What should be my response to these messages? Dismiss closes the particular message, but it is immediately replaced with another similar one. I have no idea what the xxxx.mergenetworkprotocol is or how to use it. It is real or a phishing scam? Is it safe to simply tell Firefox to hide it?

Just visited Telstra and bought a new dongle and SIM Card. All worked at the showroom now home can't get access to the internet via my dongle? Blue light went throiugh continuous to blue blinking suggesting its connected but any inetrnet address gets the same result - "You are not connected to the internet?"

I consistently get an "Error 500" message when trying to view some sites. Firefox will redraw the page if I refresh the screen, but I get the same error after a few seconds. The main (but not only) site I experience this problem is a local news station (KRNV). I'm running Firefox 115.7.0esr (64 bit) on OpenSuse Leap 15.5.

Also, why does the search function here seem not to work? I tried searching for "Error 500" messages, but most of them seemed to involve trying to sync with other devices. So I tried "Error 500 -sync", but still got the same messages with sync in them

I just updated my iMac from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.7. I thought Firefox would provide an update to convert the esr version to the standard Firefox browser since I am no longer using Mojave, but the next update is 115.15.0esr. Is that correct? My understanding is that the esr updates are just for computers using older operating systems through Mojave. I did not update to 115.15.0esr since I am not sure if that is the right version for Catalina. Any information and assistance you can provide me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I want to disable the Tab hover preview and I follow the instructions per Mozilla Support, which are:

Enter about:config in the address bar and set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false.

When I enter about.config and search for "set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false" it comes up as false. And there doesn't seem to be a need or way to save that setting, already set to false. But it still has the hover preview.

How do I get rid of the preview mode?

I recently added an ADDON that function to, OPEN A LINK IN A NEW TAB.

I saw something about that the Addon wasn't monitored for security.

This lead me to ask this question:

DO ADDONS SEND INFORMATION TO OTHER ENTITIES BESIDES FIREFOX, FOR EXAMPLE DO THEY SEND INFO TO THE DEVELOPERS OF ADDONS?

I had to reset windows 11, all my files were kept ,including the history in firefox but the bookmarks of 10 years of work were deleted. I tried to restore it but there is no old version in my computer after the reset. iI am vey sad. please contact me in [email address] for help thank you

This recently happened on Firefox for my laptop and the characters are broken. I've tried re-installing and removing the files Application Support/Firefox, but the issue still persists. The language is set to English CA. Can anyone help with this please?

Device: Macbook Pro - M3 Chip - Sonoma 14.5

I was playing a game on Facebook when the screen froze and then blanked out. Now when I try to access any games, I get the message that 'my browser does not support this feature'. Is this a Facebook problem and is there anything I can do to solve it - there is no point trying to contact Facebook. TIA

This an interesting one. When running Firefox on my personal Macbook. I've been recently having issues loading sites like Reddit, Facebook and a few others in private browsing mode.

The issue seems to only affect certain sites, browsing the rest of the internet I have no issues. However, with these sites, they simply either will not load or require multiple refreshes to work.

Even more interesting, my work Macbook has a similar ecosystem and works fine.

I have updated and reinstalled Firefox, cleared caches and history. And run both with and without VPN. As well as being sure to reboot the Mac before trying each new attempted fix.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening or what my next steps might be before I go to Apple for help?

The interface for Multi-Account Containers has changed. How do I manage the containers. Specifically, how do I create new containers and delete old, unused ones? Put the Manage Containers button back with the old buttons.
