Hi, To who it may concern, a big thank you. I am a longtime Linux Firefox user. I had a secondary password, but somehow it has been deleted. I have changed my primary password and I have full access to Gmail, Youtube and other Google pages. My email address has always been the same for many years. It is recognised by Firefox when I type "My account on Firefox" though I am not allowed to enter another secondary email address.

The system continues to tell me that my original email address is the primary address. That address has been hacked and I need to remove it and replace it. I am then told I need to add a secondary address before I can change. I go into the area where this is done and when I press add it says that the new address is already there. How do I get rid of the hacked address and replace it with the new one (which Mozilla does actually recognize!)?

I downloaded geckodriver from https://github.com/mozilla/geckodriver/releases

but I would like to verify the integrity of the download. I tried to do this by running gpg --verify geckodriver-v0.34.0-linux-aarch64.tar.gz.asc geckodriver-v0.34.0-linux-aarch64.tar.gz but it looks like the key used to sign the release has not been imported on my system. Where can I find this key used to sign the geckodriver?

I'm using Firefox 127.0.2 on Arch Linux. In settings under General>Startup>"Open previous windows and tabs" is not checked. Under about:config browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand is false, and browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash is false

How do I get Firefox to give me a clean slate after restarting my computer?

I changed a global setting in the KDE Breeze theme to always show scrollbar arrows. It works in most windows but not in Firefox, which refuses to display them. Is there a way to fix this? It is a major accessibility problem.

Firefox has long been my browser of choice on all platforms. I am switching from Windows to Linux and have recently found problems playing some videos on the Linux version of Foxfire. I don’t know if it’s a matter of having the right codec or something else. The videos play with Chromium on Linux and with Firefox on my Android smartphone. Trying to get to the "http://localhost:631" website from my Ubuntu 22.04, but always get "can not connect". What is going on? What do I need to do to fix this? I have tried to add this website to the exception list but it changes the http to https.

How do I get access to a page that is unsafe if I want it. As I do service a lot of old machines and it is anoying that I have to use all the time a different browser because of not getting thrue to the page if it is for example only http:// and has not Cert.

This anoying feature is very bad as it is destroying the usage reason of firefox.

I had 5 accounts show up whenever I opened the email. In about the past 2 weeks 1 account stopped doing this. How can I get this account to do what it did and shoe up with the other 4 ???

Out of nowhere I started having problems watching Videos on Twitch. So, after some Flatpak repairs and reinstalls, I decided to sync my data with Firefox Sync and remove it completely. For my surprise after reinstalling and logging in on Firefox Sync my only extensions and, what looks like part of my history were restored. Lost my session, custom tabs names etc.

This is pretty much the same as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/801343 back in Firefox 3.x → 4 times. I do recall having the same problem then, and disabling hardware acceleration did fix it back then, but it no longer does.

I’m currently on 115.3 ESR, but I’ve observed this for a while in Quantum (I don’t recall seeing it on Gecko with HW accel disabled).
