Hi,

I don't come from an IT/Tech background so this has become a hassle for me. I have a "Old Firefox Data" file on the my desktop and that seems to have sub-folders with my bookmarks, sessions, logins, etc. How do I retrieve those to the new Firefox browser.

Yesterday I got a prompt saying there was an update available for download. Today when restarting my laptop and opening Firefox ALL of my bookmarks are missing!!! My bookmark toolbar is also empty. Where did all of this important stuff go? Please help me restore this my information asap. I am freaking out!

Hey, So I just updated my Mozilla with the latest update and after I restarted my laptop all my bookmarks, history and favourites are gone. I didn't do any backups manually. It's few hundred important work-related links lost. What actually happened? Can I get them back? Please help.

Firefox did an automatic update today. But now all of my saved bookmarks, saved passwords and items are gone in the new version. How can I retrieve them or return to my previous version of firefox?

I don't think I chose the right topic, but here goes. With every Firefox update, my bookmarks and everything always seemed to merge into the new update. My computer rebooted with updates today, and I get into Firefox to find that NONE of my bookmarks made it this time.

Everything is empty, and I don't have a backup anywhere because I didn't expect this. Yes, I know - always back up everything but honestly, I haven't had time.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Are my bookmarks hidden somewhere?

I have a lot of stuff for research for writing stored in my bookmarks, and I can't lose them.

Firefox crashed and I cannot recover my tabs from history. I click on restore all tabs and it does nothing. The tabs I was hoping to recover do not even appear in my history either.

all bookmarks have disappeared along with my passwords. how do I get them back? previous answers haven't helped. before that, I would have trouble playing video and audio together, if I turned the audio off the video would work then when I turned the audio back on the video stopped. I am about ready to delete Firefox and use another browser.

Hello, I'm a few weeks late signing back into my Mozilla account after deletion email called for the last day as June 10th. Considering I travel alot for work, I didn't sign back in until now. Hate the "puzzle piece." Involuntarily upgraded to 115.25.0esr and it lost all my bookmarks, addons, history. How do I know which profile was the most recent, before the update added a new profile? How do I find my addons from the previous version? history?

Hi. While clearing my browser history the other night some of my bookmarks also got deleted. I understand once browser history is deleted it cannot be recovered, but is there any way a deleted bookmark can be recovered?

How do i recover my bookmarks without having to get them all back manually? Super annoying. Btw this new browser sidebar is terrible and unnecessary please tell your boss to get rid of it

Today I tried to open Firefox, but no matter how I tried it didn't work. I uninstalled Firefox completely from my computer and reinstalled it. However, when I tried to sign in and sync my profile with all my saved passwords and history, it went to a default mode I think, and I can't see any of my saved passwords. Can you help me recover all my passwords please?

When I opened Firefox today, all my bookmarks are gone and a message about a Firefox is opened by another application is showing. None of your online suggestions helped. Is there a hidden way to restore Firefox to another version?
