I have blocked all websites from accessing my geolocation by default in the privacy settings and there are no exceptions on the list.
And yet,
1) many websites I visit seem to have my geolocation, even though I have never shared any information with them
2) the last two suggestions on the first page when I search for anything are always linked to my location
How is this possible? How do I fix it?
Thank you

I saw something about that the Addon wasn't monitored for security.
This lead me to ask this question:
DO ADDONS SEND INFORMATION TO OTHER ENTITIES BESIDES FIREFOX, FOR EXAMPLE DO THEY SEND INFO TO THE DEVELOPERS OF ADDONS?
Thanks for your help in advance, Kavin King

Hello All ,
Hope someone can help me on this. I am trying to access directly a device from Browser with an IP address. https://192.168.1.1 But i get the error : "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead"
Usually get the option of adnaced to proceed further. The Version is 130.0 (64-bit) and even set the about:config, security.dialog_enable_delay to minimum.
I have added the self signned certificate of the deivice to Firefox , but that is not helping, since i am accessing it with IP address and not FQDN. I cannot add it as exception in the exception list , since that setting also ask for DNS name.
Ip address access exception is no more available in this version , how can i proceed further and not downagrade to lower verion to support access via IP .

Zanoob

I have heard that when some airlines know that you are looking for tickets ... the ticket prices are increased when you go to their website over time and time again.

Why is this and what should I do if I want to continue using Firefox? Thanks.

I have noticed some activity in my server logs featuring user agent strings where the "rv" component contains a decimal number greater than 0, such as the following example:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:115.8) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/124.0
Could you please clarify if there are instances where the "rv" portion of a user agent string would legitimately include a decimal number greater than 0?
This looks to be something suspicious going on and would like to make sure if this is something legitimate or not.

I really don't remember installing any plug-in related to it. The Youtube web page shows a download button at the bottom of the video window, when I click on it it opens a pop-up window to the Yt5s web page, but the mentioned web is full of forced advertising and all kind of irregular staff. When I go to the plug-ins section of Firefox it is not shown there. I have no idea how to remove this script. May you please help me?

My blog has started displaying the message, "Firefox can't open this page". The message also says, "To protect your security, accounts.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window." But opening it in a new window didn't work. I tried clearing the cache, and pasting the link into a new open tab, but neither helps. I tried opening it in Safari, and that works fine, so this seems to be a Firefox problem. Any suggestion?

Then I visited the website again, and nothing else was downloaded. Then I checked my downloads folder and saw that under the file name, there was a resource called moz-safe-about. What could it have been?

'Your browser is being managed by your organisation' This appears at the start of settings on my computer, which is a personal computer & not an organisation. The issuer name of the certificate is 'Internet Security Research Group' - Common name ISRG Root X1. Subject name organisation is 'Let's encrypt' (R11). I have recently been finding a frequent inability to access websites, such as DuckDuckGo search , as well as others, being labelled inaccessible. This is often followed by a loss of internet signal, and I have to shut down completely, then restart. I am beginning to suspect that ISRG Root X1 / R11 are responsible for limiting internet access by my personal computer. How do I turn off this organisation and Your browser is being managed by your organisation' from my computer, please?
