I’m honestly fed up with this issue. **How is this even acceptable?** Every time I update Firefox, or sometimes completely randomly, my entire Firefox profile gets logged out.

And it’s not just my Firefox account. **All the websites and services I’m logged into get logged out as well — including my email accounts and other websites where I have active sessions.** I then have to go through the ridiculous process of logging back into everything again.

This has happened **8 TIMES already.** Eight times! This is not a one-time bug or a minor inconvenience anymore. It is seriously disrupting my work and wasting my time.

I need to know **WHY Firefox keeps doing this** and why an ordinary browser update is apparently capable of destroying all my active login sessions. If this is a bug, it needs to be fixed. If it’s caused by a setting, update, or profile issue, then tell me exactly what is causing it and how to stop it.

I’ve used Firefox expecting it to reliably keep my profile and sessions intact. Having to repeatedly log back into my email accounts and every other website is completely unacceptable.

• • Please don’t just send me a generic “restart Firefox” or “clear your cache” response.** I’ve already dealt with this issue 8 times. I want an actual explanation and a proper solution.

Please take this seriously and investigate what is happening to my profile and login sessions.

I log in get a dead home window cannot delete , no response to cursor have to use task bar icon to overlay dead home screen. when return to home scree I get the dead old window and use task bar icon to get live home screen to continue. The dead home screen appears and have to select firefox from task bar each time.

In previous versions of FFox when a file was being downloaded, a file download window opened for each file. Is that feature completely gone or is there still a way to open a window for each file?

I used your built-in VPN for a long time and it really helped me out because I live in Russia and half the internet is inaccessible without your VPN. I want to inform you that your VPN has stopped working for me. That is, if I turn on the VPN and only then will your built-in VPN work, I ask you to fix it so that the VPN works as well as before. We have been using Firefox for a long time as our default browser. Recently (last 6 months +-) we have been encountering links in some websites that do not function in Firefox, but work fine with other browsers (Chrome, Edge). First noticed it with Wunderground Weather Underground after a Firefox update. Some aspects of the site simply did not work on our laptops. Since then we have encountered a number of other websites that have clickable links that do not work with Firefox, but work fine with other browsers.

We are losing confidence, to the point of considering switching default browsers.

Are others having the same issues, and what is Mozilla/Firefox planning to do to remedy these sorts of issues?

I was reinstalling my windows and created a backup from my old firefox into my usb drive. My backup failed and coudn't be restored, I'm confident that I use the correct password, tried to copy the file from usb drive into my laptop and select it from there but the result is the same, if you guys would be so kind as to guide me on how to restore my backup, since my password and everything is in there. I didn't create another backup since I believe that this one would succeed. Thank you in advance.e
