I downloaded the most recent Firefox version and keep getting an 'update now' message from mozilla/firefox and now I've got like 5 new installs of firefox (today) that apparently aren't the newest?

Recently I have noticed that where there are drop down lists on websites I visit the drop down function no longer works properly if I am using the Firefox browser. If I click on the arrow in a drop down list box the list briefly appears then disappears almost immediately making impossible to select an option from that list. I don't have this problem if I use any other browser like Safari and the drop down list function used to work on Firefox, so presumably this is a bug unless there is something in preferences that needs changing. I am using v88.0.1 on mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. Any help wud be appreciated

The export funtion is not available here and I know the this option is only available on 79 and after, but I'm using a mid 2012 Mac Pro running 78.10.1esr. I have Firefox 87 installed on my Mac computer. I set my home page to Parler.com and my search engine to DuckDuck.com. My setting stay like this for Two or Three times when opening Firefox but then my setting automaticly change to (searchmarquis/searchBaron.com for my homepage and my search engine changes to Goggle .com. When I go back into Fiirefox perferences the only search engine available is Goggle.com. this is the 10th and last time of having to reset my perferences in Firefox. Why6 is this happening and how can I stop it???

I was about to add a couple extensions, a translator, dictionary, etc, yet was taken aback at giving any of them permission to "access all my data for all websites"! This means they can scoop up all my passwords, & personal information, and do whatever they please with them. We're just supposed to trust them, and all their employees, to be good, and resist the temptation to profit from this trove of information?

When I try to add <preferred.email@domain.name> to my secondary email, I get the message: "Secondary email must be different than your account email"
I do not see this "account email" listed anywhere. Where do I find it, and how can I change it?

Good day. I use Firefox exclusively as my browser. I have a MacBook Air, with all updates in place.
I post to a university blog. Lately, the posted text is accompanied at the end with a long list of font instructions. These instructions do not show up in the copy, no matter which word processing program they're created on. (The text comes from various authors. I copy and paste.)
It's not a huge problem to solve--highlight and delete. Still, puzzling and annoying.
Today I tried a test posting of my own text (Word), using Firefox, and then using Safari.
The font instructions appeared using Firefox, and did not appear using Safari. I have to conclude that it's a Firefox artifact. Wrong? Right? You tell me, please.
Is there some instruction or direction or place to check a box that will make the font instructions not magically attach to my copy?
The font instructions do not appear when I post the same copy on Facebook, nor when I copy and paste any other document anywhere. For instance, they do not appear when I post photos to accompany text.
I would appreciate any light you can shed on this.

Hello, I have one page on my website which is not loading. You keep on seeing the loading dot. I asked other people to check on their Firefox to check and also their is does not load. On other browsers (Safari, Chrome) it works. I downloaded Firefox on my iPad and there it works.
