Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro (OS X). When using Firefox I got a message saying it was running slow and it recommended me to "Reset Firefox", but promised that all my tabs (I have a lot of tabs open with important things) was gonna be saved and transfered.

After I reset firefox it updated into version 48.0.2 . My tabs are now gone. I googeled and found a troubleshooting guide telling me to copy/paste the old "profile", that Firefox saved with my previous settings/tabs etc on my desktop into the new profile folder to recover my old things (i was hoping for my tabs).

Unfortunatly, my tabs doesnt show up after dong so, even though I have now recovered my history, bookmarks etc.

What can I do to recover all those important tabs i had?

Would really appreciat the help!

Thanks in advance,

Best, Julius

To the one in charge: Hi, good afternoon, I am writing to ask about the Two-factor Authenticator. I have installed it on the browser, but when I tried to use it to decipher a QR Code with either the scan and the 'Add screen shot' option, nothing happened.

If you could give me some advice how to use it in order to get the 2FA code to verify an account, I will greatly appreciate it.

Best Regards, Zabalero

I am being sent messages from firefox saying I need to update Firefox, and that I can't until I buy a new system, a new laptop? I have a macbook pro with all my photography programs on, (Im a photographer) fully functioning, world travelled, RAM'd up and wonderful. I have just been ejected from communicating with friends around the world with Skype because they too want me to chuck out my working Mac Book Pro, buy a new one at around £1000, buy the extra Ram I'll need for it, and spend hours/days loading up all my existing programs, links and functions to bring it up to the speck of the one I am using happily now, just so I can keep using Firefox? Is Firefox wanting to get rid of poor people?

Beginning four days ago, the screen freezes when, having opened an email from a magazine, I click on and try to read an article contained within the email. The screen does not freeze when I go directly from MSN to a news story from the Post or Times or Guardian, only when I'm in my Hotmail account. AND it does not freeze when I access that account using Safari. I know I'm now out of date and unsupported, whatever that means, but I'm told the only solution to that is to relegate this lovely Mac to the scrapheap. Anyway, this new habit of freezing is a specific problem which should have a specific solution short of buying a new computer. Thanks for your help.
