Hi!

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.

Opening PDFs automatically with Firefox and, without any changes I might make, saving them with the download function in Firefox, actually ruins the functionality and data entry function of that file. Specifically this happens with PDF files downloaded from the (not all that amusing) PDFs from the FINCEN, (US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network). I do not see why and how Firefox thinks it is allowed to change files that are simply downloaded and saved on Firefox.

In other words, it seems that Firefox strips away certain "permissions" and/or "functions" (like built-in lookup, menu or choice boxes). This means that the file so downloaded via Firefox can no longer be used to properly fill in data, or to look up and choose data items within the file. (I see many times that ANYTHING having to do with "permissions" tends to be an intractable and unsolvable problem for software makers & experts, so, if you do not know right away how to solve the problem, it will probably take you several years to figure this out.)

The PDF in question is created by a government agency. If you have ever dealt with a government agency, then you know that they act sort of like Adobe or Microsoft: "They don't respond, or they do respond & say they do not understand, and if they understand, they are either unwilling or unable to fix the problem."

If there is a switch or option within Firefox, which lets me tell Firefox "Save this file exactly like it is received, nothing added or removed!", that would be nice. I just have not found such an option yet, and it would be nice if it might get provided someday.

I will share my browser data, but I am sort of convinced that a detailed question like mine will not be addressed within that shared data.

Hello. I am setting up a site on Linux server using Apache as reverse proxy , with ASP.NET as application server . since installing SSL , I had few mixed content blocking that i was managed to fix using CSP directive in Apache configuration file. site has no issue with all browser except Firefox. the only issue is that in admin section , to configure a option. system will load a js file that simply a dropdown with list of options to choose from . when using Firefox , it tries to redirect that page to login page . for test , i clicked on the link i located in Developer tools , which directed me to login page , entered my credentials, and scripts loads showing the drop down box and ok button. is been 3 weeks i been looking for every solution and i have done everything .. but nothing have worked. now I am resort to having to use other browsers if i need to use that functionality in admin page. In page header file name : login , location : http://MYDOMAIN.ca/login?ReturnUrl=%2FAdmin%2FDiscountRulesCustomerRoles%2FConfigure%3FdiscountId%3D6%26_%3D1702682353293 , which are not correct . and browser such as Brave and Safari dose not show different path and file name and everything is correct. dose anyone know how to fix this .. ? i saw a solution mentioned as stated resting Firefox ,but can not find a way to reset , but i have reinstalled Firefox and constantly having this issue on this single section of the page . If a site is designed so that it breaks if trackers are blocked, why would I want to deal with such bad actor? In other words, don't the exceptions to tracker-blocking enable bad website behavior?

I've seen on this forum from April that people are having an issue with Firefox and Google Passkey. I'm trying to log into my gmail accounts and can't get passkey to work. It freezes the browser and I'm not sure why this hasn't been resolved. Mac updated to Tahoe recently and I was on Sequoia 15.7.x (not sure exactly. Still froze. Photos are to show what's happening and that I needed to Force Quit each time.

This one is puzzling to me: On a website with login, whenever I click on an link to a pdf, a new tab opens (my normal setting) and immediately crashes (not my normal setting ;)). However, everything is fine elsewhere on the web, even on the same site in the sections without login. Here are some observations that may or may not be connected to this:

• If I right-click and open in new tab/window/download, everything is fine
• When I return to the tab where I clicked the link, the page reloads - independent of whether I did anything in the crashed tab
• the site-admins were not able to reproduce the problem, also it seems fine for other users
• the problem persists in troubleshooting mode, also manually disabeling extension did nothing, emptying cache etc. also nothing.

It is not like this is making me switch browsers (although no crashes in edge), but it bothers me to have no idea why this is happening. :) Maybe someone here feels the same? Thank you for reading either way!

Dear Sir or Madam, since one of the last updates, Firefox has been automatically creating a bookmark, this one, Growatt. I haven't visited the Growatt site in a long time, but more Growatt bookmarks are being saved to my bookmarks every day! I've removed Growatt cookies in the settings, but Growatt bookmarks keep saving automatically! Please suggest possible solutions; otherwise, I'll switch to a different browser. So the other day I spent hours deleteting old bookmarks (and bookmarks that have for some reason duplicated) from firefox browser, alongside tagging them and other housekeeping things but when I went back into the manage bookmark page all the things I did yesterday had reset so all the bookmarks I had deleted came back all the tags (but one) I made gone. So how do I stop bookmarks resetting to what they were?

Hi, Following the last update (3 or 4 days ago?) I no longer have access to the bottom of any of my Firefox main windows. No horizontal slide button to move the content in the window right or left, (just nothing at the bottom). I use my vertical scroll button to scroll all the way down. it stops, and there are no controls visible. I've refreshed my Firefox, rebooted and or restarted the computer and Firefox dozens of times changing settings - Tried hiding my task bar. Nothing changes after the last 3 days. ALL "emphasis ALL" other programs on this HP are working normally. HELP! Craig [edited email from public support forum]

Hi,

I am on a Mac OS 15.6.1 -- 24GB of RAM. I have noticed multiple page hangs -- request to stop with AWS web console. To the point, that I have gone back to Chrome where I do NOT have these hangs. So, I suspect something has changed, but it makes the FF browser unusable. Something you should look at at. Happy to help if I can, but my time is limited.

Hi. I've been using ESR115 on Windows 7 64bit for a while now, at lease since Chase.com enhanced their online banking browser requirements. But now, Nov 6th, Chase.com updated their online banking site, yet again. ESR115 no longer works. Just thought I'd let you guys know in case an update to ESR115 is needed.

I tried to update to a newer ESR version but nothing is available. I'll probably have to buy a new PC since this mobo doesn't have a TPM chip and I'd rather go to Win11 than to Win10. Thanks!

I have a Firefox account that I've signed into on both my work computer and my home computer, but after logging in on my home computer, it's unable to sync bookmarks from the account.

Trying to set up Firefox on new computer. Haven't used log-in for years. My email account is closed. So code is sent to defunct email. How can I get access to my account so I can change my email address and get Firefox synced to my new computer?
