I have changed email providers from Big Pond to Gmail. Unfortunately, I did not change it over prior to that happening. Now I cannot login to my Firefox. 1. I didn't know where to put this post. 2. Firefix is as clueless as every other software manufacturer out there. 3. I do not want the response. I am posting because Firefox development should know about these and firefox has been relatively good over the years - until now, never had a complaint. 4. These are identified problems. 2x each since firefox pushed out this build nobody asked for.

In one case, the popup is necessary and not there. In the second the POPUP text is completely unnecessary. Does the USER REALLY NEED TO BE TOLD TO FILL IN THE "HOW CAN WE HELP BOX" IS THAT NECESSARY, IS MAKING IT NEVER GO AWAY NECESSARY?

Bonjour, j'ai perdu beaucoup de temps aujourd'hui car mes onglets ont disparu sans savoir pourquoi. Je les ai tous recréé mais en fermant Firefox, les onglets ont de nouveau disparu. Qu'est ce qui se passe? c'est très irritant. L'option de conserver les onglets est activée, mais il semble que votre browser est complétement instable en ce moment. Is it possible to add the File Edit History menu to Firefox for Mac? For those of us who have cut our computer teeth on DOS/Winders, not having the standard File Edit Bookmarks... menu makes it hard to navigate your Firefox for Mac application. Even if many of the File Edit commands are not there because Mac does not use anything remotely like the windows commands it would be nice to know exactly where the more standard commands are located on either OS. Commands like New Tab, New Window, Open File, Close Tab, Close Window, Save Page As, Print, Offline, Exit, Cut, Copy, Paste, Recently Closed Tabs\Windows, Bookmarks and Help would be REALLY nice to have their screen location standardized across all Operating Systems that you support with a firefox browser.

BTW... I still have FirefoxSetup-0.9.exe, FirefoxSetup-0.9.1.exe, FirefoxSetup-0.9.3.exe, FirefoxSetup 1.0.exe for windows... Need a copy?  :)

Until recent updates gmail worked normally but over the last several updates the screen is now impossible to read. In Safari gmail is still readable, This seems like a settings problem or a bug. Does anyone know if others are having the same problem or how to try to fix it,, or report it?

I realize that Windows 10 is no longer supporting but I tried to get into my regular searches and no longer am able to do it. It appears that Firefox is not my browser any more. What can I do? I need to get a new computer but have not yet done so and am limping along

How do I recover the normal additional toolbar in firefox that shows options for maps, images, videos etc. This toolbar is no longer shown on firefox - perhaps it's because firefox has recently been updated and no longer gives that facility?

Updated Firefox browser for desktop on Mac to 158.0 on 10/15/26

On 10/14/26 using previous Firefox version 157.0 on Amazon.com Prime Video section, pages would load properly and videos could be played properly.

10/15/26 using updated version on Amazon.com Prime Video section, page would initially load properly only to later freeze. Videos could not be played. And freezing could not be corrected unless closing the tab on the browser.

10/15/26 using Safari browser on Amazon.com Prime video section, pages loaded properly and videos played properly.

Clearing cache and site data on updated version of Firefox did not have any effect. Pages continued to freeze and videos unplayable when starting over and navigating to the relevant pages.

Steps to reproduce:

go to amazon.com login to account go to prime video page

expected results video selection appears and user can select and play videos

actual result video selection appear but freezes after a second or two,. videos cannot be played

My session crashed and got a message to say that Firefox had been updated...now on 158. However, none of my (many) tabs and pinned tabs opened. - 'Restore previous session' is greyed out - Session restore in Settings is configured that Firefox is my default browser, and 'Open previous tabs and windows' box is ticked. The last time Firefox updated, I spent hours going through History to find tabs and since some were older than 6 months, took me hours! Is this my only option...again! If it is, I may have to switch to a different browser. Thanks.

I have deselected Save and autofill usernames and passwords in Settings-> Passwords and Autofill, but FF continues to offer saved pswd POPUP on a login page. I use Proton Pass extension and FF is writing over it, making it unusable.

All videos on any site will load properly however they will not play. Can skip around and see frame by frame but the video will not play

I use Firefox on Windows to manage Meta Business Suite for my business, Goff Housing Solutions. Facebook, Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager all open normally in Firefox.

The problem occurs when I open the protected Meta Business Portfolio Settings. Meta requires my existing passkey for accounts.meta.com. After I click Continue, Firefox invokes Windows Security, but the only authentication method presented is:

“Security key — Insert your security key into the USB port.”

I have never owned or configured a physical USB security key.

I confirmed that the correct accounts.meta.com passkeys are stored in Apple Passwords on my iPhone. The iPhone can access Meta Business Suite and the protected Business Portfolio Settings normally.

As a control test, I opened the same Meta/Facebook account and the same Goff Housing Solutions Business Portfolio on this same Windows computer using Google Chrome. Chrome opens the protected Business Portfolio Settings successfully.

Therefore, my Meta account, Business Portfolio, permissions, 2FA and existing passkey appear to be working. The problem seems specific to Firefox/Windows passkey handling: Firefox/Windows is treating the authentication request as requiring a physical USB security key rather than offering the existing passkey on my nearby iPhone (for example via QR code/phone authentication).

How can I make Firefox on Windows use my existing accounts.meta.com passkey from my iPhone instead of requesting a physical USB security key?

I do not want to delete/recreate my Meta passkeys, disable 2FA, reset my Meta account, or create a new Business Portfolio because all of those are currently working.

My laptop recently broke down and I'm wondering how to recover my bookmarks, passwords, etc. on the new one I plan on getting. I have a mozilla account and I tried logging in on my phone but I cannot see anything from the old device, even though it is the same account. Does it mean it will be the same on the new laptop? Would really love to get everything restored. Hope someone can help.
