A site I use daily for news suddenly is not activating, but told me there is an ad blocker happening via an extension. I went on privacy and security and extensions and I have not activated any extensions to block ads. This site activation was working just fine before Firefox notified me of "changes" that would not effect my settings. It obviously did. Would Zoom size be effecting the opening of this site. It's just at 100%. I have been trying Gemini to figure out the problem but so far nothing is working.

How can I fix this

Fingerprinting Protection is altering screen.availWidth and screen.availHeight. These values may not match your actual screen dimensions. This protection helps prevent websites building a fingerprint that can be used to track users. I have been reading about turning off enhanced tracking protection permanently; HOWEVER, the solution does not work. Going to privacy and security, clicking custom and turning everything off still does not shut the thing off fully. The shield in the browser is still active and I constantly have to still turn it off I even had to turn it off to get on this site. That is pretty sad when the makers of the browser block their own site using enhanced tracking protection. Is this another case ( i've seen thousands) where some sortware nerd is trying to show how clever he /she is at coding and in fact messes everything up? WHY DO YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE TRACKING PROTECTION ENTIRELY... IT'S SO ANNOYING.

btw: none of the enhancements like Bold or Italic work on this site either.. great job..../s

I've gone into Extensions and Adblock isn't there. There isn't anything to remove or cancel. Yet numerous websites seem to see something and say I have a adblocker. I did have Adblock Plus at one time, but canceled it and removed it. What else can I do. My Firefox is up to date. I have Windows 10. My computer is incapable of going to Windows 11.

I'm being blocked from accessing an online publication I subscribe to unless I remove an ad blocker. When I complained, I got this response: "The service we use for logins and subscriptions, Piano, has been flagged as a tracker by a widely used open source tracking list, so to access your account information or benefits on the site, you will need to slightly loosen your browser's tracking restrictions that apply to the domain piano.io - how this is done varies quite a bit based on what browser/extension is being used to apply the restrictions." I'm using Firefox v149 on a 4.5yo MacBook Air. I have several ad blockers installed (probably redundantly: AdBlocker Plus, AdBlocker for Facebook, AdBlocker Ultimate, and Ghostery AdBlocker). I have no idea what I need to do to loosen Firefox's tracking restrictions that apply to piano.io. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!
