, and this problem started this morning for some curious reason.

Has anyone ever seen this before? I sure could use some help.

In the older version if you clicked on a tab and dragged it to the area directly above the tab, then a button was created. I want to make buttons or preset links in the newer version. Is such a feature or add on available?

How can I disable the feature that blocks rerouted pages? This is causing many issues. It blocks literally every page that I go to. I am getting really sick of this!

When I drag an existing open tab from the FF4 tab bar onto my desktop, a new window opens as expected but the tab within that window does not load the URL of the tab dragged from the previous window. The tab menu item "Move to New Window" does the same thing as well.

I have disabled Tab Mix Plus add-on but it has made no difference. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

I saw that new FF 4 came out so I wanted to upgrade to it. But wanted to know if my installed add-ons on 3.6 will be usable in FF 4. Also, should I make a back-up copy of bookmarks or will they be passed on to newer version? If add-ons don't transfer what is the average time in which people usually remake their add-ons to be usable in newer versions?

I really don't have any more info. When I upgraded my Firefox to the latest version I have noticed that I can 't use this Open in new window option any more. I have reinstalled the software using its US English version( first time I have chosen the UK English version) but to no avail.
