The repeat Firefox 140.9.1 esr dmg does not work for me it says a currupt image? often the Firefox I am using crashes my cumpoter and I have a long restart

I am on the ESR channel because Mozilla THINKS I am runnuing Windows 8. I am running Windows 10. I cannot update beyond 115.21.

This is my second post regarding this problem. Upon searching and reading the answers to this problem on the Mozilla's community, I found out that Firefox last update on Windows 7 computers is 115.33Oesr. According to cor-el, one of Mozilla's community Moderator, Firefox is stuck on this version not updating to the newest Firefox 148.02. on Windows 7 computers. I thought the whole idea of having Firefox Oesr version was to allow Windows 7 computers to continue using Firefox. Now I have many websites telling me "Access denied". Home Depot, Costco, Kohl's, Ralph's so far that I have found out. Everything works on Chrome, which I prefer not to use. Everything works on my laptop with Windows 11 version Firefox 148.02
Is this going to be fixed???? Is Firefox Oesr going to update to version 1408.02 so people/computers with Windows 7 can continue using these websites?????

What is ESR and why do I have to update it every time I log into my computer? It's a pain and if it's not necessary how do I get rid of it?

I want to know whether I can update my current Firefox version with my very old desktop setup. I am using the Firefox browser version 78.15.0esr (64-bit) on my iMac 2007 running OS X El Capitan. This notice came up when opening Firefox: " Your version of Firefox will start to have problems on January 14. A root certificate will expire, causing some preferences and other features to stop working. On March 14, 2025, add-ons and more features will also break." Following the instructions to update, in About Firefox window, it checks for updates and then shows Firefox is up to date. I've interpreted this as there's no version available that I can update to. Is that correct?

It was the only browser I had. Can I undo the installation? Or download 78.15.0 somehow to restore the functionality of this Mac?
IE 7 protocols are to ancient for current internet, I cannot download files I need an offline installer of the firefox ESR
