Hello, I am experiencing unexpected behaviour with local storage in Firefox Portable ESR 102.1.0 on Windows 11. In particular, the data is not deleted as expected after closing the application, even after clearing the cache in my code, the data persists when I open the application the next time. This behaviour is observed under windows10 but is common under windows11.

I suspect that this issue may be related to:

• Interactions between Firefox Portable's cache management and Windows 11's system-level caching
• Specific behavior of the ESR 102.1.0 version on Windows 11

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and provide any insights or solutions.

Greetings all, my trusty Firefox stopped working. Error Code PR_Connect_reset_error. Other browsers work fine. I have windows 10 with the latest updates and use Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (m). I have paused Kaspersky, uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox 3 times. I have cleared all Firefox cookies and caches a number of times. On my 2nd Firefox reinstallation Firefox worked ok for a couple of times then stopped again with the same error code. Please note that I am not very familiar with computer stuff so any suggestions need baby steps. Many thanks.

I always use the middle mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel) to open and close new tabs, but since the update, it doesn't work anymore and now types "=" if the cursor is in a text field. For context, I use an MX Master S3, mapped with Logi Options+.

Anyone else having this issue? How do I roll back to the previous version??

SOLVED: It was a bug with Logi Options+, not Firefox. When I hovered over the tab for the presets I had for CaptureOne, I noticed it also said Firefox. So seems something weird happened there. Deleted that preset and the issue in Firefox went away.

I couldn't find a way to delete this thread, though.

I have been trying to solve this issue all evening:

HOW does one insert a picture is the text of an email message. I can attach the picture to the email but when I try to drag it into the text, it tells me cannot do it now but to try layer. Its it a memory issue?

Windows 10 Firefox v133.03 20241209150345 64bit Dec 10, 2024.

The issue is I do not have "Pictures" highlighted under the "Insert" menu. However, I do have "Attach file" which I did above, but I cannot drag the picture into the text and scale it as in the past.

When I try to insert the picture into the text, the message "The following files couldn't be attached: Filename.jpg. Please try again later." appears at the very top of the display.

"Link", "Pictures", "Emoji", and "Table" are all not hi-lighted. Do not know why???

So I installed Firefox, set up a FF/Mozilla account, then started watching YouTube videos VIA Firefox. I went to click LIKE on one and it wants me to sign in to Google to do so. Is that the norm? Google owns YouTube?

I'm on OS Windows 11 and the latest version of FF (133). I also use NordVPN; I can access the web via Edge and Chrome with VPN, but for the last month, it doesn't work with FF. What could be the problem?

I need to access the official site for the water institute in the country of Panama and keep receiving the following message Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.idaan.gob.pa. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I could access it until about 1.5 years ago when I used it a lot. Now I cannot access it anymore but this is an official governmental site www.idaan.gob.pa so why cannot it accessed now? I cannot access if from any of my devices, including those with the most up to date windows and Apple versions.

What do I need to do? contacting the institution is out of question as the site works OK in that country, so it is a FireFox problem outside of the country. Please help. Thanks, Helena

I'd like to take a full-page screenshot of my content within my Canvas/Instructure online class, but it only captures what's visible. I've tried opening the frame in its own tab, but it doesn't help.

When I use my phone to capture the entire page, it can work, but it's so narrow! Plus I have to continuously tap the "Scroll Down" button for the capturing process to capture more and more.

I am encountering an issue with the Ultimate Addon Image Gallery when viewed in the Mozilla browser. I recently added an entry to my hosts file but Firefox seems to ignore it. I'm using v. 128.5.1esr, fully updated. I've tried a lot of the advice online and none of it seems to work. Here's what I've tried:

disabled "Enable DNS over HTTPS Cleared the DNS Cache changed "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy". tried troubleshooting mode set network.trr.exclude-etc-hosts to true changed browser.fixup.dns_first_for_single_words to true changed network.dns.offline-local to false restarted FF, rebooted computer

It doesn't work in Chrome either, which makes me wonder if it's a Windows 10 issue. Any suggestions?
