My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. I ran all of the usual checks that you suggested with regard to extensions and cache. Here is the most recent report ID that was generated by Firefox:

My Firefox browser has been crashing for a while now (Years). It's fine playing YouTube and BBC iPlayer but when I advance the time marker to a different part of the stream or video, it crashes. It also has a problem when playing slots. It seems to crash a lot making it impossible to play.

I have tried using Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but the same things happen.

I have noticed that just recently videos across all different websites are not displaying properly. The image part of the video is a green scrambled mess. The audio is fine, but the images are wrong. I am not having this issue on a different browser, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. I don't know if changing any of the settings will help or if there's a bug in one of the updates.

As the title states, every time I try to zoom into a page using pinch and zoom with my touch-pad, firefox nightly crashes. However, if I try to zoom in using CTRL+ and CTRL-, it works just fine.

I have tried to disable hardware acceleration but it didnt help.

Since 2/11, I have eleven aboutg:crashes crash reports. Tab crashes (i.e Youtube), browser crashes. Sometimes when I have Firefox and Chrome open at the same time, for an extended length of time, (I reluctantly use Chrome when Firefox has a problem with a site) they both crash.

I've opened related threads here in the past with no help offered, so maybe I can get a suggestion where else to get help?

I run Firefox under Linux Mint. Both are always update to the latest level. Over the past 1 to 1.5 years, across updates to both Firefox and Mint and multiple 'clean' installs of Firefox, I have experienced many crashes from Firefox per week. Sometimes there will be as many as 5 per day, but never less than one per day. During the same period I have also been running Vivaldi; it has not crashed once in that time. Now I have to do something. If there is a simple way to perform 'problem source identification', that is within my capability, I would be grateful for advice. If there is not, then clearly I will have to un-install Firefox.

As far as I can tell both of these browsers run with just 1 add-on/extension: uBlock Origin. Disabling this extension in Firefox does not stop Firefox from crashing.

Why is Firefox crashing so often? What changed? Is there something I need to do to prevent his? Once or twice a week or sometimes a day, but It seems to crash when I am just in my Gmail, sometimes 4 or 5 times an hour. Is Chrome a better option?

Firefox Desktop (x64) worked normally until the version 135 update was installed. Now tabs (even a single tab) crash after startup unless Firefox is run in troubleshooting mode or Windows 8 compatibility mode. OS is Windows 10 Pro (x64) 22H2 on ThinkPad E495 (AMD Ryzen 5 3500U) Things that haven't resolved the problem: - Remove extensions and themes - Refresh Firefox - Reinstall Firefox - Updating Visual C++ 2015-2022 with Redistributable (x64) version 14.42.34438 - Updating Firefox to version 135.0.1 and subsequently to version 136.0, however updater only works in Windows 8 compatibility mode - Full system scan for malware (none found) Note: Extensions NoScript and Cookie AutoDelete work normally with Firefox running in Windows 8 compatibility mode.

I have Firefox on two separate computers, a desktop running Win7Prof64bit and a laptop running Win10Pro 64bit. Both Firefox installations crash constantly, ie every 10 - 15 mins. They show the "Gah! I always send you these reports but in about a year, the problem remains the same. Nothing has improved, I never hear back from you. Two different PCs, two different OSs, constant reports, no improvement. Why do I never hear from you? Why does this problem continue endlessly? I'm wasting my time sending you the reports. When I try to log in, I get the "your account has been locked for security reasons" message. I understand I'm supposed to get an email with a code to confirm my identity, but I didn't. I tried multiple times in the last few days. The only mail I got from Mozilla is one asking me to log in to change my password. But obviously, I can't log in.

I've used Firefox for years and never had a problem with crashing. For several months now, it's constantly crashing. I submit a report most times but nothing seems to change. Please help! If it doesn't stop soon, I'll be leaving Firefox for good. It's making it impossible to get anything done.

So, I cannot get sound through firefox and you want me to search through numerous panels that do nothing to get a result., You want me to check connections and equipment that work in other apps which I have already gone through steps to prove.

You also have zero ability to actually contact a support rep. You prefer I go on the roundabout of obfuscation until I really want to find someone in mozilla management and insert the mozilla organisation on a long pole, five km should about do it.

Audio doesn't work with Firefox. This appears to be ONLY a Firefox problem. Headphones work with Edge. Computer speakers work. In Windows settings, testing audio works. But when I attempt to listen to something in Firefox, there is no sound at all.

Since updating to version 135 all the tabs crash. I've uninstalled\reinstalled, deleted app data, disabled AV and created a new profile. The only time it works is in troubleshooting mode. I've looked at extensions and plugins and I'm only seeing OpenH264 video codec and Widevine content decryption. I've disabled those but still get the crashed tabs.

I'm also not generating any crash logs.
