I have Windows 10 a decent Lenovo laptop

I am fed up having to update firefox every single day !! Is it not completing the update or is there some glitch that keeps occurring ??

I have used FF for quite a while and ignored MicroSoft Edge... but I dont know how much longer I can carry on with this slowdown !!

Why am I suddenly receiving this error message when signing onto explore.org live camera feed. Error message is "Playback isn't supported on this device". i am able to play other videos on you tube,etc. How can I fix this?

I want to add ContentAnlysis policy in Mozilla Firefox related implementation DLP in my company and have mandatory to add this policy in Mozilla Firefox, but i dont know how to add manually in firefox.

the goal is, when we open about:policies in mozilla, there is a lot of content analysis policy show up there.

the parameter is: AgentName Symantec_dlp PipePathName brcm_firefox_cas Enabled true IsPerUser false ShowBlockedResult false DefaultResult 2 AgentTimeout 300 Interception Points > Clipboard Enabled Interception Points > DragandDrop Enabled Interception Points > FileUpload Enabled Interception Points > Print Enabled

please help me to how add this setting in mozilla policies.

Since I upgraded from FF128-esr to FF140-esr I always get the "Firefox is being updated by another instance" This is really driving me crazy, as I checked / did / .... everything (and even more) I found on the internet related to that.

Nothing helps !

Creating and using a new default profile didn't help

Finally I ended up uninstalling FF completely (making sure no -zero- leftovers remained in ProgramFiles, AppData a.s.o.), and reinstalled FF140.7.0-esr freshly. After installation I started FF immediately with the created default profile (only existing one) --> SAME THING : "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

And this is really a FF140 thing, when I go back to FF128, on the same computer, same profiles, ...., the problem is gone.

I would like to know in detail what checks are really done by FF to decide to give that "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

I'm experiencing an issue with Firefox caching a JSON file.

My website uses a JSON file to display dynamic values. After updating the JSON file on the server, Chrome, Edge, and other browsers immediately show the latest data, but Firefox continues to display the old values even after refreshing the page.

I have tried: - Hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R) - Clearing Firefox cache - Private Browsing mode - Confirmed the JSON file is updated on the server - Verified that Chrome and Edge display the latest values

The JSON file is requested using JavaScript from my website: Main issue on this page: https://bloxvalues.net/blox-fruits-value-calculator/ and other individul item pages too.

Could Firefox be aggressively caching the JSON file, or is there a cache-related setting or HTTP header I should check? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have card data saved for a number of cards in Firefox, and I am looking to clean that data up. However, when I go to Settings>Passwords and autofill>Payment methods>Manage payment methods no cards are showing up as saved. I also know that this is not Lastpass causing issues, as this card data is not saved in Lastpass. I have attached screenshots of both the manage payments page and the card data showing up for autofill selection on a webpage add payment method screen.

I had a problem with my Zotac PC and had to do a reset, when done none of my passwords or bookmarks came back after the resety even though Firefox asked for my password and email to send me a code but everything is gone and I have way to reach some of my frequently used sites, can you please help? I have been reading about turning off enhanced tracking protection permanently; HOWEVER, the solution does not work. Going to privacy and security, clicking custom and turning everything off still does not shut the thing off fully. The shield in the browser is still active and I constantly have to still turn it off I even had to turn it off to get on this site. That is pretty sad when the makers of the browser block their own site using enhanced tracking protection. Is this another case ( i've seen thousands) where some sortware nerd is trying to show how clever he /she is at coding and in fact messes everything up? WHY DO YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE TRACKING PROTECTION ENTIRELY... IT'S SO ANNOYING.

btw: none of the enhancements like Bold or Italic work on this site either.. great job..../s

Seit dem letzten update kann ist das application menu in english(usa) nicht mehr in deutsch. Ich habe versucht das Sprachpaket in deutsch zu installieren, ohne Erfolg. Auch sind meine Add ons verschwunden. Ärgerlich. Will Firefox, dass ich zu einem anderen Browser wechsel? Ich glaube nicht.
