Firefox crashes everytime you visit http://liveonsat.com/quickindex.html using a Asus desktop with Windows 10 64b or a HP-laptop with Windows 10 64b. - Last versions of Firefox and Shockwave. - Security Mode Adobe flash Player turned off. - Hardware accelarations turned off - latest display drivers, last updates from W10 done.
Using "Task Manager" I detect two versions running of "Adobe Flash Player 23.0 r0 (32 bits)" . One of them uses 3,9 Mb of memory. The other counts up till aproximatly 1.2 Gb.... First scrolling turns slow then Firefox is hanging... On the laptop the memory seems to be full at 700 Mb. Then I get the warning of the Shock Wave Player and later a warning of a script that's still running.
Other browsers use "Adobe Flash Player Utility" or none (Internal flashplayer?) and don't have the problem. In attach a screensave of "Task Manager".
The flashplayer is located where you see the soccer results. I inluded the last part of the "console". There seem to be several problems. (playerLocation is undefined ?) What more can be done?

Hello,
For a long time I have issue with video players in Firefox. Sometimes everything is right, but after time, every videos look like on screenshot. This problem concerns different websites and appears only in Firefox (In Chrome everything looks good). I have latest GPU drivers and latest Firefox version (problem was also in older versions).
I tried to use new user profile or reinstall browser, but it wasn't resolve my problem.
Can I do something to resolve this problem?

I used to be able to watch the National Zoo panda cam for years - https://nationalzoo.si.edu/webcams/panda-cam. About April it stopped working. It worked for 2 days earlier this week (8/23-24/17) until I installed the latest Firefox update. Why can't I see the cams any longer on this website. I get this error on many websites; videos won't load or won't play. This same error also stops videos on the CNN.com website, which is actually appreciated. I did try turning off the IPv6 - that did nothing for me with this problem.
I am running Windows 7, my computer is within 4 years old, no problems seeing the other panda cam pages from the San Diego Zoo or Zoo Atlanta.
It seems this site is unable to upload my screenshot of the page and error message. Bummer!
THANK YOU for all your help!

Hi,

Happens on YT, FB, Twitter ...
Things I have tried 1. switching from FF 32bit to 64bit 2. disabling HW acceleration 3. updating video drivers 4. safe mode (crash still happens)
Used to work fine and seems to have happened after latest update to FF. though I suspect it is not solely a result of this since I have another PC which is working fine. Since this happens on my work laptop, which is in a semi controlled configuration, the 'well ... check the differences' is not a useful approach since there are way too many of them and I do not have the luxury of going one by one, disabling/unintsalling and seeing if the problem goes away
any help is appreciated.

Ever since the new update, thanks Mozilla, my problems with Plugin-Container have returned. By now you should take note that this application doesn't work for everyone and that disabling it shouldn't be an Einstein project.
So now Flash Player is back inside the app and the following things happen: -Jittery effect in full screen, lack of V-Sync -Slow loading times -Tabs using flash acting rusty
Deleting the program and using the MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS method doesn't work. And also inside about:config I can't find anything. It hurts just to watch a 20 second video, let alone a 20-40 minute episode.
Edit: Another problem can be included in the list. From time to time I take screenshots from videos at full screen. Previously this would result in a very nice screenshot, no problems. Now I either get a black box or a screenshot as if I didn't enlarge the video to fullscreen.

Using Windows 10, FF 55.0.3, Shockwave plugin 27.0.0.130, Adobe Flashplayer 27 NPAPI.
I am using Adobe Bridge and select to preview a gallery in the browser. Bridge will let FF start and then I get the message (in FF), that there is no flash player installed. I installed many many times, as decribed here in several messages, so often the flash player. I also did the steps described by the college student "ComputerWhiz" (=Wesley Branton) here: https://support.mozilla.org/nl/questions/1037689 (renaming pluginreg.dat). I disabled my virus scanner (E-Set). Also I deactivate in FF all the Extensions (to be sure no one causes a conflict), restarted FF but still FF does not recognize the flash player.
Please help me and do not give answers like to find out which flashplayer version I have or where to download flashplayer. Just an answer straight to the point why FF does not recognize the installed Adobe Flashplayer and how to solve it. Thx in advance

I normally have Adobe Flash in "ask to activate" status. When I want to see if I have the latest ve3rsion, I go to Add-ons Manager and change the setting to "Always activate". Then I go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html to check if I have the latest version. Then I go back and reset to ":Ask to activate".
Recently, when I go to that Adobe page and click "Check", I get an error message "Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.." How do I get Flash enabled? I had this happen with Flash 26.0.0.151, and I recently upgraded to 27.0.0.130, and after the update the same error message appears. I am running Firefox 55.0.3 32-bit on Windows 7 Professional.
In the past, when I had "Ask to activate", the Adobe help/check page did not ask me to activate; I had to re-set the activate flag to get the help/check page to work. Is there something that FF has saved somewhere that tells FF never to activate Flash on the Adobe help/check web page?
Thanks.

With Flash Player installed for Firefox, you can go to this URL and a container on this page is flash. https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html
You just see an empty space where the flash content should display, there is no Allow or Flash icons in the URL bar either.
