I always used Bing as my homepage. Firefox will not allow me to change my home page to something outside your defaults. I have tried your instructions (I already knew how to do it as I have used Firefox for AGES). None of those work. It hasn't worked for a number of releases. I want to have the home page I want. There is no "saving" the home page anymore. And just changing and following instructions (even the drag and drop) had NO effect. If it close Firefox and reopen it, I am back to the defaults. I am kind of getting to the point that if I cannot save my settings anymore I just think I finally need to switch browsers to one that does.

Hello. Starting yesterday, Firefox has stopped playing audio from every website and even local files. Yes, I read this article and no, the sound is not being muted instead the sound just refuses to play. In the screenshot, it shows that the "play" "mute" and speed option are greyed out. Also, I tried using safe mode and audio still wouldn't play. What should I do?

Firefox slowly loads, home page take too long to load- I can bring up chrome and manually log in and switch back firefox is still "loading site. Safe mode works great - very fast, disable antivirus-no change , re-installed Firefox with NO add ons or ext. still slow !! any suggestions, Chrome/ MS Edge work fast on same machine.

Firefox has been crashing constantly since Oct 6. Out of nowhere. Initially it would happen occasionally, but since Oct it's like seconds after I open it. Every time I have to force quit the application (colour wheel). Even though I am starting with a "refreshed" version (holding ALT + clicking on the icon and selecting refresh) it still happens.

Any help or tips are very much appreciated, FF is my default browser and because of this I have to shift my workflow to Chrome, which I am not fan.

Tabs I usually have open:

• Gmail (pinned)
• Whatsapp (pinned)
• Google Keep (pinned)
• Google Calendar
• Google Spreadsheets
• Reddit
• Kotaku (sometimes)
• The Verge (sometimes)

What I already did:

• Update it (I had initially the previous version)
• Open it holding alt → Refresh Firefox
• Restarting the OS
• Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox
• Disabled hardware acceleration

Hi, I just would like that whenever I open the browser, it would open my saved homepages. If I turn off the computer without closing firefox then the next time I open the browser it will load my previous session. I dont want to load my previous session, I want it to open my homepages every time. I have already unchecked "restore previous session" in the options. It only works if I close the firefox before turning off the computer. Just, please, tell me which option I should uncheck in about:config.

There was some problem in firefox browser and I tried trouble shooting and since, the issue was persisting, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the firefox. I also read that uninstalling and reinstalling the firefox would retrieve the saved logins. I proceeded and lost all saved logins of about 25 to 30 sensitive hard passwords. I browsed the help topics and found that i could retrieve the saved logins. I just searched for key4.db file and clicked on open file location in the properties menu. The result fetched me to old firefox data folder, which have both keydb and login json files. But I do not know, how to transfer the same to my No saved logins in the new firefox settings. Could someone help so that I could retrieve the hard passwords , which is very hard to remember thanks expecting

Hello there , I am trying to modify the menu-bar dropdown items when I hover over the list that opens with my mouse ( the dropdown list of any of Help , Tools , Bookmarks , History etc...). It is barely noticeable. I can hardly see the item chosen. I could use some help using the css. I am using FF93 and my platform is win7. Thanks look4

Whenever I do a search on Firefox the list of results have overlapped text. I've started it in safe mode which seems to work but then goes back to the usual issue even though I disable the plugins I'll include a screenshot below and I refreshed firefox

I want to sort bookmarks alphabetically by name that are in a folder. I hit sort, they rearrange perfectly. I close the window and they go right back to the way they were.

I have used Firefox for years to log in to Fifth Third Bank. The last several months it has worked intermittently. The last 2 weeks it won't work at all. I have done all of the suggestions in Firefox help. Deleted cookies, Reset, Refreshed, etc. No success. I am able to log in using Chrome. The bank tells me that when I am using Firefox they do not see me trying to log in. They can see me immediately when I use Chrome. I am getting an error message number that is not helpful and an IP address that indicates it is tied to Comcast in my hometown. Help! I don't want to use Chrome!

I noticed the following message at the top of my browser settings page - "Your browser is being managed by your organization." Except, this is on my home computer and not being managed by an organization. Is my browser compromised?

I use Later for social media, but when I login I get A network error occurred. Please try again. This error does not show up on Google Chrome OR Safari. It is unique to Firefox.

Logging on to my bank web site is no longer possible with Firefox. It used to be, so I assume the bank's computer security protocols have changed. However, I can log on with the Microsoft Explorer browser - works every time! Moreover, in the past, when I could still log on with Firefox, I could never "register my device" for the bank site; it always gave me an error message. With the Explorer browser, I can register my device, with no error messages. I have tried all the suggestions in the Firefox help section: erased remembered history, erased all history, erased all cookies, erased cookie profile files. Nothing works.

On certain websites, for example unsplash as described in the error code, Firefox always crashes. First the whole window including the menu bars will flash white and then it will crash... Opening in troubleshoot mode will lead to the same result.

Firefox (and Thunderbird) has become slow in recent days. I've used the Refresh option, removed all add-ons and it's still slow. The best Speed Test = 23Mbps. With Microsoft Edge = 116Mbps.

Firefox stopped working with any Captcha for logins anymore! For multiple websites it just does not load the 'not a robot' or the image choices. I have tried the multiple threads of people complaining, and none of the remedies work for me. So much time wasted. I really used to like Firefox, my go-to browser for years.

This is completely unacceptable that your new updates actually break peoples ability to login to websites. We should not have to trouble shoot a basic function that all other browsers can do without problem. Why am I wasting time on trying to fix your browser completely breaking..... simply not working anymore. Did you guys skip Q&A before deployment?

I'm enjoying the feature of the pinned "Amazon Search" on Firefox Home – not just a shortcut to Amazon, but a shortcut with a blue magnifying glass that adds the "search with Amazon" parameter to the main search bar and allows you to search Amazon.com without having to visit the site first. I was wondering if it's possible to add a custom shortcut for other search engines... for example, YouTube?

For reference, I have a custom search keyword established in Settings for YouTube – "@youtube". But I want to know how I can have that keyword pinned to my Home page, just like "@amazon" currently is.
