I have searched these forums for "always on top" and the results were completely useless, so I assume no one has asked this question before, or the search engine is ineffective.. anyway, the question is:

When watching a video where you can click the right-side button to pop the video out to Picture-in-Picture mode, the video window that pops out is permanently set to Always On Top. It is often inconvenient for it to be Always On Top. I would like to be able to right-click on that video window and be able to select an option to disable Always On Top, or failing that, I would like to be able to disable this Always On Top via manually setting something in about:config. Can anyone recommend a solution that doesn't involve installing any third-party software to control Always on Top behavior? Thank you in advance.

Updated and lost everything in my browser and now is complete crap, no bookmarks, and it install google as a search engine that doesn't work. Can you help me rollback to the version that worked just fine? Searched help and didn't find a way to resolve problem.

Hello,

I have disabled AI according to the instructions given by Mozilla, under settings and AI controls. When I search, I still get the first result as an AI generated result. I want to disable that. I don't need AI's help to understand what I am looking for. I want an old school search without AI.

Is this possible? If not, could you please make it possible?

Why do I have to sign-in to Gmail AGAIN each time I start Fire Fox?

• This even happens when I simply close and restart Firefox. (Not Windows restart)
• Using Windows 11 and FireFox Version 148.0 (64-bit) is up-to-date.
• Using Privacy Badger extension
• Using Malwarebytes Privacy Guard extension.

I previously had a Firefox account registered with my original email address. Recently, I changed the account’s primary email by adding a secondary email address, switching it to become the primary email, and then removing the secondary email address.

After completing this change, I attempted to create a new Firefox account using the original email address that was previously associated with my account. However, during the sign-up process, I receive the error message: "Primary account email required for sign-in."

It appears that the original email address may still be linked to the previous account in some way, preventing it from being used to register a new account. I would like to understand why this is happening and how I can free the email address so it can be used to create a new Firefox account.

What can you do about it?

apps.ngte-welfaretrust.gov.bd has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

If you are on a corporate network or using antivirus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Is anyone monitoring this community? Has it been abandoned?

I've been having an ongoing problem. I fixed it myself, because after posting here, I had zero responses and didn't know what to do, so I messed around and tried things on my own, which seemed to fix it. But apparently, it is not fixed, and I still don't know what to do. A Firefox expert I am not.

Very simply, I use two different computers, each 2000+ miles apart. Each time, and this has worked for well over 3 years now, the entire computer is copied to a backup. The backup data is restored, the current Firefox profile, as well as the Firefox program. To repeat, this has worked for well over 3 years now.

In order to get the extensions working, that requires disabling and then reenabling each one. (Otherwise, Firefox will not access the internet.)

This time, the extensions were disabled and enabled, and everything appeared to be working fine, but nope, not a single extension works. Even choosing a different extension that is normally disabled doesn't work.

I used to use Adaware, which is on the disabled list, so I disabled the non-working Ublock Origin and enabled Adaware, and it doesn't do anything. The ads roam freely all over the page. They pop up and dance around.

Not one extension will work. New, old, enabled, disabled, whatever. Nothing.

Does it bear repeating that I am not a Firefox expert? Without an answer from someone who knows what they're doing, I may as well switch to crap, inferior Edge with the zillions of dancing, pop-up ads. And I hate Edge.

My browser recently updated and announced some stuff about using AI. I don't want it. I don't want to associate with AI. Is there a way to rollback my browser to a previous version?

Why is the Bible.com picture blurred on my home screen but non of the other websites are? This is not very inclusive.

i tried everything in setting , nothing works these suggested shortcuts automatically attached to my home page i did deselect this feature in setting but still they pop up on my home page and the other problem is i am not able to search in my web search section on the home page what is that so ? why this isnt fixed yet ?
