After the update, a window popped up asking me to select a profile. But my profile, where all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. were, was gone. I couldn't restore my bookmarks because the only one available was from today and it`s "clean." Is there any way to restore my account data? Because everything was there: settings, bookmarks, passwords, history.

I need to recover a `.jsonlz4` file to restore a Firefox session with 8 active instances, as the "Restore Session" feature only opened 5 due to the `browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo` setting being capped at 5, and the full original `.jsonlz4` file is now missing.

In the`firefox/Crash Reports` directory, there are numerous files I can’t interpret, can I retrieve my session data via telemetry or other methods using this crash information. I’m using Linux Mint with Flatpak Firefox, and I also have crash logs containing a "last crash" text file and a string of numbers, could these be useful for getting back my session?

Meine Lesezeichen sind aufgrund irgendeiner angeblichen Virensoftware komplett verschwunden, auch die Leiste wird nicht mehr angezeigt. Speichern bzw. ein Lesezeichen hinzufügen kann ich auch nicht mehr und geändert habe ich nichts an irgendeiner Software. Der Strom ist ausgefallen, habe neu gestartet und weg waren sie. Neuinstallation und immer noch der gleiche Fehler. Virensoftware ausgeschaltet, trotzdem noch. Profil ist auch nicht geändert. Ich habe alles mögliche versucht, aber ich finde den Fehler nicht.

Mozzila не открывает предыдущую сессию, соответствующая галочка в настройках стоит. Я пробовал разные способы, указанные в часто задаваемых вопросах. В том числе с подменой данных в папке sessionstore-backups: запускал браузер - находил эту папку - вставлял нужный файл .jsonlz4 - перезапускал браузер. В таком случае все мои вкладке были на месте НО после закрытия-открытия браузера сессия снова сбрасывается. При очистке браузера, появлялась кнопка "восстановить предыдущие вкладки", восстановление происходило, НО закрыл-открыл браузер - и снова пусто. Пробовал удалить браузер и установить снова - та же проблема. После запуска, если открыть журнал - в разделе недавно закрытые вкладки, недавняя история поиска - пусто, как будто предыдущей сессии вообще не было. Как исправить эту проблему? Примечание - мои закладки, введённые пароли и расширения на месте.

I recently upgraded Firefox to 145.0.1 but all my bookmarks are missing. I have a backup file. I tried to restore the bookmarks by opening the Library & selecting Restore (under Import & Backup), then clicking "Choose file". However, nothing happened; no further pop-up window. Please advise.

today i recognize that my bookmarks are gone and i cant find any backup data or something else. First of all i restart morzilla. Then i restart my windows 11. still gone so i load a windows backup from yesterday. nothing change so i reinstall Morzilla but its still gone.

Is there anything else i can do ?

I lost all my bookmarks after updating. I couldn't restore them, and now I have to log in to all my accounts. Absolutely everything is gone. I've tried restoring bookmarks, but it doesn't work.

SUBJECT: Profile missing after update to 146.0.1 

After the last Firefox update (146.0.1), I can no longer access my profile that included bookmarks, history and passwords.  

After the update was done on 12/19/25, I was given the option to choose between my original profile and a newly created one. The next day when I opened Firefox, there was only one profile shown and my original profile was gone. I have read numerous fixes for this problem but nothing seems to work.

I have done the following to try to locate my missing profile to no avail. 1. I went to the Profile Manager but the only profile listed was the newly created one. 2. I didn't do a refresh so there was no "Old Firefox Data" folder to copy the data from. 3. Used about:Profiles, Again only the newly created profile was listed 4. I used ~Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles. Still no luck. 

Could my profile have been moved to another place or could it be hidden? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am not a tech savy person. My firefox crashed on my laptop. Now all my book marks are gone. But the book marks are there on my iPhone. Can somebody please please help me to restore?

Hello, I have just installed Firefox version 144.0.2 on a new computer. I have access to all of the Firefox files and data on the original computer, but I am not able to run Firefox on that computer. Therefore, I am not able to create an export file from the original installation. Is it possible for me to import all of the original Firefox data into the new installation? I have purchased a new computer and I want ot transfer al my bookmarks, login details etc onto the new one. I have followed the instructions given on your help pages, to no effect. My old computer ruins Firefox under Win 10. The new computer runs the same version under Win 11. I have copied the contents of Profiles from the old to the new, but Firefox says the profile is missing. When I copy and add the folders in Profiles to the Win 11 computer, there is no difference. The names of the folders in Profiles are different on each computer, so I think that it is looking for a particular file/folder name, but I don't know which one. Can anyone help me?
