Every time FF does an update it deletes my saved sites on the FF home page. When I try and put them back in the blank spaces it will not let me. I have tried reinstalling FF and it does not help at all. I try in safe mode and it does not work either.

Is it no longer possible to deactivate the picture-in-picture (pip) video control in Firefox 124.0.2 (64-bit)? The picture-in-picture thing annoys me when surfing and on YouTube on my PC.

HELP Please have tried numerous times by instructions given on support. Nothing is working. Can not correct with Dr. Thank you:)

Firefox has the option to "choose where to save files to" on its options, which I have activated. It works for pretty much every file format/extension EXCEPT PDFs. When I open a PDF on Firefox, it is automatically saved to the downloads folder, overriding my own settings. This is pretty annoying, I wondered if there was a way to choose individually like I do for all my other files.

As described in the title Firefox instantly closes after opening it. I can see the window opening for half a second but then it closes again. Same with Troubleshoot mode. New installation of Windows 11, new installation of Firefox, only the standard antivirus from Windows. I don't know what could pose an issue except maybe some corrupt data that was downloaded from Onedrive although I already deleted the profiles in the AppData folder.

Hello, as of recently Firefox got the new tool to highlight text in the native PDF viewer, and I really enjoyed using it. As of today, I had not updated or changed versions, but I suddenly lost access to the highlight tool option. Refreshing the page didn't work, downloading a new PDF and opening it didn't work, restarting Firefox didn't work, and I haven't seen anybody else have this issue.

I get the following error message when I try to open the Firefox homepage. XUL runner Error: Platform version 124.0.2 is not compatible with minVersion >=124.0.1 maxversion <=124.0.1

Once again, MS Edge updated itself without my permission and set itself as default browser. When I restored Firefox as browser, my history and bookmarks are all gone. How do I get them back?

I've been searching for how to disable the little dropdown menus with emails you could use for a field, but I can't find anything.

I made a clean install and found someone that had the solution, but I can't find this post anymore no matter how much I search.

There's no forms and autofill section for me under the privacy section of settings, whether it's been removed through updates or it's a bug for me (which would be weird if it were both the case on my current PC and the old one) I don't know.

All I know is that the solution involved going to about:config and changing a setting in there.

I don't want to just delete the entry by doing down arrow and delete.

Any help is appreciated!

This sh*t is getting beyond ridiculous. I've used Firefox for years and not had any problems so the last time this happened I thought well maybe it's just a fluke. IT JUST FU*KING HAPPENED AGAIN! I've slowly been migrating to and using Chrome lately and I think I'm finally ready to make the switch. FIREFOX FU*KING SUCKS.

My bank tells me that my browser Mozilla, private browsing, is opening their website as a mobile site and needs to change it to a desktop site. I am missing some of the page content in the mobile mode. I can't find any settings in Mozilla menu that allows me to do that. What do I do? Thanks.

Why does my Firefox browser no longer show "Google Advanced Search" screen? All of a sudden, I can no longer access the "Google Advanced Search" screen in Firefox. It shows when I use Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome, so what is wrong with Firefox that I can no longer access "Google Advanced Search" screen in Firefox. All I get is a window that says "Google in the upper corner, there is a sudden flash of the Advanced Search screen and then it disappears and the window goes blank. This does not happen in any other browser. The issue just started today and there appears to be no way to fix it.
