I just updated Firefox to version 151.0. The release notes say:

"Private Browsing Mode now allows you to instantly clear all data from your current session without closing the entire window. When you select the End Private Session button (the fire icon) to the right of the URL bar, Firefox will ask you to confirm to clear your session. Once confirmed, it will wipe all of your private browsing data and open a fresh new Private Browsing Mode session for you."

There is no "fire icon" in my toolbar in private browsing windows. I have tried resetting my toolbar to defaults, but that didn't help. I re-installed Firefox 151.0, but that didn't help. I re-booted my system, but that didn't help. I have run out of ideas.

Can anyone tell me how to get this button to appear in the toolbar in private browsing sessions?

I'm using Windows 11 25H2 on a Dell XPS 9630 tower computer.

When I click to save a bookmark, the menu that allows you to select the folder to save it to is no longer being displayed. If I click the save bookmark option again, it gives the option to edit the bookmark like it has always done. The bookmark menu then pops up and shows the bookmark is saved in whatever folder you had saved a bookmark in previously. I am on a desktop using windows 11. This has been happening for the last couple of days. I have shutdown the computer and also tried restarting but am still not able to see the selection box when saving a bookmark. I am also current on firefox updates and windows updates.

After the recent Firefox update to 151.0 I can no longer log into Facebook. The reCAPTCHA is now broken. I did a system restore to version 150.0.3 and it works fine. Something is broken and I don't want to restore all my computers and devices. Thank You.

when I opened my computer this morning all my firefox tabs are really tiny and there is a box upper right that is showing weather. I am not interested in this and I want my screen to look like before. Why do you keep changing things that work fine and give me things that I don't want or need.

You block me when I want to open deposifiles.com I trust that site and have used it for many years. Stop this blocking action please.

I've got Firefox with 4 adblockers: AdBlocker Ultimate, AdLock, Element Blocker and uBlock Origin. Still, https://www.youtube.com/c/franceinfo/live (news channel) sneaks ads before and after the weather forecasts. "C'était la météo avec Florette" (you watched the weather forecast with Florette salad sauce - of course I didn't!).

I can't find how to get rid of it. Please advise.

I am trying to comprehend the VPN button on the toolbar. It clearly has an "x" to close the vpn icon, but instead it brings it up. What is the "x" close icon intending to close?

Also, while I understand it is a useful tool, I do not understand why VPN is auto-added to the toolbar. That should be an option for the user. For most people it is just adding noise, or a few extra clicks to hide. I like the way Brave does it, handling it similarly to private browsing. Is there a way to use it this way?

I wanted to get a refund for the VPN I purchased but the instructions provided on your FAQ [ https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-request-refund-mozilla-vpn ] do not work. I have been unable to make a request.

I can't figure out which topic to use for this but I can't submit it without one.

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks do show with the filled-in star icon and they work. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can assign a folder, edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and the pages I've tried to bookmark don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added. I don't know if it has something to do with the toolbar?

Nothing I can find online helps. The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I refreshed Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my New Tabs page) and that made no difference. The only extension I use is UBlock Origin. Changing profiles did not help. This is on my personal laptop and no organization controls my settings.

I stay up to date on Windows 11 and Firefox updates. I do use a VPN but it never interfered with bookmarking functionality before. (I see Firefox offers a free one now but I've got a couple of years left on my paid subscription).

I asked the community but got no replies. (I did "reply" to add more information which no longer applies, and I can't seem to delete the "reply".)

so after launching firefox i noticed that the shortcut icons below the search bar are smaller which is just frustrating and i can't find anywhere how to change them, could i get some help with this?

All the Firefox tabs and menus have switched to a tiny type size that is hard to read. I have changed screen resolution, enlarged screen size, set the minimum font size in Firefox and nothing works to change it. It was not this way before and I changed NOTHING. HOW IS THIS FIXED?
