I accidentally messed it up when trying to remove the desktop icon because I already set Firefox in my taskbar. Now I get an unfamiliar screen and my settings, including bookmarks, are gone. Is it possible to set my laptop to undo changes made today?

This problem just started with the latest version of Firefox that opens with two profiles. It worked for a short time and then failed. Firefox will not open if I choose the default profile. I can open Firefox if I choose Profile #2, but it has none of the history of the default profile. I lose all of my extensions, history, bookmarks - everything.

How can I get back to where I was yesterday? (Note: I'm just a user, not a computer geek, and don't understand the buzzwords or technospeak. I can follow clear instructions like copy, delete, rename, etc.)

I'm using an HP laptop with Windows 11.

My local newspaper has gone only digital, which I actually like. But, there is an option on the bottom of the reader that is available when using Edge and is not available when I use Firefox. A mouseOver on Edge displays "Print or clip". Yes, it's a snipping tool and/or print option. But it really right-sizes the snipped area perfectly for printing crossword puzzles. The Windows snipping tool (Windows 11) makes it too small so I need to go to Edge for only this one task. My first preference would be to get the function on the Firefox screen, and my second choice would be to figure out how to use the Windows snipping tool to print without leaving Firefox. Today I was suprised to see that my shortcuts were deleted so i tried to fix it, but instead i somehow deleted my profile which had everything, is there a way to bring it back?

I want to achieve windowed functionality of Firefox's F11 fullscreen mode, where there's no window borders nor tab/url bar, which pops in on hover. Having every pixel actually be web space is just preferable to me. This used to be possible in old Firefox versions simply by resizing a fullscreened FF window using a resizer extension or window manager (such as seen here, with version 55.0.3: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1klHdUHiKtLVITmrQnul8O1zF32l-Uz6c/view). At some point, something must have changed in FF's fullscreen API because it no longer responds to any of this.

I'm willing to pay anyone savvy enough to come up with a solution. Ideally by figuring out how to again be able to simply resize F11 windows. Note: "full-screen-api.ignore-widgets" isn't cutting it, there will still be a window border and the tab/url bar won't automatically pop up.

I have just replaced my PC after the old one decided not to connect to the net & performed a backup of just about everything. Tried to restore Firefox backup & it's asking for a password when I didn't create one! I've tried the Firefox sign in password but that was rejected - any ideas anyone? Thanks

Since last week I am unable to properly use some websites that are failing due to CORS requests, but they were working before. Some examples are es.webuy.com or a local Jellyfin instance. After trying to enable/disable some settings that I thought could be related to the problem, like security levels, I ended up creating a new profile. In this new profile everything works, but as soon as I synchronize my Mozilla account, then these websites start failing again with CORS requests errors.

Any idea about what setting might it be the one causing problems? Or any idea about how can I debug/troubleshoot it myself?

Ill listen to some music in a tab, then ill pause it, go do something else, then randomly after a long time, an hour or 2 it will resume itself after the tab being in that closed group for so long

Here is the current situation.

Firefox is consistently crashing in Windows 11, either a tab crash or the application itself. I'm not sure how to resolve it at this point. It was sufficiently bad that at first I assumed this was a problem with my Windows 11 installation, and did a complete reinstall of the OS followed by a fresh install of Firefox.

That did not resolve the problem. Firefox is still crashing.

I completely replaced the SSD assuming there was some kind of read/write problem between it and Firefox, did a clean install of Win11 and Firefox, and instead of porting my profile ported only my bookmarks and passwords into a new profile.

It's still happening. I don't know what to do at this point.

today I tried using a link from discord to go to a site. a window I was unfamiliar with stating it was firefox told me to pick a profile. I had 2 at that point but I saw none at that point. I ignored it and did nothing. I restarted my computer later on after a file browser issue and when I tried to find my profiles and my last session I found nothing. my entire fire fox account has been wiped and I only have a single profile in my app data thats onlder than 2026. I have no idea whats happened.

I've been annoyed recently to see the Firefox symbol on both my Desktop and in the taskbar and finding that there are two in the taskbar when I open one. The bottom line is that I seem to have completely obliterated Firefox as I'd had it set up! Can I restore my Firefox settings to where they were yesterday?

My geeksquad agent dumped me here. They were not able to fix the issue. My tools are not all on the bar, my book marks are not all here. They got some. There was a message that some other application was using my firefox and my tools and bookmarks wouldn't work. I am no tech person. I just want things back like they were and to know why this happened and I don't want it to happen again. Please help.
