I don't know what you're doing but EVERYTIME I do an update lately, something goes wrong. Today after update, my STGs are affected and ALL ARE GONE. I do NOT believe this is their fault. And you put this dang auto Startpage when launching window, I did NOT ask for that. I am so pissed, how do I get them all back? I had things I was working on that were very important. What else did you add to FF that I don't know about? I don't want your updates anymore. You screwed me big time. And I don't want the extensions YOU think I should have: Google, eBay, Bing, etc. wasting my space. I'm not the only one either, seen lots of complaints.

I'm an older pensioner, I've no wish to learn more tech stuff which is unconnected with my question. For years I've been concerned at the invasive nature of Microsoft products and so want to get rid of Win10/11 and install another OS. (I have hundreds of documents in Wordpad (.rtf) and MS are just cancelling it!) It'll probably be Linux based. So, simply I want to take my existing Firefox browser with passwords etc., to my new OS. I asked this question in Firefox and it seems Mozilla can't get over the fact that I don't want change my iOS browser to a synched up Firefox. I don't want my phone connected to my pc. Perhaps that is difficult for today's tech whizz-kids to understand but I can't help that. I'm not really technical but have had Firefox for nearly 30 years, so can anyone tell me if it's possible to copy my Firefox into a folder somewhere perhaps, and reconstitute it to work with my new OS? It certainly used to be possible. Thanks.

I have 374 saved Passwords & User names in Firefox on my computer. Just bought a new PC and want to transfer the data to firefox or chrome on new unit. How can I do that? Is it possible to transfer the data?

I don't come from an IT/Tech background so this has become a hassle for me. I have a "Old Firefox Data" file on the my desktop and that seems to have sub-folders with my bookmarks, sessions, logins, etc. How do I retrieve those to the new Firefox browser.

Yesterday I got a prompt saying there was an update available for download. Today when restarting my laptop and opening Firefox ALL of my bookmarks are missing!!! My bookmark toolbar is also empty. Where did all of this important stuff go? Please help me restore this my information asap. I am freaking out!

Hey, So I just updated my Mozilla with the latest update and after I restarted my laptop all my bookmarks, history and favourites are gone. I didn't do any backups manually. It's few hundred important work-related links lost. What actually happened? Can I get them back? Please help.

I don't think I chose the right topic, but here goes. With every Firefox update, my bookmarks and everything always seemed to merge into the new update. My computer rebooted with updates today, and I get into Firefox to find that NONE of my bookmarks made it this time.

Everything is empty, and I don't have a backup anywhere because I didn't expect this. Yes, I know - always back up everything but honestly, I haven't had time.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Are my bookmarks hidden somewhere?

I have a lot of stuff for research for writing stored in my bookmarks, and I can't lose them.

Firefox crashed and I cannot recover my tabs from history. I click on restore all tabs and it does nothing. The tabs I was hoping to recover do not even appear in my history either.

all bookmarks have disappeared along with my passwords. how do I get them back? previous answers haven't helped. before that, I would have trouble playing video and audio together, if I turned the audio off the video would work then when I turned the audio back on the video stopped. I am about ready to delete Firefox and use another browser.

Hello, I'm a few weeks late signing back into my Mozilla account after deletion email called for the last day as June 10th. Considering I travel alot for work, I didn't sign back in until now. I've lost all of my recipe bookmarks. Is there anyway to recover them? Thanks Jay [email removed]@gmail.com
