Hello. I am setting up a site on Linux server using Apache as reverse proxy , with ASP.NET as application server . since installing SSL , I had few mixed content blocking that i was managed to fix using CSP directive in Apache configuration file. site has no issue with all browser except Firefox. the only issue is that in admin section , to configure a option. system will load a js file that simply a dropdown with list of options to choose from . when using Firefox , it tries to redirect that page to login page . for test , i clicked on the link i located in Developer tools , which directed me to login page , entered my credentials, and scripts loads showing the drop down box and ok button. is been 3 weeks i been looking for every solution and i have done everything .. but nothing have worked. now I am resort to having to use other browsers if i need to use that functionality in admin page. In page header file name : login , location : http://MYDOMAIN.ca/login?ReturnUrl=%2FAdmin%2FDiscountRulesCustomerRoles%2FConfigure%3FdiscountId%3D6%26_%3D1702682353293 , which are not correct . and browser such as Brave and Safari dose not show different path and file name and everything is correct. dose anyone know how to fix this .. ? i saw a solution mentioned as stated resting Firefox ,but can not find a way to reset , but i have reinstalled Firefox and constantly having this issue on this single section of the page . Hi, I love Firefox and have been using this browser over Chrome for years. However, for quite some time I have had problems with my search engine settings. My default is set on google but it always go back to yahoo search which is not even listed as options. Do I have to purchase something to get whatever it is doing this?

when i execute a google search and click through to an Ad result, i get the following error message.

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.googleadservices.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

QUESTION: how do i setup Firefox to allow click through of Google Ads?

P.S. i do not have any ad blocker extensions enabled. this is only an issue in Firefox. i have no issue with click through on Chrome or Safari.

When trying to save PDF's, firefox use to save each file as ex/ document, document(1), document(2) etc... now when trying to auto save it is making me input a name manually and won't automatically add the (#) to each file. How can i fix this? Thanks in advance.

When playing music on music.youtube.com, if I navigate away from the tab, by either moving to a different tab or opening a different application the music pauses. This happens consistently with two different Firefox profiles.

I admittedly have a quite a few plugins installed, so I tested this in a private window and this issue does not occur.

I attempted disabling the obvious plugins UBlock, 'I don't care about cookies', and Tampermonkey without any success. I also tried using a different user-agent without any success.

Is there a maximum number of tabs that can be synced? I have about 800 tabs on my old computer, but when I look at the synced tabs in the sidebar on the new computer, only about half of them are listed. The oldest 400 or so are missing.

And yes, I realize 800 tabs is insane. But that's another discussion. :)

Please tell me how to STOP the annoying Total Ad Blocker advertisements that continually show up on my screen when I am using Firefox. It's COMPLETELY ANNOYING!!!!!! I do not want to purchase this software now or later, but I will stop using Firefox if there isn't a fix for this issue. Yes, I am THAT frustrated. Thanks Steph

I've noticed that when I download a PDF attachment or file firefox open the file on same tab instead of new tab.

How to I change settings to open pdf on new tab and not the same tab?

On my newspaper website, the Daily Telegraph, the comments section doesn't 'load', but it does when I bring it up on my Chrome platform. Is this a problem for my Firefox platform,(which I prefer to use)?

I have a user who runs SRS/Crystal Reports on their Windows 11 Lenovo laptop, but every time we go to the website where a Java-enabled pop-up window for viewing spreadsheets is supposed to load we keep getting a "A plugin is required to play this content" error message, but no option to install/approve the running of Javascript.

I have downloaded and installed the JRE and JDK on the endpoint device, but still no luck getting Firefox to load it. I am running the 32-bit version of the web browser, not 64-bit, so I am kind of stumped about how to proceed from here.

Is there a place I can manually download/install these Java plug-ins?

Unable to access some of my accounts. Firefox is blocking pop-ups Block third party cookies, Cookie tracking, Cross site tracking Something is different and I need help to fix these issues.

All of a sudden when I go into Firefox and type in the web browser it comes up on left hand side of the screen and is so small that it is impossible to read. It has never done this before

I am not able to load www.washingtonpost.com despite providing exceptions in all privacy and security exceptions. I am currently operating in "Strict" but the same thing happens in "Standard". Most of my attempts are from links, but it won't load if I just load in a https. This does not happen if I use Safari as my default browser or just enter the web site on Safari.

Following a Mac rebuild, I decided to use a different e-mail for my Firefox profile, then tried to move all my bookmarks over. I tried both backup and HTML export from my old profile (on a separate machine, copied to the rebuilt machine) but restore from that file failed ("Unable to process the backup file.") and the HTML import seemingly did nothing - the operation completed without error but nothing changed. Any suggestion on how to get the bookmarks moved over?

I'm self hosting a firefox sync server on unraid. If I set it up on the local network, it works. I use this public address in the docker container http://localhost:5000 and the about:config server as identity.sync.tokenserver.uri = http://localhost:5000/token/1.0/sync/1.5.

Now if I switch to my reverse proxy, I use this public address in the docker container http://firefox.mydomain.com and the about:config server as identity.sync.tokenserver.uri = http://firefox.mydomain.com:5000/token/1.0/sync/1.5. It does not sync. I get an error if I use that url in the browser link. If I make it http://firefox.mydomain.com/token/1.0/sync/1.5 (taking out the port number), my browser displays a json page. But if I remove the port number in the about:config and make it identity.sync.tokenserver.uri = http://firefox.mydomain.com/token/1.0/sync/1.5, it logs me out of the firefox account.

The reverse proxy is passing port 5000 through, so that is why not specifying it returns a valid browser page. The about:config seems to need the port specified to work. Otherwise I'm getting logged off. Is there a workaround to this?

1. What do I need to do so that when I answer questions in an online survey by checking a box a mark actually shows up in that box? Increasingly the box remains blank but I know my question -- which I hope was entered in the right box -- was registered because the "Next" button works.

2. Also, more and more I cannot connect to a website that Firefox thinks may not be safe but it is and I have to "temporarily" inactivate the block. How can we fix that?'
