I have a slim window of firefox opend on the side when working on e.g. OneNote. The problem lies within the zoom of firefox, wich causes half of the page not to be visable. Is there a feature to rezise pages to fit the width of the window (or a practical command using .css files)? And preferably only if the window is too small, if it is to big, it shouldn't zoom in.

Firefox runs perfectly smooth in 3840x2160, so this is not a perf issue. However when switching from onboard laptop screen (2k) to my external WQHD screen, Firefox does not refresh, not reacting to input or mouse until I switch back and forth from another window. So it only refresh/repaint when main window looses and gets focus.

I have to restart firefox to make it works again.

Configuration: Linux debian stable (11) (same on PopOS) CPU: intel 8550 / GPU: Intel HD 620 RAM: 16Gb External monitor connected through usb-c 3.1

It does the same with Thunderbird. My Qt apps and terminals (alacritty) are not impacted.

In the Page Info Window Media Tab when trying to save multiple images the Save As button is covered up by the ? help icon so when clicking on it instead of saving the images it opens up the support page. It only happens when trying to save multiple images, when saving a single image it works fine. Just wondering if it is my computer or not. I'm on a 21 mac pro 14"

When I scroll down to look at recent posts on Facebook groups I follow all but the top one has suddenly lost its date/time – I just get a blank where the details would usually be and have to hover over to reveal the details. The silly thing is that this only happens when I sign in and it doesn’t happen when I use chrome – although I prefer using Firefox, not least because the bookmarks sidebar is better. I have tried getting rid of all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but without success. Any help/advice would be appreciated (as long as it is not about football!)

Firefox Mozilla keeps popping up on the side of my computer asking for payment and I know this isn't right but asking you if this is a Scam Alert or is Firefox really asking me for a payment

I am having trouble deleting Folders in Bookmarks Manager. When I search I get untold # of links, many of which do NOT relate to the topic. I'm sure the answer is somewhere but I can't find it. Can someone point me to the info?

Is there a way to refine the results from a large list? I'm a retired librarian so I have a lot of experience searching.

On switching on my Windows laptop I used to get a background picture with several clickable links inviting me to a) Like or Dislike the image or b) find out more about it. (Pressing Enter brings up the Login password dialogue) Recently the startup background suddenly reverted to a bland graphic theme (see uploaded image). What happened? My default browser is Mozilla Firefox.

Hi, I have had an issue for a couple of weeks now, very annoying, when say in excel or intellij, I am pressing the tab button, and for example, it doesnt indent as it should 4 spaces, instead it goes outside of what I am working on, and goes to firefoxview in top left, and if I press tab about 10-12 times, after this specific and exact sequence, it will end up back in excel for example, in the correct place, and then will work properly, but only after it has completed the first 10-12 steps. It is not specific to one laptop, but also applies to desktop, both are apple, one laptop is 9 years old desktop is newish fwiw.

Tried resetting keyboard to default settings on both etc, no change.

Help appreciated.

I have 2 laptops (Macs) and want to Merge the bookmarks on the two. I can only find ways to copy one to the other, but then it overwrites what is on the laptop the bookmarks are being copied too.

This spring, I noticed I couldn't use Firefox with OpenSRS... my controls inside the portal don't work in FF anymore. Today, I see my controls don't work in SiteGround, and that's my livelihood and how I manage sites. What gives? These changes drive me to Chrome, where the sites function. Whenever I attempt to enter my bank account (Maine) I receive a "security message" and when I click to have my phone contacted in order to receive a pass code, the phone NO LONGER rings like it used to.

What is the problem?

I now have to use Microsoft Edge in order to get into my bank account.

When designing in Indesign, I go to Adobe Fonts.com to activate fonts that I want to use. All the font's look the same as default. How do I get the font to display on Firefox browser. Fonts do display correctly when I use Safari.

bold textI am a longtime Firefox user and it has been excellent. Firefox is my browser. For approx. the last 2 weeks it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to load my outlook for my emails. I have reloaded Firefox and the problem remains. I downloaded Google Chrome and set it up as my browser and Outlook and my emails load instantly. What is the problem with Firefox?

Since some days I can't upload or download anything using Firefox. Right-click on an image and click "download" - nothing happens. Right-click on a web page and click "Save Page as" - nothing happens. Try to upload a file to DropBox or Google Drive - no popup appears, no error message, no response whatsoever. Opening the downloads list in the browser and trying to open the folders where I had previously downloaded things (when downloading was still working) also has no effect - the folder does not open on the desktop.

So apparently the problem is some kind of broken interaction between Firefox and Ubuntu (Nautilus?)

Downloading and uploading works normally with wget and Chromium.

Steps already tried: - Resetting all browser data - Refreshing the browser - Activating troubleshooting mode

I have just got a new laptop which I am setting up. I want to sync Firefox accounts. The main email for Firefox was deleted by BT when I moved to BT residential from Business (I had no choice) I have ended up with a new account because of this and can't sync my computers as the older one has the old non existent email and the new one has the new email! Any suggestions?
