Recently converted to Firefox.

I routinely receive images from one sender that has a banner that renders two to three times the screen width no matter the screen size.

This issue doesn't occur on the Gmail Mobile app only while viewing Gmail on Firefox (The issue is not resident in Chrome).

way to limit the size of embedded / inline images when logged into gmail on Firefox?

Hello, as of this morning, none of the bookmarks I save on my android phone are syncing across to my PC. When I open my PC, I can see that sync is still working (as all open tabs on my phone are showing as open on the Tabs Pickup screen). I can see that several pages I bookmarked yesterday have saved without issue, so this is something that's happened today. I have my PC set to clear history whenever I close the browser, but I've manually cleared all history and cache. I've also manually synced. I've gone into settings and checked that Bookmarks are still selected as one of the things to Sync.

I have gone to about: sync-log and this is what I see:

Can anyone help? I've been using Firefox for years on my PC, but have only recently started using the Firefox app on my phone and I love the sync feature. Many thanks.

I have having alot of trouble. I am unable to get Netflix to work in Normal mode of firefox. It will work in trouble shoot but not in reg mode. The page will not load all the way and than it locks up . I have done every suggestion that i have found and yet it still will not load and work. I have been trying to fix this problem for a week now. I have uninstalled and re installed 3 times now. and yet it still will not work. I have now gone to Edge to watch Netflix.

Since the days of Go Corp.'s PenPoint and Windows for Pen Computing, I have been accustomed to select text by just dragging the stylus --- that no longer works --- for some reason the stylus has now been dumbed down to be an 11th touch input which scrolls.

Why?

How can I get back the far more expressive behavour of drag-select text with a stylus and using touch when I wish to scroll?

As an FYI, I handed a stylus and my Samsung Galaxy Book 12 (running Windows Build 1703 which predates this change) to a technician at the local Best Buy and they had no problem selecting text --- when I challenged them to select text on a Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 running Windows 11 using the stylus they were unable to to.

Could we please have an option to restore the traditional behaviour?

isn't directly available in Windows 11, and the equivalent setting:

Settings | Bluetooth & Devices | Pen & Windows Ink | Additional Pen Settings | Let me use my pen as a mouse when it's available

doesn't seem to work when it is enabled.

I recorded USB webcam pictures with MJPG_streamer and converted them to mp4 using

  ffmeg -r 20 -pattern_type glob -i "*.jpg" -c:v libx264 test.mp4

Firefox complains "video can't be played because the file is corrupt" Google Chrome and VLC have no problems playing the file.

What options for ffmpeg do I need to create the mp4 files so that firefox can play them?

I installed firefox and am trying to open the Vegas World sign in app and it's doing nothing in the tab, it will not come up. I'm so confused and technically challenged

I have bought a new computer and want to sync all my passwords and stuff. it is asking for the authentication code to proceed but i don't have it, how can i disable authentication code when it is asking for it to disable. don't know what or how to proceed? please help. -Mike M.

Calendar has 22 categories and an option to add Custom Categories. However, any custom categories I have added whilst editing an entry only seem to get saved in that entry, not in the list. If I need to use that category again I have to enter it again - every time! It seems logical to me that adding a category means it gets to stay in the list and I'd also expect that it would then be sorted apha-numerically.

Is it possible to edit the category list somewhere in FF?

I know I'm late to the party...just had a Windows 11 reset...ugh. No matter. What does tweak me is that shortcut that is a nasty box. And tiny. I've searched, but can't find a good solution...all I want...is the previous, very hip, Firefox icon. IS THERE A UPDATE OR HACK FOR THIS? Really, if the nice friends at Mozilla are watching, gang, please, next update...give us back the previous shortcut logo. At least a choice? Thanks!

Is there any way or any extention which can make a bookmark behave like a pinned tab? so that whenever I am browsing that bookmark is tracked and automatecally updated as I browse?

When I use firefox, the graphics on the site look bad and slow down. If I use Microsoft Edge on the same PC, then everything works fine. The advice to enable hardware acceleration did not help and the drivers for my video card (nVidea GTX 1080) are new. Is it possible to solve the problem somehow?

Until recently, I was able to print and create PDF from Mozilla browser. I can only create a PDF if I select the printer option Microsoft to PDF. For the past few weeks or so every time I try to do so the following gibberish appears in a notebook. See below:

Hi, using firefox for a long time. 2-3 days ago FF started to start slow. If I open FF, it shows me FF GUI without any icons and after 3-5 seconds it starts completely.

Tried to disable all extensions (bitwarden, ublock, easy screenshot, feedbro), same result. Tried to clear cache, cookies, history - same result. At the end I made a reset of firefox via menu, same result. FF is latest version.

Why is DuckDuckGo not your default search engine? You seem to be concerned about privacy and security. So why is a more secure search engine not your default upon installation?
