If I have taken photos in past years on a particular date, I get an email from Microsoft to review them. I normally do it on my phone, but today tried it from my computer. The path is "One Drive" "Photos" "Moments" and then "On This Day." If you click on the photos that in the graphic that looks like a movie strip, a montage of the photos shows up and you can also click on one. However, in Firefox, I click on a picture and the screen goes gray, but nothing ever loads. I thought it was a Microsoft issue so used their help function. The rep and I tried it, then cleared the cache, then tried it in a private setting. We got the same result every time. Then he tried it whatever Microsoft's browser is called and it worked just fine. They said it was a problem on the Mozilla Firefox end, so I'm reporting it. Please let me know if you can help me make it work. I don't like using anything except Firefox.

I saw bunch of threads which suggest to enable "ctrl+tab cycles through tabs in recently used order". It does what I need, but in previous versions I used to press only ctrl+tab. While I was holding ctrl I could iterate over tabs via tab key. After releasing ctrl selected tab was chosen

It differs with current behavior where you press ctrl+tab and after releasing all keys pop up with tabs is still be viewed and you need manual action with space/enter/mouse click to open selected tab

Is there any way to use only ctrl+tab without any manual actions required like it was back in the days where after releasing the control key selected tab is opened?

I've gone through the various troubleshooting options over the last month or so and Firefox is still crashing constantly for me, even in Troubleshooting mode. The tabs crash when I'm using a Google Doc, YouTube, Discord, doesn't matter the site; I've submitted about 20 crash reports this morning alone and failed to submit several more:

I cannot access my credit union's marketing page: "marketing.riograndecu.org" This has been a problem for the past week. I am connected to my home wifi. I repeatedly get this message:

The connection has timed out

The server at marketing.riograndecu.org is taking too long to respond.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

Help, please.

This morning (08/28/25), I updated my browser to v142.0.1 (64-bit), and Facebook as well as other sites have been affected to the point that I can't even see contents now!!!!!!!

I (God forbid) opened the same sites in Edge, and there's no problem viewing them on Edge.

Is there a way that I can roll back this latest update, because I had no problems until this morning. I'm running a Win 10 Pro OS.

How can you remove the regular reminder to update firefox to the newest version on macos that occurs when you tick "Check for updates but let you choose to install them"?

I installed Firefox on a fresh Win 11 install, and most of the the favicons are still generic on the Home Page several days later. Facebook, Ebay and Youtube are the only ones that appear consistently, sometimes other will display, but then be gone again the next time the app is launched. All other links just have the generic letter icons.

I tried deleting the 3 favicon files in the Profiles folder, but it did nothing. I've tried manually re-adding the links, still nothing. I removed the "S" from "https;//" and still nothing. The favicons all show up on my other machines which use Firefox on the same user account, so it is not a problem with the websites themselves.

Not sure if its related, but upon installing Firefox on this machine, it made Firefox on my Mac desktop absolutely freak out. I had to make a significant number of changes over the course of hours to fix everything, so many relating to favicons alone that I don't know what actually fixed it.

What else can I do to try and get these working? Why does Firefox apparently struggle with this particular feature across multiple OSes?

i just want to be able to add drag space to the top of my browser so i can move the window easily while it's maximized. i have been unable to find the customization section of firefox options and there is also no place on this website to speak to an actual member of support staff. this should be simple

Every since I updated my MacBook Pro M1 Max chip to Firefox 142.0.1 (aarch64), Firefox locks up & has to be "Force Quit" & restarted almost every day. Please update the app ASAP so I don't have to convert to Google Chrome. Thank you!

I've been backing up my opened tabs for the past 4 or 5 years with the steps in this legendary post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1257866

But this time it failed me and I don't know why. I just switched from Debian to Linux Mint, put everything up to date, but when I copy the sessions-store folder back into my session folder, as described in the post, nothing happens. I tried restoring only the 2 files listed there, and also dropping them in the general user folder, outside sessions-store, but still nothing. I've also noticed that the sessions-store folder isn't created automatically, even if I open a bunch of new tabs now and close the browser.

I don't even know how to begin troubleshooting this to be honest, this is the first time this method's ever failed me :(

My primary google account's language is set to english. If I search normally, then the results are shown in english. If I open a private window and search in google, the results will try to be in the regional english and google asks if I want to switch to english every time.

Ever since upgrading to Windows 11, my Firefox installation has occasionally been unable to resolve domain names of some websites. Example domains:

• apps.powerapps.com
• static.cdninstagram.com
• google.com

As I was trying to debug this, I discovered that the DNS resolution and connection timings are just over 30 seconds (see the attached image). This is highly unusual.

• The issue does not occur with other web browsers on my computer (i.e., Microsoft Edge).
• The issue has persisted across reboots.
• I have already reinstalled Firefox (and wiped the temp files and appdata profile before installing again).
• The issue does not occur with other devices on my home network.
• DNS over HTTPS has been manually disabled.
• Changing DNS resolvers in my Windows settings does not fix the issue.
• The issue is still present with a fresh, unmodified installation of Firefox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I love Firefox and do not want to switch to a different browser.

Hi, just to say, sorry, I’m an absolute idiot, I don’t understand tech at all. I have a VPN, privacy badger and ublock origin. These issues continue whether these three things are turned off or not, so I believe it must be to do with my Firefox settings.

Everything was fine, but now all of the sudden, certain elements of pages will not load.

So for example, today I tried to go to Gizmodo and look at a Star Trek page. Cool. https://gizmodo.com/star-trek-day-announcements-include-a-lego-collaboration-and-a-youtube-kids-series-2000655142

This is not the only site, just an example.

Clicked the comment button to see what people are saying. It won’t load the comments. The comments are completely blocked. They don't exist. When I try to look at the comments, it just shows me another part of the webpage, can't even see the comments.

Thought it was just this site, but then today I was on a plastic surgeon site in Europe to make a payment and it wouldn’t load the payment page.

I tried turning off badger and unblock to make the payment, and it didn’t work.

Honestly I really have no idea what the problem is, I know I’m doing something stupid but I don’t know what it is or how to figure out.

Any help on figuring out what’s going on or where the hiccups for these might be would be welcome.

I cannot log in to iCloud.com, even after setting a popup block exception. When I click on the "go" arrow after entering password, I get a notice on my iPhone to allow access. After I approve, I get a 6-digit verification code on the iPhone. But no popup window appears on the Firefox tab, so I can enter the code. Any suggestions?
